Divine Healing; Why some don’t get healed

Kuhlman was very much part of it and yes I have seen all that .

I can't blame the skeptics on that .I can't say it's solidly in the Bible either .I have not been led to do demonic things but the doctrine is therefore extra biblic cal.

I have laid hands and prayed and others received.

That‘s certainly up to you.

I posted the reason why those in Jesus’s home town weren’t healed.

Did you read that post.

Here it is again

Now it came to pass, when Jesus had finished these parables, that He departed from there. When He had come to His own country, He taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished and said, “Where did this Man get this wisdom and these mighty works? Is this not the carpenter’s son? Is not His mother called Mary? And His brothers James, Joses, Simon, and Judas? And His sisters, are they not all with us? Where then did this Man get all these things?” So they were offended at Him.
But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own country and in his own house.” Now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief. Matthew 13:53-58


Unbelief is why Jesus couldn’t do more for these people.

See the Spirit wont push such odd contradictions . He won't have Paul lay out the condition for an elder then say oh well woman can be elders.

He may have some things he does that are grayish in the Bible .but

Seriously you don't have healing services?

I have been to them sorry .I have never heard of any pentacostals church that doesn't have anointing oil and laying of hands and the terms slain and drunk in the spirit .

This is the Only type of pentacostal church types here.

Yes.
And in different ways.

One way would be to torment a person with worry that could have physical effects, like high blood pressure, etc.
Another way is the method by which satan causes worldly things to happen...for instance, if there's an earthquake he might cause some to be injured.

I mean we're talking about the spiritual world and we can only know so much.
In my humble opinion, all evil is caused by satan in one way or another.
It goes back to Genesis and the fall. Everything was affected.

What say you?

I replied to the above.
I mentioned Jairus' daughter also.

My point was that if unbelief is THE CAUSE of all non-healing...
what does that say of Christianity?

It says VERY FEW have this true faith or strong faith you feel is necessary for healing.
This would be sad because it would mean that not to many that claim to be Christian really have any faith at all.

are you willing to pick up a snake are you willing to drink posion how many demons have you cast out ?

I believe 18 and 19 were added.
Also, it's difficult to understand completely what was written.

However this same statement could be made about a person who was not faithful and had been extremely disobedient and therefore was given over to Satan so his flesh could be destroyed, in order that his soul would be saved.

I don’t believe this was the case with the man you spoke of, however the point I am making is we shouldn’t be so quick to assume God is allowing a great man or woman of God to suffer and die from a sickness because that is His will for them.

It is Gods will for mortal flesh to die. How we die not so much. Jesus came to give eternal life not heal all flesh.
 
I will add .as I don't think it felt led to say that all of pentacostalism are lost just that there is some weak scriptural support for some of what they do.

I won't pretend to understand why God allows such ways were we don't quite see the Bible verses clearly outside of the essentials and uses that like He does.
 
Let's talk about this verse .

Mark 16:18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Would you drink a deadly thing to test God ? Of course not ! But in everyday living could something poisonous pass your lips, yes it could .
A true story . A missionary and his family were off in the jungles of a foreign country . Where they lived the jungle was a few yards away in front of their house . And almost everyday they would see some of the natives in the edge of the jungle observing them and thought nothing of it as the missionary family went about their chores and drawing their water out of their well in the front yard . Finally the after a couple of weeks the natives came out of the jungle and talked to the family . The natives said the wanted to know more about the God the missionary family served because this was the true God !
The natives said , we know your God is the true God because He protected you, we have been putting poison in your well many times and all of you are still alive .

Prayer and laying on of hands .
My daughter had an abdominal problem that was going to require surgery . She was prayed for at church and the next day the problem was gone much to the doctor's surprise . My daughter had problems with seizures and many tests were run at one of the region's best hospitals, but they couldn't find the source of her seizures . After my daughter was prayed for at church the seizures never returned . These healings were both before my daughter was of school age .

Why isn't everyone healed ? I don't have that answer .

Again, this thread is about why some don’t get healed.

As I have said three times now, I am believing, standing on God’s word to be healed. While I am doing this, I thought I would make this thread to see if anyone else was needing healing or maybe wanted to tey and discover as a community, by the Spirit leading us, what could be standing in the way of my/our healing, from scripture.


Just because we attend a service where the anointing is for healing and we don’t get healed, doesn’t mean we stop and give up.

We can go to God ourselves and thank Him for what Jesus has done for us already, and claim our rightly blessing, by faith and continue to believe everyday, like widow and the unjust Judge.

Another words, go directly to Jesus, and do what Gd puts on our heart to do like the woman with the issue of blood, pressed in and touched the hem of His garment, or cry out to God, like blind Bartimaeus, and when some told him to stop and shut up, he continued, and continued until Jesus healed him.

Again, Jesus called this persistent coming to him and believing for his healing, is faith.


Then Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road.
Mark 10:52


Not everyone received healing the same way. Some He spit in the dirt and made it wet and rubbed it in the man’s eyes.

Others he laid hands on them.

Still others got there healing when they persisted.

One guy had his friends tear the roof off of the house and lower him down to get to Jesus.

Now that is persistence.
