THE SONS OF GOD IN GENESIS 6:1-7

There you go, thinking angels married women.
Angels don't marry. Fallen angels or elect angels. They don't marry. These fallen angels if they are fallen angels as you say are not going to do a God-thing and marry. They dispise marriage. They hate God. They hate everything about God, and they are not going to get in a consecrate union with women.
The sons of God are humans.
So, why were their children men of renown?

I think that the story is suspiciously close to some of the legends about Hercules and Perseus and a few others.

Satan could go and come from heaven at a point in time. I was not there so I do not know if angels could make the Journey.

Im not referring to Satan and his fallen angels.

The sons of God were angels, that ended up being cast down to hell, awaiting the day of Judgement.

Satan and his angels are referred to as spiritual hosts of wickedness in heavenly places.

So, a sinful Adam is "very good" in God's sight (Genesis 1:27,31)?
The word "good" does not mean morally "good." There's another word for that and it's not here in the Genesis creation.
The word "good" that God said after a creative act means, "good" enough," "to specification(s).

adjective
  1. good, pleasant, agreeable
    1. pleasant, agreeable (to the senses)
    2. pleasant (to the higher nature)
    3. good, excellent (of its kind)
    4. good, rich, valuable in estimation
    5. good, appropriate, becoming
    6. better (comparative)
    7. glad, happy, prosperous (of man's sensuous nature)
    8. good understanding (of man's intellectual nature)
    9. good, kind, benign
    10. good, right (ethical)
      masculine noun
  2. a good thing, benefit, welfare
    1. welfare, prosperity, happiness
    2. good things (collective)
    3. good, benefit
    4. moral good
      feminine noun
  3. welfare, benefit, good things
    1. welfare, prosperity, happiness
    2. good things (collective)
    3. bounty

So, are you saying that God, creating Adam sinful, that it was pleasant to Him (agreeable to His senses)?

The other things that I bolded in the definition of the word as it is given in Genesis 1:31, show you to be wrong.

And even if they didn't, you are saying that sin is agreeable to God if we go by the first definition.

I wish when you make a statement that you provide Scripture to support it when you can.
On my post "Standing in the Gap" I believe whatever angels were disobedient to God He dealt with it at the time it occurred in Genesis 1:1. Angels are spirits. Have no bodies. Do not have creative powers to create a body, do not possess men and man and are STILL obedient to God - even those shackled in darkness. They are restrictive and were already in chains BEFORE Genesis 1:2.
When Genesis 1:2 begins that's when God begins His Plan for man. Then man takes up a great deal of redemptive history all the way to today, because what God started in Genesis 1:1 He will complete until the Day of Christ.

Those definitions are good but does any of them apply to the word being used in Genesis?
Which.
I prefer Strong's.

Gen 1:1 tells us nothing.

Angels have the ability to manifest in this realm as human.

Then the LORD appeared to him by the terebinth trees of Mamre, as he was sitting in the tent door in the heat of the day. So he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, three men were standing by him; and when he saw them, he ran from the tent door to meet them, and bowed himself to the ground, and said, “My Lord, if I have now found favor in Your sight, do not pass on by Your servant. Please let a little water be brought, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree. And I will bring a morsel of bread, that you may refresh your hearts. After that you may pass by, inasmuch as you have come to your servant.”
They said, “Do as you have said.” Genesis 18:1-5

These two men who came with the Lord were angels, yet they could eat food and drink.

They had feet that became dirty, indicating the human features.

Does “wind” eat natural food and drink, and have human extremities?

These angels left they spirit realm, their abode and took on human form, to accompany the Lord on His mission.

And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day; Jude 1:6

Other angels who left their own abode did so because they “saw” the daughters of men were beautiful.

They later went on to Sodom and were attacked by the homosexuals there, who wanted to rape them.

