Is baptism required for salvation?

I stated some come to the faith as adults. Meaning they would be baptized as adults.

I know you stated some come to faith as adults.

I responded and asked you if that meant they become born again. You said No.

Anyway your problem is in His words not mine. Jesus spoke the Fathers words and the Spirit speaks only what he hears from the mind of the Spirit. Thats 3 that testify but the source of the message/truth is God our Father.

Could you show a scripture where the apostles baptized people in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit?

I believe the name of the Father is Jesus, the name above all names.

I believe The Father gave His Name to His first born Son.

I believe the name of Jesus encompasses the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

That’s why I believe we need to be baptized in water, using the name of the Lord Jesus.


I don’t invalidate others who were baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.


I’m just saying why I believe baptizing in the name of Jesus is what the apostles did, and what I do, and teach others to do.


Being born again is what matters.

Well I did ask for and received the inner gift of the Spirit of Christ at a later date as one calling on the Lord.

We are saved by grace through faith.

that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

Belief in your head is up to you, believe in your heart is not, it's up to the Lord, because it usually takes personal, transformative experience.

I feel following the head of the body of Christ's directive in whose name to baptize is not in error. I don't find any fault in baptizing in Jesus's name either. The church authorities don't care what I think. They will baptize as Christ Himself directed. God is not going to find fault either way.

I have always known Jesus lives not just believed. I can only conclude that certainty came from God my Father. His Spirit of truth. After all I was praying to Him in my mind not the Father. He didn't have a problem with that either as He never corrected me in that. After all those that listen and learn from the Father come to Him as He stated.

Those that belong to God hear what God says.

I suppose in a way I do mean they become born again but directly I stating they are accepting Jesus as their Lord as adults and would likewise then be baptized by the church. (coming to the faith)
