The "End Times"

Each one of us comes to Christ in our own personal way as we make that decision to ask Jesus to be our Lord and Savior as we confess Him to be the Son of God. This makes it a personal relationship with Christ as each one draws closer to Him and learns of His love for us. That's as easy as I can make it.
Where does the Bible talk about "asking" God/Jesus to be your Lord and savior?

By this time I am surprised no one has brought up the absence of Dan and the presence of Manasseh.

Or even the non comment of the many nations Ephraim became.

One son was a snake and one disciple was a traitor.

Why mention it at all? The OP was about end times and prophecy being completed.

Gentiles are not supposed to mention Jewish heritage?

Ok my version says
Luke 19:10 kjv
10. For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

He knocks on doors.
Calls people down out of trees
Talks to foreign women at wells
Makes people blind
Visits demoniacs
Rebukes
Praises
Whatever it takes

Can he be rejected? Yes.

Pretty sure he visits Rationalist alone blog sites. LOL

Better is the end of a thing rather than it’s beginning.

You said you don't believe in the Bible. Why do you keep referring to it?????
Because Edward and for_his_glory do believe in it and claim to ground their theology in it. So when I think their theology extrapolates from the Bible (nowhere in the Bible does anyone "ask" Jesus to be Lord and savior, and never is anyone told to ask for him to be that), then I will point it out.

Just because many ofthe tribes are in the grave does not md
Ran they are non existent.

1 Peter 3:-9 kjv
19. By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;

Revelation 6:11kjv
11. And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

The prophets (for instance) were killed.

IMHO - Those OT people in Abraham’s bosom were exposed to the gospel. Can I give a list? No.

Revelation is that passage isn’t referring to the dead.

Revelation is that passage isn’t referring to the dead.
Revelation 6:9 kjv
9. And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
10. And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
11. And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

People are not silent in the grave. They just can not communicate with the living. Read rich man and Lazarus.

Verses 9&10 sure seem to indicate they were dead.

Where are the 144,000 from the 12 tribes mentioned in those verses? That was your claim.

In post 302 you said
“Israel lost all records delineating tribal heritage when Jerusalem was burned. No records, no tribes.”

That is on this side of heaven.

Books are kept in heaven. So lost records on earth do not upset figuring out 144.000 calculations.

We may have a small delay till the resurrection to know the details. Then only one group will rule with Jesus.

That help? We are on a thread that has comments 100 post back being posted. Even the OP is still quoted. Kind of hard on everyone. LOL.

The verse is: Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees, until we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.”4And I heard the number of the sealed, 144,000, sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel.

This is not talking about putting a seal on those arisen from the dead. They are not reigning according to those verses. There is now neither Jew nor Gentile. Do you need the reference from Romans?

Revelation 7:3 kjv
3. Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.

Those who were n Abraham’s bosom were not sealed till they receive the knowledge and understanding of Jesus as Messiah. Open the door.

The forebrain is responsible for a variety of functions including receiving and processing sensory information, thinking, perceiving, producing and understanding language, and controlling motor function. The two major divisions of forebrain are the diencephalon and the telencephalon.

An external mark over the forebrain does little to seal His people. The understanding and confession in the forebrain mean everything. If those in Abraham’s bosom are active thinkers, then the dead pre resurrection Jews needed to hear the gospel to seal them. We are made in Gods image. In these last days knowledge has increased. Men run to and fro, but Christian’s are more established than ever.

Then with all sincerity may I ask, what is your purpose of coming into a Christian forum and sharing scripture of which you said you do not believe in, unless you are looking for proof that Jesus does exist in which we know He does as He has proven Himself to us many times. What we have is a personal relationship with Christ learning more and more about Him through His word and fellowshipping with Him.
I think God sent T. E. Smith our way to help us with our own knowledge of the bible and God . So I think God is using Mr. Smith even if he does not grasp that is what is happening :) . T. E. Smith will remember a lot of what has been said here later when he is a Christian . No accident he is on here .

Where does the Bible talk about "asking" God/Jesus to be your Lord and savior?
Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

You don't even know what Jesus looks like. How can you have a personal relationship with him? Nothing in the Bible uses those words, personal relationship. It's a popular Christian idea but finds no biblical support.
I know you asked Edward this question, but I wanted to give my :twocents

John 15:15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

Jesus calls us friend in that verse. A relationship with Him is a relationship of intimacy and security of being totally known and totally accepted. It's fellowship, love and trust between you and Him. In any friendship you start to develop a relationship getting to know each other on a personal level.

I can agree with this here, but I still have to ask, are they still going, Abrahams bloodline and decendants? Or have the last of them which number the sand on the seashore finished up and died off?
I have traced my family tree back to the tribe of Levi so no, I don't think Abrahams's blood line that consist of Isaac and Jacob/Israel has died off. The modern day tribes are still alive scattered throughout the world as God said He will gather them all back to Jerusalem (144,000 from each tribe Rev 7) in the end of days.

Please enlighten us as I too would like to understand and know what things are to wrong for God to do.
Out of the top of my head:

God cannot lie. That’s from the Bible. God says it, therefore, of himself.

Now before someone is tempted to think God is less than they thought he was if He cannot lie, let’s look at this in terms of one of us. If a man was told that he better lie or else face unpleasantness and he says “he cannot lie,” do we think more or less highly of said man who reports that he cannot lie?

Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Confess, not ask.
