Angels Do Not Have Sex

I pray this will break the present light hearted Tom-Foolery and will get the minds that are presently being led by Satan back onto the subject at hand. Matt. 22:30 is the address for those foolish enough to ignore God's warnings against doing just that.

Lewis, if the avatar is you, just as mine is of me singing the old pentecostal hymn, We Shall See The King. Assuming it is you. you're a wise young man, I like that. It does not mean we will or must always agree so feel free to sharpen my sword on yours, brother of mine.

Now, in this passage we find that a man will not know his wife, Jesus language for no Hanky Panky after hours. (I really need to get that dying old carcass off my back and stop sinning.) We will not only rule the angels, we will be as they are. Ängels do not need to number one and they do not have sex with one another, what a filthy idea you guys have refused, thus far to publish, but how can any person that has an Eighth Grade or better Education, possibly not see the logical extension down to this perversion.

This is one of the nastier types of discussion a Christian can engage in but I will teach the truth that you will gain no favor in heaven for not believing the scriptures as unquestionable truth. Having, in the past, actively sought after the nastiest of the Lost, I am familiar with discussions falling to this level but you gents claim to follow and to be the Bond Slaves of Jesus, the Christ.

I have the authority given me by my LORD and so it is I plead with you, sin no more.
Amen brother

Angels in heaven in the realm of Spirit are not flesh and blood, however they have the ability to manifest in this natural realm and appear as men.

Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels. Hebrews 13:2

How could someone possibly encounter and unwittingly entertain an angel unless they look just like a normal man?

Angels appeared as men at times in the Bible.

4 Please let a little water be brought, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree. 5 And I will bring a morsel of bread, that you may refresh your hearts. After that you may pass by, inasmuch as you have come to your servant." They said, "Do as you have said." 6 So Abraham hurried into the tent to Sarah and said, "Quickly, make ready three measures of fine meal; knead it and make cakes." 7 And Abraham ran to the herd, took a tender and good calf, gave it to a young man, and he hastened to prepare it. 8 So he took butter and milk and the calf which he had prepared, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree as they ate. Genesis 18:4-8

To the pure, all things are pure!

If this discussion is nasty to you, then I suggest to you, in love, that you disconnect from the discussion.

For whatever is not from faith is sin.

If you can not answer with scripture the questions I have put before you, then please find another thread to discuss.

  • Sons of men can not begat a son of God.
  • The term son of God is a reference to a being that God creates of begats Himself.
Flesh gives birth to flesh, The Spirit gives birth to spirit.

  • The sons of God were unaffected by the flood and continued after the flood to produce Nephilim.
There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.
Genesis 6:4

Did you ever honestly consider how the Giants [Nephilim] continued after the flood if those that produced them were human?

  • The New Testament writers refer to them as angels and or spirits.
  1. For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit, by whom also He went and preached to the spirits in prison, who formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water. 1 Peter 3:18-20
  2. 4 For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment; 5 and did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly; 2 Peter 2:4-5
  3. And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day; as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.Jude 6-7

Guys and girls. Let's get real here. Is anyone here of the belief that Earth was Satan's kingdom (at least) from Genesis 3 at least until the cross? He may still be ruling but has lost his power.

If you are with me so far, remember when God says that there will be enmity between the serpent's seed and the woman's seed?

And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel Gen 3:15

I don't know what this means to you, but here is what I see. Look at this set of verses from Jesus:
Jesus presented another parable to them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field. 25 But while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went away. 26 But when the wheat sprouted and bore grain, then the tares became evident also. 27 The slaves of the landowner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’ 28 And he said to them, ‘An enemy has done this!’ The slaves *said to him, ‘Do you want us, then, to go and gather them up?’ 29 But he *said, ‘No; for while you are gathering up the tares, you may uproot the wheat with them. 30 Allow both to grow together until the harvest; and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather up the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them up; but gather the wheat into my barn.”’” Matt 13:24-30

This may seem far-fetched to some, but I believe Jesus is talking about Gen 3:15. The man's "good" seed was the woman's seed. Jesus tells us this and more in the following verses so you will see what I am saying.

Then He left the crowds and went into the house. And His disciples came to Him and said, “Explain to us the parable of the tares of the field.” 37 And He said, “The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man, 38 and the field is the world; and as for the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom; and the tares are the sons of the evil one; 39 and the enemy who sowed them is the devil, and the harvest is the end of the age; and the reapers are angels. 40 So just as the tares are gathered up and burned with fire, so shall it be at the end of the age. Matt 13:36-40

Do you see what is going on here? Jesus is explaining what happened back in Genesis! There are TWO kingdoms in the World at the same time. One is the "son's of the kingdom" who are the good seed or the "woman's seed" and the other "tares" are the sons of the evil one or the serpent. Now, you can see why they are AGAINST each other too. God put enmity between the seed of the serpent (tares) and the seed of the woman (good seed). Now, if you are with me so far, now we can begin to follow Genesis all the way up to the flood and see that there are really two kingdoms growing side by side. One of them is the "dark" SPIRITUAL kingdom led by Satan and his angels who are the darkened or fallen "sons of God" and the other kingdom are righteous men who are the good seed.

