Friends, Both adult believers in Christ and the Church, and infant believers in Christ and the Church, should be baptized. Infants baptized into the One Orthodox Catholic Church will later be instructed in the holy Orthodox Faith. Adult converts to Christ in the Orthodox Church need to be baptized in water and the Spirit, also.

Please explain how an infant can experience the knowledge of himself as a sinner in need of a Saviour and then repent.

Nowhere in scripture are we instructed to baptize our babies.
It is a man-made tradition built on fear and error. It does nothing but get them good and wet.

gideon, BRAVO!!!! I have never seen such a great study on baptism. I thank our God that He has given you such great knowledge and wisdom! :) You obviously have a close walk with God. For no one could have done such a study without the Holy Spirits guidence. Keep listening to Gods voice.