Now the two angels came to Sodom in the evening, and Lot was sitting in the gate of Sodom. When Lot saw them, he rose to meet them, and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground. And he said, “Here now, my lords, please turn in to your servant’s house and spend the night, and wash your feet; then you may rise early and go on your way.”
And they said, “No, but we will spend the night in the open square.”
But he insisted strongly; so they turned in to him and entered his house. Then he made them a feast, and baked unleavened bread, and they ate.
Now before they lay down, the men of the city, the men of Sodom, both old and young, all the people from every quarter, surrounded the house. And they called to Lot and said to him, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us that we may know them carnally.Genesis 19:1-5

Can flesh and blood men of Sodom rape wind?

While they were in the natural earth realm the scriptures refer to them as men, even though they were angels.

Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels. Hebrews 13:2

That was Strong's...in the blue letter bible.
OK. Here's an example:

21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. Gen. 1:21.

"good" a primitive root, to be (transitive do or make) good (or well) in the widest sense

It's a verb.

Hebrew Word: טוֹב
Transliteration: ṭôb
Phonetic Pronunciation: tobe
Root: a primitive root

I see no measure of reference of God saying it was "morally good."

Every "good" in chapter one is the same word as above. It doesn't mean morally good.

Take a look at this:

31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. Gen. 1:31.

Unless if you want to take the word "good" as morally good then you'll have to apply the moral aspect to whales, fowl, fish, cattle, beast of the earth, and creeping thing as moral. Insects are moral? Is the grass and herb yeilding seed as morally good?

Yes, those things can have moral goodness in them.

And you have to ask yourself, if it is according to the first definition, is a sinful Adam pleasing to God?

Ask yourself further whether sin is pleasing to God.

The issue is can angels fallen or elect create bodies to inhabit? Created creatures do not have creative, Deific powers. But you seem to believe they do. These angels were without doubt elect of God and were being used of God for His purpose. But nowhere does Scripture teach angels have creative powers. AND fallen angels that left their first estate were dealt with in Genesis 1:1. When Jesus said He saw Satan fall as lightning it occurred in Genesis 1:1. And this is not unreasonable. It may not say so, but other Scriptures lend credence to such conclusion.

Context, context, context.

God used the word "good" on whales, cattle, fowl, fish, insects and creeping thing. Are these creatures morally good as you take the word to mean (which it doesn't). Also, God called the creation of the beast of the earth as "good." The serpent is addressed as a beast of the field. Similar? Was the serpent morally good?

The word "good" in Genesis 1 with regard to God calling His creation "good" only means "good enough" or "to specification." When you are finished with a job well done don't you ever said "good?"
Same thing.

Yes, those things can have moral goodness in them.

And you have to ask yourself, if it is according to the first definition, is a sinful Adam pleasing to God?

Ask yourself further whether sin is pleasing to God.
A sin-ful Adam, in which the word means "missing the mark" was created "to specification" according to God. There is no way Adam was created holy, or righteous, or neutral, or innocent when standing before a Holy God. God cannot reduplicate Himself in created matter. There are no copies of God. There is only ONE God, there is NONE like Him, and He gives His glory to NO ONE.

2 There is none holy as the LORD:
For there is none beside thee:
1 Sam. 2:2.

9 Remember the former things of old:
For I am God, and there is none else;
I am God, and there is none like me
Isaiah 46:9.

Even if Adam was holy, he would STILL NOT BE like God for he doesn't have omniscience, he's not all wise, all knowing, all powerful, almighty, etc. Adam still falls short of the glory of God.

Jesus is "the image of the invisible God"...and He is God come in human flesh.

He also gives His glory to His own people according to 2 Thessalonians 2:14.

Anyway, I think that we are getting dangerously close to having arguments about words which scripture says not to do because it is subverting to the hearers.

So angels, fallen angels are the sons of God?
There is nowhere in Scripture of a genealogy of God and angels. They are never called sons. Unless you want to add them as brothers of Christ.
Or maybe half-brothers?
Step-brothers?
For me their association with Satan makes clear that these sons of God are the angels that rebelled with Satan.
You notice that they are coming into God's presence from elsewhere.
That elsewhere being the earth.
What does a spirit look like when it is " walking " ?