Many times when we hear stories in these early chapters of Genesis it is actually a spiritual story of a fallen angel inhabiting a man's soul and not a physical man. It sounds like they are talking about a physical man, but they are really talking about a spiritual fallen man in the realm of the spirit. Did you ever wonder why there were so many "sheep-shearers" and "sheep-hearders"? This isn't a coincidence? These are fallen angels under Satan's authority who are charged with "prepping" a person for faith - you know all the tough times you went through before you believed. This spiritual dark side is the "tares" or the dark spiritual kingdom of Earth where the Devil and his host of fallen angels rule. They do inhabit the souls of natural man and when they do, this is TRUE marriage which is SPIRITUAL in nature. True sex is spiritual as well and produces spiritual offspring.

For example, when Christ speaks through a believer the truth of the Gospel to an unbeliever and they are ready for new birth (which Christ knows), the very Words of Christ breath life in their heart and a new spiritual person is BORN! This is new birth into the Kingdom of God produced by the very Spirit of Christ via his good "seed". The actual union of Christ with your spirit and soul created an offspring. Do you see how this is real "marriage"? Now, do you see why Christ is called our "Husband" and we (soul and spirit) are called his "bride"? His spirit is "male" or dominant with the "seed" to reproduce (life) and our spirit and soul is "female" or subordinate. (Another example: Adam and Eve are ONE mankind like a marriage. Adam is the male "spirit" and Eve is the female or "soul"!) True "marriage" occurs when Christ quickens our dead "female" spirit and we become one with (or married to) him. Remember Romans 6 and 7 all this talk about "slaves of righteousness" and marriage in Romans 7? We are the wife and Christ is the husband. The Devil used to be lord or "father" or "husband" of our spirit and soul before we believed. (Crazy but true!) Until we "died with Christ" that is our "old man" of sin we were not free to marry another (Christ), but once we (our old dead spirit) died, we were free from the Devil and could then be married to Christ. Check out Romans 7, that is what Paul is really talking about. Our old man/person died and we can now marry Christ because we are spiritually free and no longer under the marriage obligation to sin (Satan)!

Now, once we are married to Christ, when he speaks words of "life" to an unbeliever through us, could that not be called "sex" because it produced a new "spiritual" offspring? I think it could, but it happens in the spiritual or TRUE realm. Much of what is going on in Genesis is really from the spiritual side of Earth and not from the physical side including most of the whole creation events themselves.

I am sure this sounds really crazy if you never heard this, but if you think about it and search the Word I believe you WILL find this to be true!

So, my belief is that Genesis 6:1 is NOT talking about anything physical. (My guess) It is talking about an angel or Demon inhabiting a soul of a man to produce other "offspring" or tares. The soul of a natural man is the female part ("daughter") of his spiritual being. His spirit is the male part. Thus, the "daughters of men" are souls that were created by fallen angels who inhabited the spirits and souls of natural unbelieving men and produced more spiritual offspring or "tares". I could be wrong about the "daughters of men" as I never specifically asked the Lord about it, but I am very confident about the things I wrote before this last paragraph. Dig into it now and see what you come up with. It is so exciting when God opens our eyes to the true realm of the spirit and away from the "distractions" of the natural, physical realm. Our natural human mind can't see these things and it can even get offended by them.

Once you see it, you can track the seed of the woman (good seed) and the seed of the serpent all the way past the flood.

God bless!

Yes! Noah's flood was a physical realm flood and not a spiritual realm flood. However, it was a POINTER or Type or "sign" of what God would do at the end of time in the SPIRITUAL REALM. When he returns he will FLOOD the dark, spiritual realm of "Earth" that Satan runs with his holy FIRE. It will not be a physical realm flood. He promised to NEVER do that again. He will destroy Babylon or Satan's entire spiritual Earthly kingdom including his fallen angels or "disobedient" sons of God. He will destroy the true "flesh" or "spiritual flesh" - the power of sin and death that is still in natural man's body.

Anything that is not inside the "Ark of Jesus" will be destroyed.

One such exploit is the alleged lost Biblical BOOK OF ENOCH, which teaches that fallen angels had physical intimacy with earthly women that produced offspring 450-feet tall? I don't think so! Without a doubt, the primary claim of the Book of Enoch is that fallen angels had sex with human women and produced 450-feet tall giants upon the earth. This teaching is ridiculous, unscriptural, and has no solid evidence to support it (Biblically or scientifically).

