As I said, the date that I gave for the cusp of the Age of Aquarius was an approximation, as it is based on the date for the cusp of the preceding Age of Pisces, which was also an approximate. The beginning of the Age of Pisces is based on the day that the Christian Church began. The Christian Church is defined as being the body of believers in Jesus the Christ, who thereby have received the gift of the Holy Spirit. The Christian dispensation of the Holy Spirit began with 1) the descent of the Holy Spirit upon Jesus when He prayed after His baptism, which 2) was dispensed to the first two believers, Peter and probably John, when they heard John the Baptist proclaim Jesus to be the Lamb of God, Joh.1:37/ Luk.16:16. Jesus then 3) showed that He was the Messiah by overcoming the three temptations of Satan. Therefore, the Age of Pisces began on the day that Jesus Christ, in the power of the Holy Spirit, confirmed His covenant as the Messiah, by overcoming Satan’s temptations.
That occurred on Nisan 1, 29AD (as follows), which was the beginning of the “new heavens and a new earth”, Isa.65:17/ Isa:66:22. Then the “new heaven and the new earth”, Rev.21:1, shows that both blood covenants are still in effect. The reference to “there was no more sea” is because the Herodian laver, which eventually replaced the bronze sea of the 1st temple, was destroyed along with the Herodian temple in 70AD, albeit the transition of the new heavens and new earth was before 70AD.
Physically speaking, the transition from one heaven to another is in reference to the axial precession transition from Aries to Pisces, along with the associated polar star. As Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, and Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac, and the axial precession proceeds in the reverse direction of the monthly zodiac, the Aries to Pisces transition begins a new precessional zodiac cycle; hence, the new heavens. The transition to a new earth is in reference to the modern Anno Domini, or Common Era, which began when the Messiah confirmed His covenant.
I did not believe that the exact date for the start of the Age of Pisces could be determined from scripture, as I had previously tried on a number of occasions. After my last post, the indeterminacy of the date that I had given bothered me, and the Holy Spirit moved me to try again. This time I was put to the grindstone, and after heating up a while, I finally found the scriptural process by which an exact date for His baptism is determined from scripture! Scripture is truly wonderfully wrought!
Nobody can seriously dispute that the baptism of Jesus was in 29AD, Luk.3:1/ Joh.2:20. His baptism was before Passover Day (always a full moon on Nisan 14) of 29AD, which was on Sunday, April 17, 29AD.
For further confirmation of a 29AD baptism, we need to look at Daniel’s 70 weeks, Dan.9:24-27.
70 weeks, 7+62+1=70, no 62||1 gap, 70x7=490;
Beginning at
Ezr.7:9, which was seven years after Nisan 1, 465BC (465BC-7=458BC).
Nisan, 458BC is the
Dan.9:25 “
going forth” of
Ezr.7:26.
Nisan 458BC unto the Jewish end of 32AD (crucifixion in Nisan, 33AD) is (458+32)=(490=70x7).
Daniel’s 70th week began in Nisan, 26AD, and those seven years were concluded with the crucifixion of Jesus in Nisan, 33AD. The 70th week of Daniel began in 26AD, as there were 3 years of private ministry (as Lord; secretly anointed king of Israel), and then there were 4 years of public ministry (as Savior), which was concluded in Nisan of 33AD by the crucifixion, which was the end of the 70th week.
Verse Dan.9:27 says that "
after the sixty-two weeks Messiah will be cut off". The 70th week is the last week, as there are 7+62+1 weeks of years. So,
the crucifixion wasn’t immediately after the 7+62 weeks, rather,
the 70th week was immediately after the 70+62 weeks; and the end of the 70th week was the crucifixion. So,
after the 7+62 weeks comes the 70th week, which is when the “
Messiah will be cut off”; at the end of it.
