The Lord is telling Daniel that the descendants of his people will be redeemed in the end of days. That is Israel, the Jews who were forcibly supressed in Israel, forced to conform to Islam by the evil Empire who conquered them and invented Islam in Petra that is part of their ten cities called Decapolis, and replaced the Jews with themselves called Orthodox Jews in what is now the Synagogue of Satan.

The Beast. It's a civilization that comprises seven nations that are the 7 heads of the Beast.
In short, it's the Greek peoples and their Macedonian Empire that conquered Israel.

They later split the Roman Empire and formed the Eastern Orthodox Church that rules over various nations today including Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, Balkans countries, ... etc. Those nations and others are in fact secretly part of their empire that has been hidden under various names throughout history such as the Byzantine Empire, Ottoman Empire, Latin Empire, ...etc.

However, Greece is not the whole of what their people is called and it goes back to the Sea Peoples who caused the Bronze Age collapse.

The closest you can get to being told directly who it is, is in Revelations 20: 7 and 8, that says:

"7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,​

8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea."​

Gog and Magog are the nations of the Dragon. Both the Beast and the Dragon have seven heads and ten horns; therefore the nations of the Beast are the nations of the Dragon. You can find the identities of Gog and Magog in Ezekiel 38 and 39.

Exactly, one of the most rudimentary biblical concepts is of an end times supreme ruler who will share his world power with no one.
Thus the whole business of magnifying himself because of his love of himself.
That has been Satan's whole deal from the start and that is how it ends .

What you say in your post above is in line with the prophecies, mainly of Daniel and Ezekiel. According my interpretation, Ezekiel prophesied of the manifestation of the Wicked Prince of Israel: Ezekiel 21:v.25 - And thou, profane wicked Prince of Israel, whose day is come, when iniquity shall have an end. (JESUS said: Matthew 24:v.12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.)
Ezekiel was a contemporary of Daniel, and Daniel also prophesied concerning the manifestation of this wicked Prince of Israel at this time of the END-it is written in Daniel 9:v.26.

I believe that the latest events in the world are signaling that the end of all things have arrived, it's now, in the current time, but the Devil will try by all means to avoid the destruction of his devilish/satanic world. But how? Manifesting himself as a messiah, as a lamb- a false lamb, course, representing two ancient kingdoms of Israel, two horns, symbols of power biblically speaking. By the way, the title of Messiah is the only one, yes, the only one that the Devil has not used for himself until this time.

We must have vision and not imagine that this ruthless messiah is yet to be born, no, we cannot imagine that way, this evil man was born decades ago, and is about to manifest soon, all current events in the world are aimed at the manifestation of a/the false messiah, a false lamb-Revelation 13:v.11-18.

I think that he -the wicked Prince of Israel- will be the head of the esoteric, and kabblistic, and spiritist Judaism, the main religion of Israel, and the main ruller of the nation.

From now on we have to be alert and prepare for a terrible battle against Satan disguised as messiah and his allies. Revelation 16:v.13-15

The Scriptures above remember something likeness the War between the house of Saul and the house of David; 2Samuel 3:1-> Now there was long War between the house of Saul and the house of David: but David waxed stronger and stronger, and the house of Saul waxed weaker and weaker.

By analogy, the War is now between the Devil X GOD, between the spirit of the Devil, the former Cherub and former ruler of Eden X the Spirit of GOD our Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
The Lord shall utter His voice before His army: for His camp is very great: for He is strong that executeth His Word(understand?): for the Day of the Lord is great and very terrible(that is the seventh and last Day, or seventh and last millennium); and who can abide it?Joel 2:11.

What is the deal with Michael & Satan locking horns over the corpse of Moses ?
And why did this dispute end with God burying the body of Moses Himself ?
For me this is one of the strangest incidents in scripture that undoubtedly has some meaning for the future but the is not another word spoken about the purpose of it .
For me it must have something to do with God coming full circle with the nation Israel .
Apparently Satan has some insight into what the future holds for the appearance of Moses .
Very curious to me that Satan could have knowledge of such specific detail, coming from the mind of God .

