I'm debating my faith because of the existence of hell if God was all seeing all powerful and all knowing why would he allow some people to never become Christians by that logic he knew they would go to hell but made them anyway and what about people who live in extreme poverty and never even hear about Christianity in their life do they also go to he'll forever this feels like a massive plot hole also im not looking to start a argument just a genuine question

I was never the other so to me its just the new creation. Christ in us.
Ephesians 2:14 kjv
14. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

Acts 2:10 kjv
19. Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,

Jews and proselytes is added in verse 11 of other translations.

In one sense we have original Jews and converted gentiles together at Pentecost. How did they get there together? For 400 years the good guy grieving Jews Ezekiel spoke of (ones with mark on their forehead) were telling the gentiles of the one true God. They both had come to Jerusalem to worship (IMHO).

IMHO there had been some mental blending over those 400 years. The gentiles were having theie minds opened to God.

This (IMHO) is sort of a precursor to the gentiles accepting Jesus as Messiah.

If we blame anyone for the gentile inclusion it’s the Jews telling the foreigners about God (wich the Jews had been commanded to do).

So raised in a Christian gentile home I knew of Jews but had not been raised to fully appreciate the advance Jews have. So now I am on a quest to help us all appreciate what happened.

What tends to happen when I say this? Jew and gentile alike want to tear their clothes rush on me to throw me over the cliff. LOL

I have spent at least 35 years struggling with this one new man, I don’t have but 2 paragraphs when it needs to be an article. It is growing as I continue to share.

1 Timothy 2:3-5 The Berean Study Bible…This is good and pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,…
The man Christ Jesus. I guess we are not already to when Jesus comes in power.

Colossians 3:4 kjv
4. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

Interesting.

Can anyone else see posts like this (one time hit and miss taking potshots?) as being plants, being seeds for leading people to destruction ?
The op did not stick around or post any more .
The enemy , not necessarily this op, but many enemies on earth and posting on the internet tens of thousands of items per day,
will and does plan and are taught and are told to post things like this
to stir up , promote, doubt and dissension in the ranks (of all groups of people including believers).
The more dissension, the more conflict (physcial, mental and spiritual; and soulish)
the more the enemy plans and hopes to have power over as many people(souls) as possible
and to eliminate as many as possible also.

Hi,

The answer to your question and some of the other questions is...

Peter says to Cornelius "I believe that God shows no partiality." He has no partiality is also said in Galations. Meaning that God has no favorites...This People or That People or Him or Her. God loves ALL his children the same. He created you to find Him and develop a loving relationship with Him throughout your life. But he gives you free will to choose Him or to not choose Him. He doesn't force man to do what He hates. He doesn't force you away from Him but rather loves you eternally like only He could.

Here's the thing. He'll reach for every child throughout creation endlessly. He reaches for you today. Will you grab is hand and journey with Him who is all LOVE and most High and most Merciful. Everyone in the world God will reach out for and try to teach them at some point in their life. They have to reject him in order to condemn themselves. Countless times probably. Love Him now because he LOVES YOU.

Here's what He said about those who did not know Him... I have other sheep not of my sheepfold that he needed to tend to and save. Those are all the people who didn't know Jesus in their lifetime but were still GOOD people. STILL he calls His children to evangelize and proclaim the Gospel. So that all people can be reached.

As for the question related to "is everyone damned before Jesus came"

Jesus was crucified died and was buried. He descended into hell for 3 days. While he was there He saved all those who could be saved. Adam Eve etc.

He was then resurrected. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father. From there He shall come to judge the living and the dead and His kingdom will have no end.

Love Him you have nothing to lose. Know that He made everyone of you personally just for Himself and His endless loved ones.

Amen Amen

Hi
Welcome to the Forum.

The CC used to teach that Jesus descended into hell.

This is not taught anymore.

Agreed on everything else except one idea.
But I don't want to scare you away!

Feel welcomed!

God wants us to love Him. But we can't be forced into loving Him. By definition, love is only ever freely given; it can't be compelled. And so, we live in a world where God has made it possible for the creatures He's made (the one's created in His image), to freely choose to know and love Him. But in making this possible, it is necessary that we be able not to choose God, and even to hate Him. Without a real, concrete choice between loving God and not loving Him, we aren't truly free in our choice and without such freedom of choice love isn't possible. And so, there are people who love God and people who don't.

