3/ The data suggests that the third ‘birth pang’, commenced in Nov. 11, 2001. Wars and rumours of wars are rife. It is considered that the global war on terrorism is a world war. There have been more than 20 earthquakes of 8 and two over 9 magnitude. Diseases such as cancer, AIDs and Covid are of epidemic proportions. Crop failures due to unusual weather and wars result in famines in Asia, Ukraine and Africa.

But the last, most shocking and devastating event of the third birth pang, will be the great Day of the Lord’s vengeance and wrath. This will be the many prophesied ‘fire from heaven’ that describes a huge Coronal Mass Ejection sunstrike, will affect the whole world, killing probably billions. This will enable two things; the establishment of a One World Government and the re-settling of the Lord’s faithful people into all of the holy Land. No, those birth pangs are growing pains, they are NOT indicators of the end; these disasters happen on regional scale all the time, they may herald the end of an age or a regime, e.g. the siege of Jerusalem in AD70, but not the end of the whole world. The one and only definitive sign of the end is the completion of the great commission, when the whole world bears witness of the gospel; before that is the blooming of the fig tree, which symbolizes the revival of Israel.

See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. (Matt. 24:6)
And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. (Matt. 24:14)

God is preparing the world stage for His drama of the ages. "A thief in the night" is a Hebrew nickname referring to the high priest who dropped by the tabernacle for inspection. A priest was on duty to keep the lamp burning on the altar, if he was caught sleeping on the job, the high priest will set his robe on fire, he will wake up and run out naked.

Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: “Command the children of Israel that they bring to you pure oil of pressed olives for the light, to make the lamps burn continually. Outside the veil of the Testimony, in the tabernacle of meeting, Aaron shall be in charge of it from evening until morning before the Lord continually; it shall be a statute forever in your generations. He shall be in charge of the lamps on the pure gold lampstand before the Lord continually. (Lev. 24:1-4)

Daniel 9:27 shows us exactly when after the total of 69 weeks (483 days/483 prophetic years in the day as a year principle) Jesus was cut off, but not for Himself for He was cut off for us as He died for our sins. Note that it states that He, Jesus, caused the sacrifice and the oblation to cease in the middle of the final week (7 years), which is 3.5 years of course. When Jesus, the Lamb of God, died on the cross, He became our one and final perfect sacrifice and put an end to the temple sacrifices. This was signified by the temple curtain being torn from top to bottom.

Matthew 27:51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent.

This still leaves 3.5 years before the end of Daniel’s 70 weeks (490 years) and the close of probation for Israel. The Gospel was still to go to the Jews exclusively for this remaining time. So what happened at the end of the 490 years? Stephen gave one immense and very significant speech before the Sanhedrin. This was God giving the Jews their final chance to repent. How did they respond and what did they do?

Acts 7:54-60 When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth. 55 But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up steadfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, 56 And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God. 57 Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord, 58 And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man's feet, whose name was Saul. 59 And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. 60 And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. Notice that this is an extremely significant event as we see Stephen say, “I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.” It is also interesting to note that Stephen effectively said, “Father forgive them for they know not what they do.” The final 3.5 years, which was the same time period of the ministry of Jesus Christ, ended with the death of Stephen and him effectively saying the same words as Jesus when He was crucified. This marked the end of a very significant time period being the end of the Daniel’s 70 weeks.

That is interesting.
However, most people don't know that interpretation and the general belief has the glorious Return as an unexpected and surprising event. This belief simply doesn't match with the detailed Prophesies just prior to and at the Return.
We are told that the 'beast', will have authority over the word for 42 months, or 1260 days. so; to simply count the days from the desecration of the Temple, 2 Thess 2:4, will give us the exact day Jesus will Return.

The many mentions of 3 1/2 years, 42 months and 260 days, all refer to the second half of the final 7 years. The first half is only mentioned in Daniel 9:27...and with that first half spent...... It will be a peaceful time, with no great consequences.

If the Prophesies which mention the Lord coming unexpectedly are carefully studied, in their context and wording, then it should be understood they all refer to the great Day of the Lords fiery wrath; the forthcoming Sixth Seal world changer. Isaiah 29:5-6, Matthew 24:36-44

See all the reference of trumpet and gathering below, whether you acknowledge the connection or deny it is up to you. No one knows the day or the hour because it's on the first day of the month, which is NOT July first, but somewhere between late September to early October when the new moon appears in Middle East region, that can't be marked on a calendar. You can't even accurately predict when the next new moon will appear because the length of lunar cycle varies.

Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to the children of Israel, saying: ‘In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have a sabbath-rest, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation. You shall do no customary work on it; and you shall offer an offering made by fire to the Lord.’ (Lev. 23:23-25)

you shall count seven sabbaths of years for yourself, seven times seven years; and the time of the seven sabbaths of years shall be to you forty-nine years. Then you shall cause the trumpet of the Jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement you shall make the trumpet to sound throughout all your land. (Lev. 25:8-9; "Yubal" in "Jubilee" literally means trumpet)

He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. (1 Thess. 4:16-17)
