I have met many Christians that believe in evolution. Some believe in the results of science and figure that the Bible was just giving the same account in a moral story instead of a factual one.EVERYTHING has to do with God!!!

Man's word is quite wrong when saying what the Bible means. People that read and studied the Bible believed that the Earth was flat and and the sun went around the Earth. They believed snow and water was on top of the solid dome over the Earth. They believed bats are birds and diseases are caused by demons.God's word is not ever wrong,man is wrong!!!
We know this is not true. So what is the chance that evolution has also been misunderstood by people reading the Bible?

God and the word helps protect our bodies,and it helps promote a healthy life style and with that a healthy self esteem.

It also keeps us from having guilt and shame that comes from living loose with no morals.
Listening to the bible can only help people,not hurt them.

The schools today teach kids to have sex and to enjoy it,they pass out condems and tell little girls that they can have abortions without the parents knowing and they tell kids that all sex is normal.

I don't think you understand what "turn the other cheek means." It means that if you are harmed by someone, you do nothing but allow for yourself to be harmed by that person again. Changing social values does not fit that description. Turning the other cheek is very close to the idea of instant forgiveness. One way to to look at this is that to turn the other cheek is following Jesus's example. All the examples you gave, according to you, is America turning away from Jesus.

If you want to understand the book, look at history. You will see a tribe that chose one of their gods, Yaweh, above all the others and forced his rule on the rest of the tribe. So your god had his beginnings as a localized tribal god in competition with all the other localized tribal gods.If you want to know more about God,read his book!!!
Read the book and see how silly some of it is. See how Yaweh thinks virginity is known from the hymen (someone should have clued him in that anatomy doesn't guarantee that). Watch Yaweh kill a child because He didn't like what his parents did. Or see Yaweh send she bears to maul 42 kids for making fun of a man. Or see Yaweh say it is ok to sell your daughter as a sex slave. How far do you have to blindly follow an idea tothink it is ok for a rape victim to be forced to marry her rapist?
I have read a lot of this book and most of it sickens me with how morally corrupt the principles are. It saddens me worse that people can look at the brutal killings that Yaweh commanded and the stupid rules and think they are a "good" thing.
He could have done a lot better job of editing out the mistakes. Or at least update it so modern people can decide what he meant instead of forming 33,000+ denominations to guess what He meant.After all,he went to all the trouble to have it made into a book for us,you could at least read it,before judging people who believe it.

Also, people who said they "definitely believed in God" fell from 84% in 1984 to 78% today. On top of this, Christianity is not growing with the population lately. True christians won't be accepted either when the one world government takes over,and the one world global religion is the only choice you've got or be put in prison or killed.
