Ooops. That's Superman...
Wednesday in New England in every diner is meat loaf and mashed potatoes for lunch. It is much better to go to Dinner and to skip the nineteenth hole.
Oh, this is a Bible study?Good man, quoting scripture in a bible study.
Twinc, take note of Douglas Summers. Scripture, specific experiences, direct quotes from philosophers and educated men and women are substance. Vague conplaining is just as much fluff as vague joy. Eventually people want to know more then the vague and get into the substance.
You're asking me? A southern thru and thru hillbilly? Now if you want a great Bowl of Beans and Cornbread, I'll talk to ya!Wednesday in New England in every diner is meat loaf and mashed potatoes for lunch.
Which diner makes the best?
Don't forget the fried potato's.....good and crisp.....You're asking me? A southern thru and thru hillbilly? Now if you want a great Bowl of Beans and Cornbread, I'll talk to ya!
Oh, this is a Bible study?
How did Mighty Mouse and meatloaf come into this?
Me bad!!!
He tells us why He spoke in parables. (Matt. 13:10-18)
You now have the chance to put merrit to your words Twinc. You've put a bold but vague accusation in my direction. Give it something for me to glean from or it will confirm what I've already said, regarding that all your saying if fluff with no substance. In this case I do hope I am wrong.
FYI, as Christians we have only one master (not plural). Jesus of Nazareth, Son of God, Savior of the world. Socrates and other "masters" are nothing but fellow students in that light.
Forget my first question I asked before (that was not answered) asking how long you've been a Christian. After you give substance to your accusation at me (if you actually give substance and details, not fluff), after that please answer if you are Christian at all. Do you have faith in Jesus. Can we come with that came foundation, or can we come to you with the knowledge that you are not Christian? (There are some here that aren't Christian. I've enjoyed many of their posts and their insight. You do not have to hide behind an untruth if your faith is a false mask. You do have to be truthful though. Fluff will only get you so far in passing, and you've passed that point in conversations here.
This is your thread; time for you to do some 'splaining Lucy......unless you don't understand and are looking for knowledge but are too embarrassed to ask for help?it is easy enough to quote - but tell us what is meant especially at 13:12 - twinc
You know your cartoon characters really well. No, that's Mighty Mouse...