Jude 1:9
Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.
 
The incident seems to be lost to history, but the lesson is clear. Don't take it upon yourself to fight the Devil. We are sin-contaminated, just as he is. We take our prayers to Christ, who as a sinless man and a Divine man has the authority to deal with evil and the Devil. Our own pride is as bad as the pride of the Devil, although we do not have to either indulge it or own it.

My real question is what did Satan know about the future and how the body of moses was connected to it .
No person will ever know where Moses is buried, why is that so important in God's plan for the future?

Deuteronomy 34:5 So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD. 6 and he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Beth-peor: but no man knoweth of his sepulcher unto this day.

Rev 12:3 the other sign John saw was a great red dragon meaning Satan. Remember, this is a vision and a sign as Satan has not yet been cast out of heaven until the beginning of the 3 1/2 year tribulation. The description of the dragon being great and red depicts its nature and character as being fierce and murderous, John 8:44. This red dragon is depicted as having seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. This is also confirmed in Rev 17 as mystery Babylon is described. The seven heads and ten horns refer to the original ten kingdoms of which three were subdued by the little horn of Daniel 7:8. The last kingdom which stands greater than all the others is that of a revived Roman Empire that takes control over all the ten nations who then implements a deceiving peace treaty with the Muslims in which the Dome of the Rock will be given over to the son of perdition as he reigns from the very Temple mount of God. This is the abomination Jesus spoke of in Matthew 24:15, 16 that we are to flee from when we see the son of perdition take his seat in Jerusalem for 3 1/2 years.

Rev 13 the beast rises up out of the sea as the sea here is symbolic of people and nations as in a sea of humanity, Daniel Chapter 7:1-8; Revelation 17:15. This beast is a Luciferian system comprised of economic, political, militant, environmental and a false religious system. This beast system that Satan works through gives its power to the beast out of the earth as the beast out of the earth appears as the Lamb of God, but is a false Christ being the son of perdition, 2 Thessalonians 2:3-12 with two horns. The two horns represent the Old Roman Empire that received its deadly wound back in 1798 by General Berthier who made his entrance into Rome and abolished the Roman government and established a secular one. That caused them to scatter into the other ten nations (ten horns). The wound was healed in 1929 by Mussolini.

God speaks to us in scripture of a 3 1/2 year tribulation during the time of the seventh trumpet, not a seven year tribulation, as being time, times and half time which equals 1260 days = 3 1/2 years or 3 Times as the Hebrew calendar only had 30 days for each month and this is where you get 1260 days or 3 1/2 years.

No where in scripture does it mention a seven year tribulation, but only seven trumpets of God's fierce wrath as scripture says we will always have tribulations as the last time will be such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be, Matthew 24:21; Deut 4:30-31; 7:19; 29:1-6; 1 Samuel 26:24; Matthew; John 16:33; Romans 12:12; 24:21; James 1:2; 1 Peter 1:6.

The seven heads are that of the Babylonian Empire, Medo/Persian Empire, Grecian Empire and Roman Empire. The ten horns represent the nations the Roman Empire scattered to when the deadly wound was put upon them, Daniel 7:23-25; Rev 13:3. The deadly wound came in 1798 when General Berthier of France, who made his entrance into Rome, abolished the Roman government and established a secular one and captured Pope Pius VI, who soon died in captivity in Valence, on August 29, 1799. In 1801 Napoleon made an agreement with Pope Pius II establishing Napoleon s Organic Articles of granting the Tribunal and the Corps legislative partial control of the concordat in order to help the state monitor any politically harmful Catholic or Protestant movements or activities. The wound was largely healed in 1929 when Mussolini gave the Vatican back to Pope Pius XI and established it as a country in it's own right in the Lateran Treaty.

