the US is looking like a 21st century late stage Rome. Ruthless elites creating misery at home, violence abroad. The 1%-ers of America are ruining this nation and using endless wars to spread their insantiy overseas, too...at tax payer expense. Awesome.
 
not in America. The DNC and the GOP are both owned by the elites, just...different factions of the elites. The DNC is owned by elites who think long term and don't want out of control class warfare. They're willing to throw the 99% some table scraps, as long as it keeps everything running smoothly. Then you have the GOP...

they're insane! All hopped up on Ayn Rand, social darwinism, pulling out selected Bible verses to support war, oppression of the poor, the death penalty, etc. Noam Chomsky is correct, of course; the GOP is more dangerous than ISIS.
 
No sane person is attracted to power and the humble will always get trampled, always. That is the way any system works and why the most humble are always at the bottom and the least humble is always at the top in power who loves to control everyone else.

There are many people who think they are more important.

Cities are in a situation. Bankers continue to confiscate purchasing power from their revenue. Inflation in the price of services is astronomical, and cities provide a lot of services.

At the same time bankers are confiscating purchasing power from residents, who don't have the extra bread to make up for what bankers are confiscating from cities. A catch 22 situation for both cities and residents.

I dont know what the solution is. More charity maybe. There would be more Jobs and charity if tax was very low for both business and employees. But I doubt that would happen.

Its a shame they chose such a regressive method. The bottom 50% are already moving backward due to bankers confiscating their purchasing power.
 
I find it amazing when a nation has skyrocketing crime rates and authoritys say they don't have the funds to investigate things like shoplifting but that same year they can arrest 1400 people for "hate speech" online. Do you think that is good use of there time and money.
