Why I can't believe in rapture theory

Hi Randy, can you give us the scriptures for all that you said here, Ty
Rev 13:5; Rev 11:2 ; Rev 11:3, Rev 9; Rev 16:15 SO basically Rev 13, Rev 9, Rev 11 and Rev16 which are the judgments that plunge the beasts kingdom into darkness and ends with the great battle of God almighty

But from the killing of the two witnesses until the lord who destroys the beast at His coming it will be less than 4 years.
Randy please do not be rude as I did read those scriptures you gave. You asked me what I thought it was to be desolate and I gave you my answer in post #159.

I have a question for you. How do you arrive at less then four years in your statement?

Zechariah 4:1-6; 4:11-14 explains that these two witnesses are the word of God in all power and might and the Holy Spirit which is the oil that is poured out on those who God anoints with His Holy Spirit. There are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit that are one and three that bear witness in earth as being the Holy Spirit, the word and the blood of Jesus and these three agree in one, 1 John 5:7, 8. Only God can give power to act on His word as the Holy Spirit and Jesus bare witness to Gods power and authority especially through signs and wonders.
The two witnesses is another topic of discussion that is very extensive. Maybe when I have time I will make a new thread on that.

Why do you think I would be rude? IF the beasts reign is 42 months REV 13 and That beast kills the two witnesses and is inturn destroyed by the lords coming then the timing has to be less than 4 years as that exceeds how long God will allow the great tribulation(reign of the beast) to trample the earth down. God cut short those days if not no one would survive. Since the two witnesses are killed by the beast than at that point in time the beast is in the world. And again that beast will only be allowed a 42 month reign by God before The lords return to put an end to the tribulation and usher in the new age of peace and healing of the nations. 1000 years later satan who was bound will be let loose again to deceive the nations into attacking Jesus (who is ruling on earth over all nations with the saints) Fire comes down from heaven and consumes those nations. Then the dead who suffer are resurrected before the great throne judgment for sentencing and thrown into the lake of fire along with death, AT that point there will no longer be any death. The new jerusalem will come down from heaven as well as the Father and jesus (according to paul) will hand the reigns back over to God. And Gods place will be with mankind.

God speaks to us in scripture of a 3 1/2 year tribulation during the time of the seven trumpets, not a seven year tribulation, as being time, times and half time which equals 1260 days = 3 ½ years or 3 ½ Times – Hebrew calendar only had 30 days for each month and this is where you get 1260 days or 3 ½ years.
[Scripture reference]
Revelation 12:14; Daniel 7:25; Daniel 12:7
1260 days – Revelation 11:3; Revelation 12:6
42 months – Revelation 11:2; Revelation 13:5

Tribulation has never been divided in sections and no where in scripture does it define any seven years as scripture say we will always have tribulations, Deut 4:30; 7:19; 29:1-6; 1Samuel 26:24; Matthew; John 16:33; Romans 12:12; 24:21; James 1:2; 1Peter 1:6.

From the sounding of the first to the seventh trumpet are called woes to the inhabiters of the earth, Rev 8:13. as the Church will go through much tribulation, but we are not to fear that which must come first before Christ return, Matthew 10:28.

The beast rises up out of the sea as the sea here is symbolic of people and nations as in a sea of humanity, Daniel Chapter 7:1-8; Revelation 17:15. The seven heads are that of the Babylonian Empire, Medo/Persian Empire and Grecian Empire and Roman Empire. The ten horns represent the nations the Roman Empire scattered to when the deadly wound was put upon them, Daniel 7:23-25.

These ten nations were the Anglo-Saxons (English), the Franks (French), Suevi (Portuguese), Visigoths (Spanish), Burgundians (Swiss), Alemanni (Germans), Lombards (Italians), Ostrogoths, Heruli, and the Vandals in northern Africa. The last three being Ostrogoths, Heruli, and the Vandals had already been destroyed by the Roman Empire before their deadly wound came in 1798.

The beast out of the earth, Rev 13:11-18, is the revived Roman Empire which causes man to take its mark, Daniel 7:24, 25 and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, He will think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

Nevertheless the beast is in the world at the completion of the 1260 days of testimony in rev 11 as its the beast who is finally able to overcome and kill the two witnesses who are preaching from Jerusalem. That beasts reign is only 42 months. And that beast is killed or destroyed by Jesus and the armies of heaven that follow him. So From the killing of the two witnesses until the Lord returns (2nd coming) it has to be less than 4 years. So then rev 11 is a sign given that can't be mistaken.

