Divine Healing; Why some don’t get healed

Shouldn’t we pattern ourselves with what the Church in the book of Acts did?

I agree there is much counterfeit manifestations of the Holy Spirit.

However, where there is the counterfeit, there is the authentic.


But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! 2 Timothy 3:1-5

I add white pentacistal services tend to be gasp quite ,low key versus the Hispanic and blacks loud ,long and exciting .

Worshipped in all three types .

I also submit that culturally white churches are more quiet ,even in non charismatic churches then the others .
 
And….

Overall the USA is becoming less healthy in part because of poorly regulated capitalism and pockets of deep poverty and extreme wealth. For profit health care with no guaranteed universal coverage plays a role too.

I skimmed a study…
Affluent people in the USA aren’t as healthy as their affluent peers overseas. Mental problems seem to plague all strata at a level not seen in many other nations.

Look I should post a map of the ridiculous pentacistal churches all with in a mile .

All teaching the same .

Where is being drunk in the spirit ,slain in the spirit in the Bible and I have experienced both .

Ya can't bash the rcc for extra biblical things when. The charismatics do that

My church shares it's sanctuary with a Spanish only. Church.we have had communion together .my church prayer warrior with the worship leader of the Spanish church .when we celebrated our anniversary of founding .they show up.

Yet no fusing together .we don't ordain females,they do .

But you DID say what I posted.
I don't agree that unbelief is one of the reasons we are not healed.

Doesn't God love us enough to heal us when we implore Him?

I do say that there are miraculous healings.
My point is that there are not many and we cannot blame persons if they are not healed. (I mean believers).

Look up the water poisoning by the military,camp lejeune claim .cancers etc
Agent orange .
.in my case asthma from the burning of trash .

I have witnessed this first hand myself.

The above covers the world we live in
and the law of nature in the case of cancer.

Things just go wrong.
I attribute everything to satan, but some theology does not agree with this so I hate to make a point of it.
In my understanding, satan is the cause of ALL evil.

Ultimately sin and or Satan but nothing God doesn't allow

I may fire my gun ar you and Gid may cause me to miss .

Sometimes he doesn't and people die or are injured.

Here is the where the phrase “drunk in the Spirit” came from.

But Peter, standing up with the eleven, raised his voice and said to them, “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and heed my words. For these are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only the third hour of the day. But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God,
That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
Your young men shall see visions,
Your old men shall dream dreams.
Acts 2:14-17
 
My wife .it was thought she needed hand surgery .I asked my church to pray .

No she doesn't .she has ra. Her hands simply needed a brace .the doctor ,,the second one says that's all she needed and therapy .the first one said surgery .sometimes a blessing world like that .

That's not supportable .
I know your doctrine well .

I have had hands laid on me. I was outside the church after three hours of worship .as that was a prayer line during the worship and drunk .some can't drive because of it .

Peter says these are Not drunk .

But pentacostals say you can be drunk .does inebriation and slurred speach and the above sound like drunkness ?

Now I understand that it's the joy and we talked about God and it's a euphoria from that but there simply is No canonical verse that says and the apostles laid hands and they became drunk in the Spirit and slain and it's described as such like the pentacostals .

God doesn't confuse his actions against what his word says .

You could make a case but it's weak .

I read up on how it's supported but we'll context and first audience isn't there

I just showed in the Bible where the term “drunk in the Spirit” came from.

This thread is about Divine healing; why some don’t get healed.

It seems everytime you get involved in a thread it becomes derailed with everything but the topic.

Maybe you could list some biblical reasons why you believe some don’t get healed.

She taught slain in the spirit and drunk in the spirit

Look jlb I'm old .i have had prophetic uterances given and then the laying of hands and healing spoken and sometimes slain ,a few times drunk.

So which is it .these all go together and yet I have not heard even at the last pentacistal church where they do teach it that ,cog tenessee teaches slain and drunk in the spirit .
