I wonder what trying to explain to a 4 yr old , why Father Christmas couldn't deliver on the private lap-top as promised due to certain"budget constraints" and gets boring new tricycle instead. Well, we burn wood as our primary heat and I'm fascinated with Rocket Stoves and I want to build a Rocket Heater for the house lol! But... my screen name came from the nickname my Dad gave my car.
Here's an old video from 2007.. please excuse all the "My" statements and how cluttered the garage is. Seemed the garage became a catch all that winter...


Here's a picture after my neighbor finished painting it. Not bad for being painted in a barn. And yeah, I built the engine, tranny etc. I just bought a new intake that I'll be finishing bolting up today. Spring I need to change the stall converter and I'm hoping to run mid 12's.

I spent very little money on this project as things were donated to me. I doubt if I could afford to buy this brand new. I learned as I went and was able to hone my welding and other mechanical skills.

Nice!!! You and my brother would get along well! He has a bike with a 4 stroke! Years ago he built an electric scooter from an old electric fork lift engine. It was awesome!
I don't miss the college days, but I still have to keep up with my certs etc.
BTW, the car is paid for. It was / is a cash as you go project.... I just came in for a break. Time to head back out. I went from a single plane to the rpm duel plane. Going to pick up some bottom end.

I have a pressure washer rated at 5hp. my lawnmower is rated the same. the pressure washer is a Honda 5hp and the lawnmower is a briggs and Stratton.

Hmmm....that's a good idea.

I don't have a credit card yet, so everything is cash only for me. A few years ago, I bought 2 mini bikes for $25 apiece, got them running, painted the metal and sold them for $150. Several projects over the years, they always yield money back when I sell them. The bike I just did is specifically to take it to campus on the trail, park it at a friend's place he's renting, saves on gas and parking permits. Leave my car parked at where I'm staying.
