Christ founded the church on Peter matt 16:18 and the apostles in hierarchy and union Matt 18:18 Jn 20:21-23 eph 2:20

Well if not the Bible, then by what means do you learn the knowledge evil? Is there another book which declares to you what is a sin?
Thankfully, God has supplied all men with a conscience that just knows when something is bad.

Not the Bible alone but the teaching authority of the apostles
An article of faith to be believed must be proposed by holy church. Matt 28:19

Define "holy church".
I know it would have no sin in it, as sin isn't holy.
Four Marks of the True Church founded by Jesus Christ on Peter, the apostles, and their successors!

One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church!

The church is One:

Isaiah 9:7
Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

Dan 2:44
And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

Lk 1:32-33 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:

33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

Mt 16:18
And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

John 10:16
And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

But now are they many members, yet but one body.

Eph 1:10
That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

Colossians 3:15
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were
called in the one body.

Philippians 1:27
Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;

Philippians 2:2
be of same the mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of
one mind.

The church is Holy because Her founder is God, and Holy is His name.

She is the spotless bride of Christ.

1 Peter 2:9-10
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people
belonging to God... Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God.

Ephesians 2:19-22
Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God’s people and members of God’s household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.

The church wasn't founded on Peter, a Jewish man, but on what the Father revealed unto him..."And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." (Matt 16:16-18)

My church wasn't founded on a mere man, but on the Son of God.
And I know it is the real church because the gates of hell have not prevailed against it.

How do you govern the church and administer the kingdom with a confession?

How do you give jurisdictional authority to a confession?

How do you give a confession the power to bind and loose?

also have to explain
Isa 22:21-22
Matt 16:18
Matt 28:19
Jn 20:21-23
Eph 2:20
Matt 23

God always establishes order in the obedience to hierarchical authority!

Thanks no

I was referring to the Ten Commandments specifically
What is the first one and how do you know?
JLB answered your question in post #4. We know it is the first because the word of God tells us so. I would think even you being a Roman Catholic would know the ten commandments so what is your purpose in asking what the first one is.

Scripture does not say so they are all according to the “tradition of men” like the five Protestant dogmas (Solas) mere human tradition all attacking Christ and his holy church
Any attack on the church is an attack on Christ acts 9:4
Can you show us how Solas attacks Christ?

Don’t know what you’re talking about
It’s Latin for “peace of Christ”
Yes it is, but can not get into the evil underlining of when they say peace then sudden destruction will come upon them, 1 Thessalonians 5:3, as that is another topic of discussion.

“Faith alone” not biblical

Agreed.

Faith alone not biblical.

He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. Mark 16:16

Great scripture.

However, this passage doesn't mention faith.

Let's deal with passages that actually teach about faith, and the principle or law of faith.

JLB

I feel the equating of the study of God's word...with evil...is ludicrous.

I did not equate the studying of God's word with evil.. You Did!

Thankfully, God has supplied all men with a conscience that just knows when something is bad.

Agreed, as Paul said....

Romans 2:14
For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:

Not to murder or kidnap or steal is written on my heart.

Well praise God that the word is written upon your heart. But if the word is written on your heart, why then do you need to study the Book, the Book that contains the knowledge of good and evil? What does the Book give you that God hasn't already written upon your heart?

Not the Bible alone but the teaching authority of the apostles
An article of faith to be believed must be proposed by holy church. Matt 28:19
The authority by which the Apostles teach from and what they teach is from God who gave them through the teachings of Christ, not the church. One either believes the whole word of God, or they believe none of it as you can not pick and chose what you want to believe by the doctrines of your own church. The article of faith is our belief in Christ by that of God's grace. This is what the church needs to be teaching.

How do you govern the church and administer the kingdom with a confession?
How do you give jurisdictional authority to a confession?
How do you give a confession the power to bind and loose?
Confession of what?
also have to explain
Isa 22:21-22
Matt 16:18
Matt 28:19
Jn 20:21-23
Eph 2:20
Matt 23

God always establishes order in the obedience to hierarchical authority!
All your verses were quite self-explanatory.
As God is the final authority, anything tending to wickedness is not of God.
Like calling someone besides God "father".
Calling someone "father" is not of God. (Matt 23:9)
And as "a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump", the "father" example saved me from a false set of circumstances that would have cost me my soul.

I did not equate the studying of God's word with evil.. You Did!
Not so.
You wrote..."In that context, the first and most significant commandment in the scripture is the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shall NOT touch it. Yet still today, many find this fruit to be desirable, a fruit to make one wise; the fruit of the Bible itself, the knowledge of good and evil."
Your inference was that the knowledge, or the desire for knowledge of things, in the bible is evil.
I find that ludicrous.
Agreed, as Paul said....
Romans 2:14
For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:

Well praise God that the word is written upon your heart. But if the word is written on your heart, why then do you need to study the Book, the Book that contains the knowledge of good and evil? What does the Book give you that God hasn't already written upon your heart?
Because there is more than what is required of "just my conscience" in order to teach and preach the doctrine which is according to Godliness.
There are history and witnesses and promises to recall and remember. Just to mention a few reasons to give thanks for God's word.
My conscience is unaware of those things, without study.

Agreed.

Faith alone not biblical.

He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. Mark 16:16

Great scripture.

However, this passage doesn't mention faith.

It does require faith

5. And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart wasonly evil continually.

By this time man had fallen pretty low.
No matter that God had spoken to Adam and Eve in the garden.

So by the time of Jesus how were the hearts of men and the disciples?
They wanted to know who would sit on his left and right hand.
Peter forbid Jesus to suffer.
They thought Jesus would have delivered Israel.
Doubted his resurrection.
Abandoned Jesus.
Denied knowing him.

The Gentiles were without God in the world.

So what got us on a better ( if not perfect ) track?

I will put my law in their hearts and minds.
