Are you not glad that we can now walk in the light ?

Walking in the light is walking in love.

Walking in darkness is walking in hate.

  • But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness

He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now. He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him. But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.
1 John 2:9-11

When you learn to simply read and believe what the scriptures teach, and stop making up your own gospel, and your own man made doctrine, then you will truly walk in the light.

When you add your own words to passages which are not there, and are not what the context is teaching then you create your own doctrine.

Your physical body was not born again when you were baptized in water.

That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
John 3:6
All those reborn of God, are reborn of the Spirit.
Our death precedes our rebirth.

"And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts." (Gal 5:24)
That is the end of the old man.

"Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin." (Rom 6:6)

"So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God." (Rom 8:8)
Are you in the flesh ?

"But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his." (Rom 8:9)
Are you in the flesh ?

"And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness." (Rom 8:10)
Are you in the flesh ?

Walking in the light is walking in love.
Sinners are not walking in love...are they ?
Walking in darkness is walking in hate.
Is walking in Christ hateful ?
But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness
Certainly not the description of one that has crucified the old man.
As 1 John 1:5 stipulated that God is the light, and we all know that no sinner is in God...so no sinner is in the light.
When you learn to simply read and believe what the scriptures teach, and stop making up your own gospel, and your own man made doctrine, then you will truly walk in the light.
As what I teach allows man to walk in the light-God, I don't know what you are complaining about.
It is your doctrine that keeps wrongly inferring that man cannot walk in anything but darkness-sin.
When you add your own words to passages which are not there, and are not what the context is teaching then you create your own doctrine.
If my words ever accommodated sinfulness, you might have a leg to stand on.
Your physical body was not born again when you were baptized in water.
Then Paul was lying when he wrote...

"But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his." (Rom 8:9)

"And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness." (Rom 8:10)

And especially 2 Cor5:17..."Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."
"All things" includes the vessel of the dead man that has been quickened by the Holy Spirit.

So you are not glad we can now walk in the light-God ?

If you won't accept my views as I've stated them but ask these questions that imply my view is other than it actually is, why should I answer them? Won't you simply Strawman my answers, too? These questions you're asking seem to indicate that you will.

Sinners are not walking in love...are they ?

A sinner refers to a person who is unsaved; thus separated from Christ.

For such a High Priest was fitting for us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and has become higher than the heavens; Hebrews 7:26

So no. A sinner does not walk in love, however I have noticed that some unbelievers are more loving than some Christians.

A born again Christian who lives for Christ but does commit a sin, can repent and confess his sin and be cleansed so he can continue to walk in the light as He is in the light.

But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. 1 John 1:7

  • and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

The blood of Jesus cleanses those who walk in the light from their sin.

The ones who walk in the light, are the ones whom the blood of Jesus cleanses from sin.

I must accept that answers as the evidence that you are NOT glad Jesus has made a way to walk in the light instead of the "flesh".

I couldn't agree more.

Posers can be clever, but their motives are not to glorify God.
A born again Christian who lives for Christ but does commit a sin, can repent and confess his sin and be cleansed so he can continue to walk in the light as He is in the light.
You have just back-tracked on the former believe you issued !
Above, you said sinners were unsaved and separate from Christ, but now you call them "Christians" ?
Christians are IN Christ, and can never be separated from Him.
You may have inadvertently called posers "Christians". ?

The ones who walk in the light, are the ones whom the blood of Jesus cleanses from sin.
If one has been cleansed, and made one with Christ, they won't need further cleaning.
Sinners walk in darkness, not light.
Christians walk in the light, and remain there until the end.

If those who walk in darkness-sin really truly turn from sin, and confess them, they can be washed by the blood of Christ.
But further sin shows their prior "turn from" sin was a lie to God.
No man has a relationship with God that is based on lies.

Again you just say your own words and dodge what is actually written in scripture.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9

Thus proving, we CAN say we have no sin !
But first, must confess and be washed by the blood of Christ !
A born again Christian who lives for Christ but does commit a sin, can repent and confess his sin and be cleansed so he can continue to walk in the light as He is in the light.
People who have repented, really repented.
Only the posers keep breaking prior repentances.
They will continue to bear the fruit of Adam until they are actually reborn of God's seed.
But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. 1 John 1:7

God is the light.
There is no sin in Him.
Despite your POV, no sinner can be in Him.
They must exit the darkness by confession and washing by the blood of Christ, before they can enter into God...who is the light.

The blood of Christ cleanses those who walk in darkness from their sins.

I must accept that answers as the evidence that you are NOT glad Jesus has made a way to walk in the light instead of the "flesh".

This isn't your only option. You could properly understand my view and frame your questions accordingly. How about trying to do so?

If this is your take-away from my "POV," you are most definitely wrong.
Then you do believe we can live without sin !
You got me rejoicing now ...
It is written...“We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.” (1 John 5:18)

8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
