Hawking isn't well learned in philosophy but that didn't stop him declaring its death. As I said, Lennox doesn't dispute the science but what is derived from it especially his theological conclusions which are the same as you are trying to put forward. I'm just recommending you to watch it as you are recommending me to read Lawrence Kruass to understand the opposing view. Isn't that why you are here by your own admission?

You gave nothing but an opinion. I have seen sand used as INTENT in many things. Just this morning I had several loads of sandy fill used to fill in the the block wall of my new house foundation. Yes, it was intended and required by code here.
.......another one of those happens to be my satisfaction of it going through my toes at the beach. I intended to walk to the beach just for this purpose

Arguing never got anyone anything.... When God is ready to reveal himself to you He will. a conviction will be layed upon your heart.. If you are curious and questioning about religion then i suppose the Spirit is already moving in your life and in your heart.. Christianity when practised correctly is very liberating and fullfilling. some seem to think you loose all the fun in life but it truly is the very opposite. I have been given life through the Spirit and my life is now enriched by love and compassion and an all knowing security that I am loved. before I was saved my life was kaos.. I was selfish and self seeking. I lived for me alone. now i get great happyness from all the gifts of the Spirit of God and can do anything that I could never do before. It is an amazing transformation of the heart and mind. many people will say lots of things about Christianity but it is a relationship and an individual walk with God. we all have a different rate of change.. no two walks are the same and thats the beauty of it.. I hope this finds you well.. and I pray someday I can call you family in Christ.. God bless you in Jesus Name..

Don't pray for me. Prayer is one of the most disgusting things I hate about religion. It does nothing, but to make the person doing it happy.
If you really want me to believe, you will have present evidence, not "Since I can't think of one way the universe could be created, therefore an intelligent being must have." is not a good arugment. Not at all.
Present evidence, not speculations. Present good evidence, not God of the Gaps argument.
I expected better.
You like to do what makes you feel better/good... I think you said something to that effect in a earlier post. Prayer is just something you will have to put up with from Christians...

I can put up with it, but when it is used in a manner I dislike, which is what I protested against, it is something I disagree with.
Lets say I do come to Jesus, would she be responsible because she prayed for me?
I don't see it that way.

I can kinda see what you are saying here. A lot of "Christians" use "I'll pray for you" as a way of blowing off helping you and not feeling guilty about it.
After all, they did pray for you.
Unfortunately there are many like that in the churches.
The churches and the fellowship were never perfect. Read Rev 2 and 3, the 7 letters thing

As hard as things are, God has ordained things to be this way. It was God’s choice to make man; it was God’s choice to test man; it was God’s choice to preserve man; it was God’s choice that we are confronted by such rabid commercialism and liberalism, heresy, hypocrisy and confusion. This is the world God intended for us to be sieved by, as we are ground down on the threshing floor of life.
This process is used by God as a refining fire. The dross bubbles away at the surface, ready to be scooped off with a net; while the true gold compacts and concentrates through the heat. We are ultimately identified through this process, which is what God intends. We shouldn’t worry about what other people are doing; they are being tested just as much as you and I. Life identifies our metal. Confusion, heresy, lack of love, hypocrisy; it all just helps to identify which “camp” we belong to. God has made the entire universe this way; for everything is the Garden of Eden in symbolic form. Why does God make cannabis or poppies if we are not to enjoy? Why does God make snakes and spiders? All of these distractions represent the two trees in the garden; and the two trees represent the two paths, and two paths the two destinies. We need to be concerned for ourselves. Others who “blow you off” may not be doing too well in their test. Keep your eye on the prize, Paul says.

I've read this entire thread. It's just a never ending ping pong match between this guy and everyone else. Its obvious beyond belief that this guy thinks we're all beneath him and that he came here specifically to cause strife. I don't even understand why he is still talking on this forum except to generate frustration.

I don't think you guys are beneath me... In fact, some of you guys are smarter than me, I am not arrogant enough to even think that I am the best on here.
Way to go, Ma'am at saying you read this whole entire thing, but I doubt it. If you did, you would find that I explained why I am here MULTIPLE times, and it is not to cause strife, but to learn the truth.