God is good. He is also all-knowing. And so, of all the possible worlds God could have made, He made the world that, in His omniscience, He knew the greatest number of people would freely choose to love Him: our world. We can deduce from the nature of our world that it isn't possible for God to have created another world in which more people with free agency choose to love Him. If such a world were possible, God, being good, would have created that world. But He didn't; He has created our world. And so, we live in the one world out of all possible worlds God could have made in which the most people are saved. Our world, then, isn't a testament to God's cruelty, but, rather, to His goodness.

by that logic he knew they would go to hell but made them anyway

Yes. We do the same thing without a moment's thought in a variety of ways. For example, every time we get into a car and drive on public roadways, we are potentially a terrible risk to other drivers. We might have a brain aneurysm, or stroke, or heart attack, or seizure; a tire might blow, or we might get fatally distracted or frightened; we might misread traffic, or overreact to a traffic situation or fellow driver, or misjudge a turn, or lane change, or how long it will take to come to a stop. Any of these things can result in driving fatalities - and often do - and yet billions of people cars drive along roadways every day. Do we say, "You're an evil person for driving a car, knowing the great risks to others you cause when you do so!" No.

Parents have no guarantee they won't give birth to a sociopath, to a child who will grow up to be the next Stalin, or Hitler, or Jeffrey Dahmer. Parents don't know when they have a child, whether or not that child will cause some terrible accident, harming or killing others. Parents cannot be certain that their child won't cause them and others terrible heartache and misery, their child becoming addicted, or obsessed, or suicidal. And yet, when a couple gets pregnant, we don't condemn them saying, "You know there are terrible things that have and can happen as a result of giving birth to a child. You're evil for having a child, knowing this is the case!" No, instead, we celebrate the advent of new life into the world.

How, then, is God's knowing in advance that some will choose Him to their everlasting benefit and some will hate Him to their everlasting hurt make God evil? Again, under the same sort of circumstance, what about people who live in extreme poverty and never even hear about Christianity in their life do they also go to he'll forever we don't come to the same conclusion about the car driver or parent.

what about people who live in extreme poverty and never even hear about Christianity in their life do they also go to he'll forever

People don't go to hell because they haven't heard the Gospel, or because they are poverty-stricken, but because they are sinners, having disobeyed the "Law of God written on their hearts," and "suppressed the truth (about God) in unrighteousness." No one possessed of a normal-functioning brain in life will stand before God and be able to say, "I had no idea you existed!" No one of this sort will be able to claim never to have known that the wrong they did was actually wrong. Any person, no matter in what time or place, who follows the innate awareness of God all humans possess, seeking to draw near to God will find Him. God has promised that He will do so and many are the stories of people in all regions of the world whose lives testify to God's eagerness to fulfill His promise. No one who truly wants to know God, who is seeking for Him with their whole heart, will find themselves disappointed.

this feels like a massive plot hole also im not looking to start a argument just a genuine question

Not really. See above.

Justice requires an eternal punishment not just because God is eternally offended but because the consequences of our sin is eternal. Every sin we do has an eternal impact, and if God did not wipe our minds clean and make the former things forgotten in the afterlife for saved, we would probably still do those things even in heaven. An eternal place.

John chapter 3
Jesus gives everyone choice to follow satan or Jesus.

Many people choose to walk in darkness. They don't want accountability.

Ezekiel chapter 33.
God warns the wicked to repent and conform to God's standard.
Unfortunately, some people are close minded and stubborn .

It's our way verses obedience to God.

They don't want to walk in the light. It means obedience to God. They're not going to carry their cross daily and follow Jesus.

Persecution doesn't appeal to them.
Studying the bible doesn't appeal to them.

John chapter 14. Jesus tells us world will hate you if you follow Jesus

The easy way out is to follow satan.

I'm not judging anyone.

Other reason. Many false preachers lying to people. So some people don't have prayer of chance.
To hear sound doctrine is rare.

Amos chapter 8. Were in time of famine .
There are very few shepherds who tell you the truth.

I recommend shepherds chapel on YouTube. They tell you the truth.