Hey there brother Lewis, lean down here brother. Yes Lewis, you, let me whisper a scripture in your ear brother. Praise the Lord, thank you brother. Ahem. unscriptural brother? as not in the scriptures that we use? I'm not talking the book of Enoch. Let me draw your attention to a scripture brother.

Amos 2:9
9 Yet destroyed I the Amorite before them, whose height was like the height of the cedars, and he was strong as the oaks; yet I destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath./(KJV)

Now to be honest and fair, I have no idea how tall ceders actually get, but I do know that it is tall. Um, if this is not scriptural support then I don't know what is. You do believe in the inerrant Word of GOD, don't you brother? I assume so.

Bless you brother. :)

Edward!

Look at you with your bad self.

Go on with your Amos 2:9 Brother!

Edward is the man!

Peace!!!

I googled it. I found info which says that some ceder trees grow up to 180 ft tall. Now this is not 450 ft, but on the other hand, unions between human men and women do not make offspring even this tall.

http://www.ehow.com/facts_7651527_tall-can-cedar-tree-grow.html

Btw, "Cedars" are a metaphor for the ruling portion of the Earthly spiritual kingdom. Lucifer/Satan was the tallest and most beautiful one and God calls him "Assyria". There is an awesome set of scripture where God tells of when he will "lop" off the top of the cedar and send it down to the place of the dead. The other "trees" were very happy! :) See Ezekiel 31. There are other parables where it tells how "happy" the other trees were once it was chopped down.

Thank you brother. :)

This is such a weird topic that I spent a little time researching it before, because I know (as has been stated) that other scriptures must support it and that something of this magnitude could not be received based on one scripture. For the record, I did not like what I found out about this, nevertheless, I had to slowly accept it because there are many scriptures which support it. I wont God a liar.

That sounds pretty deep brother. May I ask what you are basing the realization on that it is a metaphor?

I ask because I like to learn, and used to make things complicated and read stuff into scriptures, but have grown to take most of the bible literally now being as the Lord is not the author of confusion and the simplicity of Christ is a well known fact. To me, things started clicking into place for me once I began doing this. In parables, it is apparent that they are parables. I have done praying about this subject also and have never been given that it is anything other than the literal truth.

Sure... check this out. Ezekiel 31 NASB (I think verse 9 may tell us the truth of the "tree" that Adam and Eve ate the "fruit" of)

This tells a powerful story of Lucifer (I suspect) had a very powerful kingdom and ruled from Heaven itself. He became proud and arrogant and his "heart became haughty" (verse 10) and he was tossed out of the ruling realm of Heaven to the lower realm of Sheol (could simply be realm of "death" or Earth which is a lower and darker realm than Heaven). I truly believe this tells us of what will happen at the end of this age when Satan will finally lose his kingdom fully and Jesus (son of man/men) will crush him and all spiritual flesh (lies). This story is all over the OT in many parables and metaphors. In Daniel 7 his kingdom is crushed and split up into smaller kingdoms. Look in the first few verses in Dan 7 where the beast had "wings like an Eagle" (mighty high ruling power) but his wings were plucked (lost his high rule) and cast to the ground (lower realm of Earth) and made to stand on two feet like a man. This is where he overtakes Adam and Eve and starts his own kingdom on Earth. Of course, this is all my opinion based on hundreds of hours of study and journaling alone. No, I don't have much of a life but I LOVE GOD'S Word! :) God bless.

In the eleventh year, in the third month, on the first of the month, the word of the Lord came to me saying, 2 “Son of man, say to Pharaoh king of Egypt and to his hordes,
‘Whom are you like in your greatness?
3 ‘Behold, Assyria was a cedar in Lebanon
With beautiful branches and forest shade,
And very high,
And its top was among the clouds.
4 ‘The waters made it grow, the deep made it high.
With its rivers it continually extended all around its planting place,
And sent out its channels to all the trees of the field.
5 ‘Therefore its height was loftier than all the trees of the field
And its boughs became many and its branches long
Because of many waters as it spread them out.
6 ‘All the birds of the heavens nested in its boughs,
And under its branches all the beasts of the field gave birth,
And all great nations lived under its shade.
7 ‘So it was beautiful in its greatness, in the length of its branches;
For its roots extended to many waters.
8 ‘The cedars in God’s garden could not match it;
The cypresses could not compare with its boughs,
And the plane trees could not match its branches.
No tree in God’s garden could compare with it in its beauty.
9 ‘I made it beautiful with the multitude of its branches,
And all the trees of Eden, which were in the garden of God, were jealous of it.