So, Daniel’s 70th week was from 26AD-33AD. The first part of Dan.9:27 says, “
Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.” There are no 3.5 weeks in relation to Daniel's 70 weeks, rather, the year 29AD is the middle of the week. After the conclusion of the 3rd year of His private ministry, Jesus began His public ministry in 29AD, when in the power of the Holy Spirit He confirmed that He was the Messiah. The Dan.9:27 "
middle of the week" is 29AD, as follows; 26, 27, 28,
29, 30, 31, 32.
The four years of His public ministry are mostly confirmed in the Gospel of John; Joh.2:13/ Joh.5:1?/ Joh.6:4/ Joh.11:55.
I here again show that the middle of Daniel’s 70th week is 29AD, because “
in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering”, Dan.9:27, as the forgiveness of sin was then shown to be according to a different method. That is, forgiveness is by the power of the Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ, which power Jesus personally demonstrated, when He verbally forgave sins, Mat.9:6, in 29AD. Forgiveness is a part of Christian salvation, by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit. The new dispensation of the Holy Spirit began with Nisan in 29AD, as I have again shown 29AD to be the year that was the middle of Daniel’s 70th week.
Gabriel’s prophecy about Daniel’s 70 weeks is according to the Jewish ecclesiastic (religious) calendar, which begins with the month of Nisan. So, “
the middle of the week” is the year 29AD, but it is according to the Jewish religious calendar. The new year for the Jewish religious calendar begins with the month of Nisan.
So, we have narrowed down the time period for the beginning of the Piscean Age/ New Heavens and Earth, by determining the time period in which Jesus confirmed that He was the Messiah of the new covenant. The time period is from Nisan 1st to Nisan 14th of 29AD. That is, from Monday April 4, to Sunday April 17, of 29AD.
There were two Sabbaths during that period of time, on April 9th, and on April 16th. Jesus read from the scroll of Isaiah in Nazareth on one of these Sabbaths. It was not the 16th,as that would not allow enough time to go to Capernaum for a few days, and then to Jerusalem. So, Jesus spoke at the Nazareth synagogue on Saturday, April 9, 29AD.
We may now begin to put together an itinerary for Monday 4/4/29-Sunday 4/17/29.
1) Bethabara beyond the Jordan: ?
2) The Wilderness Temptation: ?
3) Cana: “on the third day”, Joh.2:1, after Saturday 4/2/29; that is Tuesday 4/5/29, the wedding at Cana.
4) Nazareth: Saturday 4/9/29: Jesus speaks at the synagogue in Nazareth, on the Great Sabbath.
5) Capernaum: only a few days, Joh.2:12
6) Jerusalem: Passover Day, Sunday 4/17/29
This leaves only the events at 1) Bethabara and 2) the wilderness to account for. These events are chronicled by John, as there are 4 days which he mentions; Joh.1:19/ Joh.1:29/ Joh.1:35/ and Joh.1:43. Though John doesn’t specifically mention the baptism of Jesus, it is clear from the congruent aspects of the account from the synoptic gospels that His baptism took place on the second mentioned day, Joh.1:29.
On the last mentioned day, it’s clear that Jesus intended to travel to Galilee, Joh.1:43, and after speaking to Nathaniel of Cana, Joh.21:2, Jesus went to a wedding in the town of Cana, in the region of Galilee. The wedding was on 4/5/29, and so, the 4th mentioned day, Joh.1:43, was a travel day, on 4/4/29. That was when the Temptation of Christ in the Wilderness took place. The 3rd mentioned day, Joh.1:35, was when the first 2 disciples followed Jesus, which was on 4/3/29. That leaves the 2nd mentioned day, Joh.1:29, which was when John the Baptist first recognized Jesus as “the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world”, which parallels the synoptic gospels concerning His baptism. Therefore, the baptism of Jesus, and the descent of the Holy Spirit upon Jesus, occurred on the Sabbath which was 3 days before the Cana wedding, Joh.2:1, on Saturday April 2, 29AD.