The beasts that rises out of the sea is the angel of the abyss currently imprisioned until the sounding of the 5th trump call of God. The beast that comes out of the earth is of mankind and acts inbehalf of the angel of the abyss. A false prophet who demand all rich and poor to worship the image of the beast. The man of lawlessness in 2 these 2. All this is being allowed by God because man did not repent and turn from their evil ways so God will give them over to be deceived by the beast.

I've already gave you who the beast out of the sea and the beast out of the earth are so I will not give that again. The beast out of the bottomless pit in Rev 11 is the same beast in Rev 13 who rises from the sea and gives power to the beast out of the earth. They will persecute and put to death the two witnesses who are the word of God and His Holy Spirit that dwells in those who testify of Christ in every nation. Even now these two beast (Luciferian political, economic and religious system) are working in many nations, but a greater scale of persecutions are coming before the Lord returns and cast the beast and false prophet into the lake of fire, Rev 19.

The first three and a half years begin with the opening of the seventh seal and the last three and a half beginning with the seventh trumpet as this explains the seven year tribulation that Jesus mentions in Matthew 24:21 as being the worst tribulation there has ever been nor will ever be again.

During this time once again the Roman Empire will take control of the temple mount in Jerusalem as a New World Order is even now being set up that will be one single world government of economic, political and religious power. They will bring back the sacrifices in the last part of the three and a half years or at the end of Daniels seventy week vision in Daniel chapter 9.

This sacrifice they make is not the sacrifice for the forgiveness of sin, but will be a sacrifice in that of persecuting Christians to death as they refuse to bow down to this Nebuchadnezzar type system. It’s like that of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in Daniel Chapter 3 as they refused to bow down and worship the idols of Baal and God rescued them from the fire. The fulfillment of the times of the Gentile is that of the Gentiles that will not repent as they fulfill the prophecy of the beast and the false prophet that are thrown into the lake of fire with Satan at Gods final judgment.

So what is your objection to everything I post???

Matthew 24English Standard Version (ESV)
Jesus Foretells Destruction of the Temple

24 Jesus left the temple and was going away, when his disciples came to point out to him the buildings of the temple. 2 But he answered them, “You see all these, do you not? Truly, I say to you, there will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.”
Signs of the End of the Age

3 As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” 4 And Jesus answered them, “See that no one leads you astray. 5 For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray. 6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.

9 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name's sake. 10 And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. 11 And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. 12 And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But the one who endures to the end will be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
The Abomination of Desolation

15 “So when you see the abomination of desolation spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand), 16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17 Let the one who is on the housetop not go down to take what is in his house, 18 and let the one who is in the field not turn back to take his cloak. 19 And alas for women who are pregnant and for those who are nursing infants in those days! 20 Pray that your flight may not be in winter or on a Sabbath. 21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be. 22 And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short. 23 Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. 24 For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you beforehand. 26 So, if they say to you, ‘Look, he is in the wilderness,’ do not go out. If they say, ‘Look, he is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. 27 For as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 28 Wherever the corpse is, there the vultures will gather.
The Coming of the Son of Man

29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
The Lesson of the Fig Tree

32 “From the fig tree learn its lesson: as soon as its branch becomes tender and puts out its leaves, you know that summer is near. 33 So also, when you see all these things, you know that he is near, at the very gates. 34 Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. 35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.
No One Knows That Day and Hour

36 “But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only. 37 For as were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, 39 and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 40 Then two men will be in the field; one will be taken and one left. 41 Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and one left. 42 Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming. 43 But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what part of the night the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and would not have let his house be broken into. 44 Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

45 “Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his master has set over his household, to give them their food at the proper time? 46 Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes. 47 Truly, I say to you, he will set him over all his possessions. 48 But if that wicked servant says to himself, ‘My master is delayed,’ 49 and begins to beat his fellow servants and eats and drinks with drunkards, 50 the master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not know 51 and will cut him in pieces and put him with the hypocrites. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