10 ‘Therefore thus says the Lord God, “Because it is high in stature and has set its top among the clouds, and its heart is haughty in its loftiness, 11 therefore I will give it into the hand of a despot of the nations; he will thoroughly deal with it. According to its wickedness I have driven it away. 12 Alien tyrants of the nations have cut it down and left it; on the mountains and in all the valleys its branches have fallen and its boughs have been broken in all the ravines of the land. And all the peoples of the earth have gone down from its shade and left it. 13 On its ruin all the birds of the heavens will dwell, and all the beasts of the field will be on its fallen branches 14 so that all the trees by the waters may not be exalted in their stature, nor set their top among the clouds, nor their well-watered mighty ones stand erect in their height. For they have all been given over to death, to the earth beneath, among the sons of men, with those who go down to the pit.”

15 ‘Thus says the Lord God, “On the day when it went down to Sheol I caused lamentations; I closed the deep over it and held back its rivers. And its many waters were stopped up, and I made Lebanon mourn for it, and all the trees of the field wilted away on account of it. 16 I made the nations quake at the sound of its fall when I made it go down to Sheol with those who go down to the pit; and all the well-watered trees of Eden, the choicest and best of Lebanon, were comforted in the earth beneath. 17 They also went down with it to Sheol to those who were slain by the sword; and those who were its strength lived under its shade among the nations.

18 “To which among the trees of Eden are you thus equal in glory and greatness? Yet you will be brought down with the trees of Eden to the earth beneath; you will lie in the midst of the uncircumcised, with those who were slain by the sword. So is Pharaoh and all his hordes!”’ declares the Lord God.”

Over spiritualizing the text is not a good thing and leads to all sorts of error.

A metaphor, not a parable.
The Amorites were real very tall and very large warrior people. But the real size was more like this...

Deu 3:11 For only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of giants; behold, his bedstead was a bedstead of iron; is it not in Rabbath of the children of Ammon? nine cubits was the length thereof, and four cubits the breadth of it, after the cubit of a man.

So is Pharaoh and all his hordes!”’ declares the Lord God.”

Whoa. Ask and ye shall receive, eh brother?! Scripture too, I respect that. I have read it twice and feel as if I should meditate on this some and run it through e-sword also. I'll get back to you on this brother. Thanks. :)

Over spiritualizing the text is not a good thing and leads to all sorts of error.

Do you think it's possible to make God too big? Verses such as this one convince me this is not possible. No matter how big I dream, he is still infinitely BIGGER!

Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us Eph 3:20

I'd agree if someone said we can see God too small and only read the Word with the natural, carnal mind of man. I am sure I am definitely guilty of that one on occasion.

Kicked

Forgive me brother, but I am unclear on your meaning here. Do you mean reading the bible too literally, or too much looking for euphemisms/parables and so forth?

A metaphor, not a parable.
The Amorites were real very tall and very large warrior people. But the real size was more like this...

Deu 3:11 For only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of giants; behold, his bedstead was a bedstead of iron; is it not in Rabbath of the children of Ammon? nine cubits was the length thereof, and four cubits the breadth of it, after the cubit of a man.

13.5 ft tall and 6 ft wide? That Og was big. Did you happen to watch that video I posted of It's Supernatural where Chuck Missler was interviewed? He made the point that the areas which the Giants were not destroyed (he lists them and shows a map) by Gods people back then, just happen to be the very same areas which are still under dispute today in Israel. The Golan Heights, the Westbank, and two other areas which names escape me at the moment. Interesting coincidence there and perhaps (perhaps!) significant to tie in with the phrase..."and also after that" in genesis 6:4

I agree with you here brother and am myself guilty of the same. I have at times thought that I had done something which I certainly not could be forgiven for. Ha! (not a blank check to sin of course), but, the Lords love (and longsuffering!) is unfathomable I have come to believe. As long as we get back up, turn our hearts back to Him and repent of our misdeeds, he is faithful and just to forgive us.

Every single testimony that I have ever watched or read about where people had been taken up into the third heaven, or through a NDE or similar...they ALL say that being in the presence of God has an overwhelming sense of the greatest peace and love that they have ever felt, and they do not want to come back to earth after having experienced this amount of love within them. So, yes...thinking that God is too small is indeed the error.

I do not fear death anymore at all because of this realization. I'm uh, ready now, though aware and willing to stay because I know that there is work to be done for the Lord.

If you can not answer with scripture the questions I have put before you, then please find another thread to discuss.
JLB,
I am a faithful follower of the Christ, my Savior and though I often fail and must repent of it, still I push on. The comment made, directly to me, before the one I quote here and this one do not have their basis in scripture (Edited, ToS 2.4, personal insult. Obadiah). Lewis and I both have made the case for the truth (Edited, ToS 2.4, personal insult, belittling. Obadiah). You are not rebuking me, your issue is with God (Edited, ToS 2.4, personal insult, belittling. Obadiah)

Everybody here has the ability to follow God but it is a choice and it does involve Spiritual Warfare with Satan. I have stated more than once in these forums that I will engage anyone in a Christian conversation and that I will not, having failed in the past, be bullied into acting like Satan.