The Roman Empire began in 753BC by Romulus who founded Rome in 27BC with Augustus Caesar becoming the first emperor of Rome in 27 BC and died in 14AD. Rome controlled over two million square miles stretching from the Rhine River to Egypt and from Britain (England) to Asia Minor which made up the Grecian Empire of Greece, Turkey, Syria and Egypt. In 146BC the Romans destroyed Corinth during the Battle of Corinth and made the Greece Empire into a province of the Roman Empire. This timeline goes from 753BC to 27BC. Nero burned Rome in 64AD and blamed the Christian community in the city causing the Roman Empires first persecution of Christians. In 1453 was the rise of the Ottoman Empire that conquered Constantinople destroying the Byzantine Empire (Eastern Roman Empire) that reigned from 330AD to 1453AD. The Roman Empire was then called the Holy Roman Empire that was a political entity beginning in 800AD - 1806AD from the time of Charlemagne (Holy Roman Emperor) who protected Pope Leo III from Adrian's supporters in Rome to Francis II, King of France. Pope Pius VII was the Pope from 1800-1823. The Roman Empire is known today as Vatican City, a city-state surrounded by Rome and Italy who has diplomatic relations with every nation around the world.

The crowns on its heads show that this dragon claims royal authority against the true King who is God of all creation as he prepares to take his seat above all that which is Gods Kingdom claiming he is God as he prepares to deceive the world through that of an existing Roman Empire, Daniel 8:9-12; Isaiah 14:12-15.

The beast rises up out of the sea, Rev 13, as the sea here is symbolic of people and nations as in a sea of humanity, Daniel Chapter 7:1-8; Revelation 17:15. The seven heads are that of the Babylonian Empire, Medo/Persian Empire, Grecian Empire and Roman Empire. These ten nations were the Anglo-Saxons (Germans in Great Britain), the Franks (French), Suevi (Portuguese), Visigoths (Spanish), Burgundians (Swiss), Alemanni (Germans), Lombards (Italians), Ostrogoths, Heruli, and the Vandals in northern Africa. The last three being Ostrogoths, Heruli, and the Vandals had already been destroyed by the Roman Empire before their deadly wound came in 1798.

The beast out of the earth, Rev 13:11-18, is the revived Roman Empire (mystery Babylon) which causes man to take its mark. Daniel 7:25 and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, He will think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time, 2 Thessalonians 2:13-12.

These are my thoughts, but certainly not authoritative in any way. I'm just speculating.

1) Satan accuses all of God's saints, leaders with a great track record and the smallest Christian who regularly makes "mistakes." Moses figures prominently only because of his huge role in representing the Law.

The Law, in turn, presents a case against all men. Therefore, in going after Moses Satan is, in effect, trying to prohibit all men from allying with God forever. He is trying to disqualify all men from Eternal Life by showing that Moses, representing the Law, disqualifies men, whether they have good or bad works.

2) Moses was not buried because unlike Abraham, who was a patriarch, he was a prophet and major leader in the dispensations of God. As leader and dispenser of the Law he would've been given too much attention. Some would've worshiped him.

So he basically disappears from history, just as Enoch and Elijah did, both prophetic figures, as well. They were only the voice of God, and not God Himself. They didn't need a landmark to mark them as "God's voice."

But Abraham did not represent God's voice. He rather represented the inheritance of God's People, who are associated with his tradition, with both him and Israel, his direct progeny. And so, God gave him a landmark, a burial spot.

I would just add that Jesus was the voice of God, and a prophet, as well as the lead man in a new dispensation of Grace. And so, he was given a landmark as a burial spot, even though those who rejected him tried to disparage him and mark his burial place as more of a disposal state and the result of criminal prosecution.

We do worship him, and recognize at his place in history the means of Grace, in contrast to the Law, which condemned us. Like the Prophets who disappeared or went to God we look to Jesus in heaven, and no longer as being buried on earth. More than a landmark he is our present Salvation.

In what way does getting ahold of Moses rotting corpse help Satan in that effort ?
I do not get the connection you are making?
Are you saying Satan wanted to rattle a bag of Moses's bones in the face of people ?