As I stated REV11 is a sign that can't be mistaken. 1260 days in jerusalem and the two are killed and refused burial and God raises them back to life as the whole world looks on. That can't be mistaken. THE beast is then revealed in the world and HIs reign of destruction is 42 months. Applying names such as rome and other things not found in scripture is doubtful.
Randy

The beast that rises out of the sea is as described in REV a angel. And God doesn't imprision the angels that remained faithful to Him. A being who once was then wasn't then will be again for a short while 42 months. and is called a name that means destroyer. The false prophet is a man who acts in behalf of the angel of the abyss. The beast that comes out of the earth. BOTH are put down by Jesus (not human power) and are at that time thrown into the lake of fire. Satan however is bound for a 1000 years so He can't mislead the nations anymore. then is released for a short time and gathers the nations against Gods camp or Jesus and the saints. Gog and maggog They are destroyed by fire from heaven by GOD. then the new jerusalem comes downs from heaven then those who suffer are raised before the throne for sentencing and every name not found written in th book of life from the creation of the world is thrown into the lake of fire. After that point there will be no more death. And GOD will come down and dwell with mankind.

Randy, I do not object to everything you post, just certain things I do not agree with. Like who the two beast represent and who the two witnesses are. I believe the events from the sounding of the seventh trumpet in Rev 11:15 where the Kingdoms of this world become the Kingdoms of the Lord clear through that of Christ return after the seven vial judgements and mystery Babylon is exposed and destroyed will come quicker than we think.

I also believe from the sounding of the seventh trumpet is the beginning of the 42 months (1260 days) that includes everything from Rev Chapter 11-19 ending with the beast and false prophet being cast into the lake of fire and the remnant being all those who have bowed down and worshipped the beast taking its mark in Rev 19 puts an end to all abominations in the world or in other words Jesus makes an end to all sin.

Because of the ToS I can not get into the Rome explanation other than saying history does repeat itself. You said the beast out of the sea is described in Rev is an angel. Are you referencing Rev 9:1-12 as this angel is Apollyon who is king over the bottomless pit that was given the key meaning Gods authority and power was given him to open the pit and gives these angels that are transformed into locust their authority to go forth and torment men for five months. Apollyon means destroyer in Greek and destruction in Hebrew as he is known as Abaddon in Hebrew. He is an angel of God that He uses throughout the OT and here in vs. 1, 11 to bring about Gods commands when it comes to the destruction of people of disobedience, Exodus 12:23; 2Kings 6:14-18; Proverbs 15:11, 12; Jeremiah 4:7; Daniel 10:13; 1 Corinthians 10:10.

I believe the beast that rises out of the bottomless pit in Rev 11:7 is the same beast that rises out of the earth in Rev 13:11 as this is all part of the 42 months. The rest of what you said I can agree with.

........................................................................................................................................................................

Not true,it will actually be 3 1/2 days

Revelation 11:11 "And after three days and an half the spirit [breath] of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them."

Revelation 11:12 "And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them."

Revelation 11:13 "And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven."

Revelation 11:14 "The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly."

Remember that the first woe was the coming to earth of Satan, also called "Abaddon" in the Hebrew, and "Apollyon" in the Greek, with all his locust army to seduce the entire earth. This is what was taught in chapter nine. The first woe ended with their massive appearance on the earth that would cause the peoples of the earth to worship Satan as the Christ.

Revelation 11:15 "And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of Our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever."

Yes scripture calls this beast an angel.
The scriptures state angel and GOD doesn't imprision angels unless they sinned against Him. This angel once was then was not and will be again for a short time. This angel will curse God unlike other angels who remained faithful to GOD and obey GOD even if it means being a sword of punishment.

But from the killing of the two witnesses until the lord who destroys the beast at His coming it will be less than 4 years.

I think the beast has been granted 42 months. Even so 3-1/2 days is less than 4 years (smile)

No, the angel in Rev 9:1-12 is not a beast, but an angel sent by God as I explained in post #172. The beast in Rev 11:7 and Rev 13 are the same beast who will silence the testimony of God by killing those who go from nation to nation witnessing Christ to whoever have ears to hear.

Hi,

Thanks for sharing.

What is the main point you are wanting to share?

Thanks, JLB
It was my intention that the scripture would speak for itself in answering the doubt concerning the rapture as denoted in the OP. Rapture is not a theory, it is a scriptural fact. I hope that assists your understanding.
Blessings,

Blessings,
