yes, I know but its a verification of identity. if it was your dl number or state id number what is the difference? we have to have some means of verification of whom we are . if it wasn't a ss # then what would it be? birth certificate number?

My point is a chip can hold information, but we really can't buy or sell without a SS# either. We're already in the situation where we can't buy or sell w/out a SS#, so no, imo, it's not the mark of the beast. I was agreeing with you.

I was referring to legal people. A SS# is forced upon us and we can't do much without it.

Illegals will do the same no matter what is required, whatever they do here is illegal simply because it's illegal for them to be here. haha

true, you cant legally work without an ss but I don't see that as control, more as an id thing. the irs does need to know what person is to be taxed. a levy would need the same. kinda hard if I have money and have paid and they don't know whom I am and what I made. people wouldn't lie on that stuff, we just love them taxes.

my property has a tax id number. I can look up my home and go back a long time on the property lot number. to the original owner and deed. I have done that. it goes back to the 80's

off topic that motel I posted in the other thread, it sits near lots that go back to the 1880's. they have the original survey of the county(Brevard) in their deeds.

I have bought parts online and via data mining fb will show the part I was looking for.im not saying I don't see that but the reality is that we have to be reseonable. the problem is that we have the government which in general we think is bad and controls people. we forget that a mega corp will do that too.

I know a man whom has a smart meter connected to his home and all appliances are controlled by that device( I have a smart meter but I will NOT opt to that program). the utility can and does tell him when he can use his hot water heater, wash etc. I refuse to do that. I pay my bill. what I do with my electrons is my responsibility.

That's true, we are being tracked on-line, especially if a person opts into social media. Mega corps have designed advertising to such perfection, we don't even realize the influence.

Not being allowed to buy or sell is not a huge concern for us as Christians. Non-Christians, yes, but not us. The Lord has taken all of this into consideration, and He has some Oscar Meyer hotdogs set aside for you and me.

Remember the scripture, eye has not seen nor ear heard the wonderful things that the Lord has in store for us? Well, if you think about it, This would include anything and everything that our ancestors have ever seen or done. The Lord will be doing things on earth that no one has ever seen before.

That means to care for you brother, and me. So just be ready to believe this and receive it.

I used to be pretty much terrified of this mark of the beast stuff. Not any more. Praise the Lord that He has shown me that He is a bigger God than anything that man can cook up.

Yes. But I'm thinking that it goes a little deeper than that. Right now, we are able to have faith in other gods and to also change our hearts and receive Jesus as our savior. That may not be possible at some point with this MoB thing. That's how it reads.

It won't be possible. The people receiving that mark will believe they are worshiping God. Just as the heart of Pharaoh was hardened, these people will also have their hearts hardened to the truth.

Christians won't really be terrorists....they'll merely be presented in that way in order to discredit them. Many (hopefully all) Christians won't take the mark in those days, and there will be some who will need help in one way or another. In order to prevent the marked citizens from helping the unmarked, it will be declared that Christians are responsible for all the evil doings that are occurring and therefore should be turned in.

I see the mark of the beast as the means which we interact with the word and the mark of the sin nature. not as some mark of people like that. notice it says forehead and right hand. we think, and we use our right hand a lot. if sin is in the mind, the right hand will do that sin as we command it to.
