Is baptism required for salvation?

The same baptism that Christ had, is required for salvation, to believe we are buried with Christ in baptism, to also be risen with Him through the faith of the operation of God.

Believing that Jesus Christ was put to death in the flesh, crucified through weakness, yet He lives by the power of God.

The Apostles also were weak in Him, but they lived with Him by the power of God toward us, quickened by the Spirit.

I think that on the one hand, if circumcision be equated with baptism, that salvation can come before baptism, even apart from baptism, according to Romans 4:11.

But I will say, on the other hand, that remission of sins and the Holy Ghost is absolutely promised to those who will receive baptism in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth for the remission of sins, in Acts 2:38.

Jeremiah 29:13 tells me that we would do well to receive baptism in Jesus' Name if there is any doubt in our mind about whether or not we are saved.

A person is declared righteous before men by works, Romans 4:2; not before God.

When it comes to the present moment, regeneration and renewing in the Holy Ghost is in no way accomplished by any good work that I might do.
