Addy's Attic

Wait a minute...this isn't imaginary, I'll have you know. For instance, people can get their feelings hurt just like anywhere else. Which is normal...if you catch my drift! You're never going to let this one go, are you! Lol

You have me confused.

Your play on my name. Why do I keep reminding you? Lol
I only did that twice.... or was it three times??? I am trying to forget.. but honestly... when I spell Norman... I want
to say normal... so it's a typo of sorts but probably because you're the first Norman I know... LOL...
I am a fast typer... and just like auto spell... some times my fingers type faster than my brain works.

Good morning Norman...

I hope you had a good sleep and that NO bugs came visiting you in your dreams. I don't like it when you dream of bugs because.....well..... you get grumpy... Anyways... not judging you or anything like that... It's just something I have noticed in passing.

I am having a very sad morning because something happened and I don't know what to do about it.

My old frying pan has DIED.... I knew it was not doing well because it was not looking good... but last night it finally failed. It was one of those NON stick ones... and over the years...the coating has come off... leaving behind a rusty look.. ( which I'm sure you know is NOT the look that cookware should be going for ). Anyways... this is why I bought my new one ( whom I have named Brock ).

All the above to say... NOW... I am not so sure of how I should dispose of it's body. Before I named all my cookware... I would just have thrown the old guy in the garbage... but somehow... now... it seems a bit cruel.... and I do NOT want to be accused of being DISRESPECTFUL. Another dilemma is should I give it a name... now that it is dead? This is really falling heavy on my heart and causing me some stress.

Perhaps you have experienced in this kind of thing???

Please be nice to me today... as I am in mourning.... I don't have anything black to wear so I am wearing blue.

Looking forward to hearing any words of wisdom from you Norman... as I know you are older than me.

Just so everyone knows that I do have a serious side.

For the last 7 years... I have been scribing and emailing my best friend who lives 7 hours from me... daily devotionals.
We started this journey when I first moved up north to where I am living now... The series is called Jesus Calling by Sarah Young... These words have come to life for me over the years.... and brought me much needed comfort.

The writings read as though God is speaking directly to me... ( and please... don't anyone mess this up by suggesting that this is a demonic practice.... I've heard it all....). She always includes scripture to back up what she has said.
This was the reading for today from Jesus Lives.

MY FOLLOWERS MUST GO THROUGH MANY HARDSHIPS. Nonetheless, the gospel is amazingly good news, because My death as your substitute paid the full penalty for all your sins! At conversion, you began a new life: one that is both an adventure and a Love-story. Adventure tales are never about predictable, easy situations. They invariably contain conflicts, adversity, defeats, and triumphs. Before I died, I warned My disciples about the tribulation, trials, distress, and frustration they would have in this world. Then I immediately reassured them: I have overcome the world; I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you. In Me you are victorious!

Your new life is not only an adventure but also a Love-story. As you journey toward heaven, your eternal Lover never leaves your side. I share both your good times and your struggles. I embrace you in My everlasting arms, helping you extract good from adversity. I devise creative ways to reveal Myself to you, and I rejoice when you are attentive. While using My future-knowledge to prepare you for what is ahead, I train you to enjoy My Presence in the present. When you are struggling deeply, I offer you My Peace. At the end of your journey, you will be able to look back and see that hardships shared with Me are radiant treasures---full of Love and Glory.

Hidden In Him Dave Hogan speaks tonight and tomorrow night. I've looked forward to this for a long time. Can't wait to hear what this man preaches! I expect it will be powerful/encouraging to hear!

I bought some mustard seeds. He prays over things people bring and miracles have taken place from them. So I was going to give some out, keep one as a reminder of how powerful faith can be.

I've told a few people, but they seem to be taken back, leery when I tell them he has raised the dead before. People come all over to hear him speak. So excited!

Dear Norman... Would you please stop liking my posts and minister to my grieving disposition regarding
my beloved frying pan who has just passed away. THANK you!

I hope it's good. :) Pray the Spirit falls on the service. Then you'll likely see some interesting things happen.

That is okay though. Even though I sing for God and have eyes closed anyway, still a bit nervous all those eyes watching during praise and worship. Pastor said there were around 500 when he came 5 years ago.

Is this happening at your home church??

Yeh :) Tonight and tomorrow. I'm really a Jesus fan, but heard some of his testimony and great things about him. His ministries have hundreds of churches. They go into these indigenous villages and preach Christ to them. There is some awesome things happening down south.

Get in the Glory Cloud, you big chicken!
