1 Peter 1:16
Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I Am Holy.
Where is this written? It can be found twice in Leviticus Chapter 11, The Entire Chapter is about what is Food and what is not food.
And before anyone twists the meaning of Peter's vision he had, How about what Peter said that it meant.
Acts 10:28 | And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean. |
Where in the Torah does it say that it is unlawful for a Jew to keep company with one from another nation? Nowhere, That's was a commandment given by those who sat in Moses seat, the dogmas that kept Jews from associating with other Ethnos, that was the wall that was torn down.
When YESHUA returns those eating swine's flesh will be consumed, and it does not matter how much you pray over it, It will never be sanctified by the word of God as Food.
Isaiah 66:
15 | For, behold, YHWH will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and His rebuke with flames of fire. |
16 | For by fire and by His sword will YHWH plead with all flesh: and the slain of YHWH shall be many. |
17 | They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith YHWH. |
The prodigal son ends up with the swine, far from the Father and His Commandments
YESHUA at the behest of a legion of demons cast them into a herd of swine that immediately run down a hill and off a cliff and drown in the sea, It appears that they were being kept for food, and their request served His purpose
Don't be set apart, eat what God says is unclean, and continue to profane the name of the God that changes not, the One who is the same yesterday today and forever by claiming you follow Him.
The doublethink that some go through to justify their lawlessness is simply unimaginable.
