yes its ok to have tattoos, but i believe in moderation and modesty at the same time.Im not into legalism so I say yes....
NO WAY!! roflol! I'll keep my flower thank u very much.. ha!If you want to, there is something you can do about it, at least, if it doesn't cover a huge part of your body. I knew a man many years ago who had gotten a tattoo of a naked lady on his arm when he was younger. After he got saved, it really bothered him and he went to a doctor to ask if anything could be done. What they did was to simply remove the skin from his arm, along with the tattoo and graft new skin there instead.
I think they sedated him first. At least, I hope they did. I didn't ask
gr8grace:I believe tatoos are between the believer and God Personally. I believe my Judgment of someone else and "what they are doing" Is held to more of a critical eye(judgment) than the actual "thing" of which I judge.

Right. Tattooing in and of itself is a big nothing, spiritually speaking.I believe tatoos are between the believer and God Personally. I believe my Judgment of someone else and "what they are doing" Is held to more of a critical eye(judgment) than the actual "thing" of which I judge.
farouk,
"Nevertheless, I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols." (Revelation )
We all know and agree that, in and of itself, it is okay to eat meat sacrificed to idols, so what is 'that woman Jezebel' guilty of doing in the church at Thyatira? Why is God holding this serious charge against this woman?
What is it that makes teaching others to eat meat sacrificed to idols (the famous Christian liberty of Romans 14) wrong?
No. Not even close.farouk,

So are you name calling anyone with a tattoo, to be someone who looks like an immoral Jezebel?
I mention what that women did. She did what you and others are so certain you have full and total liberty and freedom to do (practice and teach the freedom to indulge legitimate Christian liberties), yet God condemned her for it. Why, farouk? It's the same reason we can't condone tattooing in the church at this time in the history of tattooing. You mention that particular woman.
I don't know how you think this somehow makes tattooing okay for the church. The world does it, and does it a lot, (and for the worst of ungodly reasons), so the church should adopt the practice, too? That's some pretty distorted logic.59% of parlor clients in North America are women; with 70% in some areas, apparently.
Well, if I really am painting with the broad brush you think I am then, yes, that would be too broad. But as it is, you apparently missed my point altogether...again.Aren't you painting with an extremely broad brush? (It would be a bit like saying that anyone who goes to church seems like a hypocrite.)
If a person has a tattoo & becomes a Christian...no problem,
I don't think any true Christians would concider getting one though
ace:When we look at ourselves, we should probably see things we need to get rid of in our lives that are far more important then getting a tatoo.
I can get rid of porn or drugs....how do you get rid of a tattoo?
I specifically stated that a Christian should NOT GET a tattoo.....
I am full of the Holy Spirit, I feel that tattoos are wrong!
It won't send you to hell.....but ITS WRONG!!!

I disagree Ace.
When we look at ourselves, we should probably see things we need to get rid of in our lives that are far more important then getting a tatoo.
And judging others by their outward appearance can be very deceiving.
We need to look into people's hearts to see if they are christian.
