Did God Chose you or did you chose God

Well, if you don't believe that all in the first Adam are under condemnation, then I can't help you. Death has passed upon all men as well... since then... this should be painfully obvious to anyone..

Did God condemn his son Adam or save him?

One of the fondest positions held in christianity is to condemn Adam (and or Eve etc etc.)

And the LORD has saved every last one of us in the first Adam.. for His grace is UNTO ALL and it is UPON ALL who believe.

Agreed. So again where was the 0% in that for Adam? It would appear it was always 100%, with a little disturbance from point A to point finality.

I'm not going in circles with you any more smaller.. why don't you just explain what Romans 5:18 means and Romans 5 in general.

Enjoy

1 Corinthians 15:22-23 "For as in Adam ALL die, even so in Christ ALL shall be made alive. But each one in his own order."

Asking a very very simple question here. IF God saved Adam (yes or no)

If YES, then the 0% claim would appear not to be the case. No circle required.

And I'm telling you smaller... plain and simple.. tell us what Romans 5:18 means... and trust me, I won't hold my breath.. lol

Did God save his son Adam?

I'm thinking there are many here that can't answer this simple question.

Can you?

If your answer is no, then you must see that God in fact LOST His son, Adam, permanently.

I don't find that credible myself.

Just as you evidently do not find Romans 5:18 credible... so I can't help you... lean on your own understanding.. it's obvious to me that this is what you do.

The question remains nevertheless. Did God save Adam?

If you don't know or can't tell, just say so.

enjoy smaller.. it's painfully obvious that you can't deal with the simple biblical facts of Romans 5..

So like I said.. I can't help you...

enjoy leaning on your own understanding here.

You don't know then if God saved His son Adam? This is your answer?

How about Moses? We know that Moses died before entering the promised land because of unbelief.

Did God save Moses?

?

in whom ye TRUSTED...

The holy scriptures also do not teach that we chose God... Paul teaches us that we first TRUSTED in Christ.. after HEARING the word of TRUTH, the GOSPEL of our salvation... and that AFTER we BELIEVED, we were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise which is the EARNEST of our inheritance unto the DAY OF REDEMPTION..

Unto the PRAISE OF HIS GLORY !

Romans 9:15
For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.

And isn't it wondrous to say the least that He has mercy upon us all.. and that He isnt far from any one of us...

All glory and praise be to the Lord Jesus Christ, the Last Adam.. in whom there is justification of life.

For the Father loveth the Son and hath given all things into His hand.

As an individual? Yes, God saved His son Adam. But spiritually speaking, it is the carnal, sinful "adamic nature" that will be destroyed within everyone. Looking at this "spiritually," there are only two "people" on this Earth - "the first Adam" and "the last Adam." A given person is in one or the other.

Again, as a person, of course. But spiritually speaking, Moses not entering the promised land was a parable; a "shadow" of a greater spiritual truth. Moses typifies "The Law." And the point is that "The Law of Moses" will NOT get you into "the promised land" (salvation). It is rather, only through Christ.

Since the cross of Christ.. The crossroad for every last one of us is simply this..

Seek to save your life and ye shall lose it.. lose it for HIM and the gospel and ye shall save it.. and if ANY MAN shall come after Him.. let him DENY HIMSELF, take up his cross, and follow HIM.

Gospel of God's Son 101...

Sometimes believers need to hear the gospel of God's Son just as much as unbelievers do...

Believers in general have various forms of funnel and tunnel vision when it comes to Gods Mercy. We all know or at least like to think we have received same and will continue in His Mercy for ourselves.

Titus 3:5
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost

Almost every form of funnel and tunnel vision tries to pinpoint salvation to 'grace' or 'faith' or 'our choice' or 'His choice' or 'mercy' or any number of various terms and understandings.

It might seem to some that these heavenly things do come from above and are in fact 'in us' to hold and to share.

And it may even seem that God Himself can unleash a TORRENT of same in any, to any, any time He pleases to do so.

And it may seem even further than in some, HE HAS.

Funnel and tunnel visions of Eternal Unendless matters that we expect to share in may not be beneficial in the hands of those who claim to have received same.

But of course these matters are always put to the test as well, to prove and to refine same. Some seem to be very very stingy, hiding what they have in their earth, in a napkin, so as to present their single talent to the Lord, for themselves, alone.

enjoy!

do you have a choice the the matter

this is a controversial subject

Hi Robert Hern,

The pride of man says, 'I chose God,' but to humble man, God informs us that, "I chose you..."

John 15:16

New King James Version (NKJV)

16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.

I think the qualifications that God uses in saving individuals should be left in the hands of His righteousness.

John 3:8

New King James Version (NKJV)

8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.â€

There are in fact numerous Scriptures indicating both God's sovereignty and human responsibility. Personally I shy away from rationalizing it all too much; just accepting that this is so.
