The problem with the born again doctrine

My apologies. I guess I should stay away from this topic. I've had so much rejection from the church I think all that was triggered when he used the word creeping. It sounded creepy. LOL But like you said that doesn't mean I can be judgmental. So I won't. Take care.
 
To Christ the King. Thanks for your nice comment. I was bullied a lot as a child. And the word creeping triggered memories of being called creepy as a innocent kid. So t's just my PTSD. Have a nice day

Them wings coming out from my hat in the pic to the left is grey hair...
And I go back 2 popes before JohnPaul...
I watched the men walk on the moon for the first time...my father worked next to guys who put stuff on that capsule. (It was boring because it was all happening so slowly...stared at the ladder for at least 30 minutes before anyone came out)
I seen Billy Graham fill Oakland Coliseum, including the field. Even the nosebleed seats were filled (60's or 70's)
When Disneyland was in California and not Florida...

I remember lots of doctrinal winds over the years.

I agree that churches should not be judgmental. If a person is seeking to know God. that person needs help and acceptance.
I don't know why you were rejected...but it was wrong.

We tend to compartmentalize God....
We tend to put Him in our own little box...
The truth is that we only know about Him what He has revealed --
I used to have friends that believed that if someone did not believe in Jesus. they were headed for separation from God for eternity.
IOW,,,everyone in India was going to hell, as far as they were concerned.

I think God is bigger than this.
I think the other member has the right to ask whatever he wants to without being accused of anything.
If he can't ask here,,,,where could he ask?

I was just noting how human we all are...
and how we need to agape love one another.
