OSAS....Not !

MM says I am in bad shape. Don't know what that means.

But notice I don't condemn you or say you're going to hell ;) What it means is that I believe that you are bound by religion and I really feel for you. My heart goes out to you. But I don't condemn you or I'd be condemning the person I was years ago or didn't know any better.

Does anyone else see the non-sequitor??

I do not judge the hearts of men. That is not my poitn. The point is that where they are in error, and I would hope you would agree that they are, they have not heard his voice. So anyone can say "my sheep hear my voice" and apply it to themselves and "feel good" about themselves. There are many Protestants on this board who believe OSAS and believe the Mormons are all damned to hell (I don't by the way) and even believe that I am damned to hell. MM says I am in bad shape. Don't know what that means. I find it very interesting how many flavors of protestants there are on this board contradicting eachother. Your but another flavor. You don't really know the truth that was delivered "once for all to the saints". Your all just wingin it.

Blessings
All are damned to hell unless they become born again through the belief in Jesus Christ. Belonging to the RCC, the LDS, the Lutheran, the Baptist, will not save one single solitary soul on this planet.

If you are not born of the Spirit of God through the born again process, you are going to hell.

If you doubt this warning, read the Word of God.

Where did I say men do not need to be born from above.

If you are not born of the Spirit of God through the born again process, you are going to hell.

Process? Oh so men have to do certain things? yes of course they do. They need to believe, following up that belief with obedience in the repentence of their sins, followed by baptism, whence they recieve the Holy Spirit and are born again. Horray!

If you doubt this warning, read the Word of God.

Not all men who think they are born again really are. Many who think they are saved are not even by the admission of many Protestants. So believing you are saved is no proof of OSAS. Or that you are OSAS.

I included the Jews, Muslims, Budhists, Hindus, etc in the "All are damned to hell unless they become born again...", and was not all inclusive when mentioning a couple of denominations as an example of institutions where some believe they are saved because they are a member. Roman Catholics are the biggest deceived bunch that there is because of the false teachings of the RCC.

I'm damned to hell? Thank you for your judgement. But you are highly underqualified to judge me.

So was the God Samaritan damned to hell?

Only if he didn't accept the son of God as his savior by repenting of his worldliness and believing in Jesus. His good works did nothing for him if he wasn't born again as Jesus taught Nicodemas. I am not judging you, friend, I am warning you. You will go to hell if you are not born again.

I'm born again in the true sense of the word but thanks for your concern.

Then I will expect to read more truth in your posts from this point on. You had me thinking that your born again experience was from an infant baptism in the RCC. Perhaps you could give your testimony of salvation for the edification of the true Church of Jesus Christ.

I guess all those Jews that Hitler gassed are damned to Hell as well.

1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. Romans 8:1-5

What's wrong with everyone?? Stop judging each other and just get on with it already.

This forum is beginning to become a drag! Come on now...we are all brothers and sisters in Christ so let us just love one another.

1 Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unrighteous, and not before the saints? 2 Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world will be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters? 3 Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life? 4 If then you have judgments concerning things pertaining to this life, do you appoint those who are least esteemed by the church to judge? 5 I say this to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you, not even one, who will be able to judge between his brethren? 6 But brother goes to law against brother, and that before unbelievers! 7 Now therefore, it is already an utter failure for you that you go to law against one another. Why do you not rather accept wrong? Why do you not rather let yourselves be cheated? 8 No, you yourselves do wrong and cheat, and you do these things to your brethren!

9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

12 All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. 13 Foods for the stomach and the stomach for foods, but God will destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. 14 And God both raised up the Lord and will also raise us up by His power. 15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not! 16 Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For "the two," He says, "shall become one flesh." 17 But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him. 18 Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. 19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. 1 Corinthians 6:1-20

Heidi,
I have read many of your posts, here and as Carico on another forum. It really amazes me how you continually say how you are a christian but are so self contradictory even in your own statements. Here are just a few.

(these are also from the other OSAS thread)

Again, trying to get people to doubt their salvation does nothing to increase their faith in God, Sputnik. Satan comes to me on this forum everyday with people trying to erode my faith. But again, the Holy Spirit is stronger than the devil. Sorry

Again, trying to get others to doubt their salvation is from the devil. The devil tries to keep us from God. The Holy Spirit embraces our faith in God. We either have faith that we are saved or we don't. There seems to be many on this forum who do not have that faith.

Again, I can always tells those who call themselves Christians but have not received the Holy spirit because of their complete lack of faith in the Holy Spirit. They do not believe the Holy Spirit empowers them to believe, nor that God is strong enough to keep them from the evil one. Only when you receieve the Holy Spirit, guibox, will you know his power & that He will guide you into all truth and is much stronger than the devil. The devil leads us away from God and the Holy Spirit leads us towards God. I'm sorry your faith in the devil's power is stronger than your faith in God's power.

Trying to pass along doubt instead of faith, guibox is from the devil. Fear and doubt are not fruits of the Spirit which is another reason it is obvious you are not born again of the Spirit. 1 John, "he who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world." But you don't believe that, guibox. You believe you are greater than the Holy Spirit, which is the sin of pride and deceit. Therefore, since your understanding of free will is comes from sin, it is a false interpretation. Only understanding that comes from the Spirit, not sin, is a true one.

But I see a lot of people on this forum who like to boast about their ability to believe. They give credit to themselves for that ability, instead of to God alone. That is the sin of pride which comes from the devil. Pride does not come from the Holy Spirit! The bible is very clear about where faith comes from-not from ourselves, but from God. People either believe the bible or they don't.

Do you even know who God is and what he provides for you? If you did, you wouldn't ask such questions!

May i suggest you look at your statements and read from your own mouth that the devil is indeed working through you since you are so willing to condemn others faith so loudly but are also saying doing just that is the work of Satan.

This last is just a Jewel i thought i would throw in.

I witness here every single day, volunteer at my church, nursing homes, for Hospice, & witness to people about Christ everyday. In fact, I consider that the most important thing in life. And that certainly doesn't come from my wonderful nature, loving heart, & superior intelligence.

Heidi,
Why do you do volunteer work if its not from your heart?

Heidi,

Heidi is a real sweetheart, and her comments that you have stated are not contradictory.

A believer or one who purports to be a believer should examine themselves to validate whether they are saved or not. When one brings the question of whether one is saved or not due to recognizing a place of no fruits, a believer should question the intent of such a one. That is not bringing into doubt the salvation of one, but is instead warning one of their possible need for salvation.

On the other hand, one who causes others to doubt their salvation and/or faith in God could very well be led by satanic influence, if not just walking in the flesh, or conformation to the world.

One may think it a very thin line between the two, but then satan's counterfeits would not be counterfeit if it didn't look like the real thing.

As far as the last quote that you posted, Heidi stating that in her volunteer work and witness to people was not of her own nature, loving heart, and superior intelligence, but instead from the indwelling Spirit of God who has a divine nature, agape loving heart, and supreme intelligence.

At least this is how I read Heidi's posts and am in agreement with her in what I have read from her posts.
