The destruction of the temple in 70AD, how do futurists deal with this?

These are the Jews being forced to worship the beast .
For one, worship cannot be forced and for two, where is the scripture that says “forced to worship?” Cooper says the Jews and Muslims will refuse so they WON’T be forced to worship according to him.

So you are a no-tribber.
You do realize that you are the solitary no-tribber on this web site ?
Why do you think that no one else believes in no-trib ?
I doubt I’m the only one but it is likely that the sort of people who come here are from the English speaking world which is the group who bought into the whole rapture tribulation theology. One has to search out the eschatology believed by the first century church who actually did think it would happen “soon.” It did.

That is an amazing possibility, offering great hope for escape from suffering and persecution at the hands of the beast for all non-jewish post-trib adherents .
I thought you believe there’s an evil world leader in charge. How come he’s only interested in those in Israel worshipping him and not elsewhere?

So you don’t believe the whole world will worship him, right?
Christians won't worship the imposter. But they may be killed for not doing so, similar to the inquisition. It will be that bad or worse.

So you’re a post Trib Rapture person?
I don't know what that means. I'm not really into the terminology. This is the second coming we are talking about I presume and events prior to it?

Sorry, my mistake. I like a person not into labels.

There’s a theology that sees the verses that refer to the Resurrection (the dead will come out of the graves, the living will meet him in the air) as a kind of rapturous event. There are big debate as to when this will happen.

You know, I really recommend looking into the events of 70 AD as the fulfillment of Matthew 24 and Revelation. It’s thrilling. So many scriptures come clear. Also, the words of Jesus ring so true. He says “soon” and it happened soon after Revelation was penned (60 something AD.)

Jesus also said that the generation hearing him would not be all dead before the events he spoke of happened. So many problems people have who think this is future just disappear.

Did you know, for example, the Christians saw the armies surrounding Jerusalem as the fulfillment of Jesus’ words and left? No Christians perished in the fall of Jerusalem. Isn’t that astounding? The horrible descriptions of blood flowing actually happened. The temple had been adorned with gold so when it melted as it burned, the soldiers overturned all the stones looking for gold as Jesus said. The events that fulfilled his prophesy are astounding.

Have you got any links?

Where does the Bible say the whole world will worship Satan? Where does it say that the antichrist you believe is coming isn’t a man at all but Satan?
Will leave the below for you

If you knew your scripture you would know that much like the forerunner of this future world leader , Hitler , his special emphasis on the Jews, will in no way interfer with plans to take control of the entire world.
The beast will be able to chew gum and walk where the Jews and the reat of the world are concerned,

I thank you but I asked for what the Bible says supporting your position that the whole world, every man, woman and child, will worship Satan. And that the antichrist is really Satan, not a man, please. I’m chatting with you, not the author of the link. Do you have those passages?

I do know my scripture and your scripture too and I know your theory isn’t there. But I was open and asked for scripture supporting your position. Are you lacking them and so you insult me instead? It’s not a substitute.

It is common Christian sense , not theory.
You do understand that one day God is going to remove satan's restraints for a time right ?
Good.
The reason you cannot name even one person on planet earth today whom satan does not tempt, or even one geographical location on earth where he does not maneuver under his current restraints, is clear indication to anyone with a modicum of spiritual discernment what his goals will be the day the restraints are removed .
You can't possibly believe satan will downsize his current world operations once God removes all restraints ?
So what is your understanding of what satan's goals will be once God takes off the handcuffs ?

Thank you for the link Dorothy, and I would like to post another link...

The second coming scriptures are not in question. The problem is The events before that are not as described in this link but this is just one particular view that actually is not what scripture says. There is the Resurrection no rapture as this tries to say. There is no hostile violent and bloody military conquest by Jesus as he takes over the world like Putin does in the Ukraine as this tries to say. It isn’t there in scripture. Your own link says “he will come in the same way he left” which must be without an army or fan fare or violence as he left in peace. This is not the description in the link although popular view in some circles, I know. Jesus is supposed to come as he left but these assume it is with a violent and bloody tyrannical attack which is not how he left.

WHat does it say he will do? Does it say all will worship him? No. Does it say he will rule the world? No. What does it say? It says he will DECEIVE the nations. That’s it. What does he do today? Deceive the nations.

Now the particulars I don’t understand. But I won’t attribute a freedom or power to him that is not given. All he can do is deceive, then and now.

I thought he dealt with both the second coming and the rapture, although admittedly, not in great detail.

A careful study of Revelation 19-20 reveals no textual support for a rapture in that sequence of events. The revelation of Christ at His second coming is painted graphically in Revelation 19:11-16:

I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.” He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written:

king of kings and lord of lords.

There is no similarity whatever between this and His coming at the Rapture as brought out previously. At the Rapture there is no statement of anyone accompanying Him; there is no record that He ever judges the earth or that His purpose is to end the times of the Gentiles. In Revelation the second coming of Christ is pictured in contrast to His first coming. In His first coming He came quietly to live a life on earth; in His second coming He comes in His glory accompanied by the hosts of heaven.

At the Second Coming there is no “catching up” of the church and taking it out of the world as is true of the Rapture. In the Second Coming the saints and angels will accompany Christ in His return and will remain in the earthly sphere to share in the millennial reign that follows. At His second coming Christ will destroy the armies of the world that were gathered to conquer the Holy Land. It is a terrible picture of divine judgment upon a wicked world that rejected Christ. The world leader described as the beast and the false prophet associated with him will be cast alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur (Rev. 19:20).

All the scriptures are there, the thousand years for example and the defeat of Satan in Revelation 20, he just doesn't expound on them.

So you believe the vision of future events given by Jesus Christ to John on Patmos have already taken place ?
