I believe in the Trinity OK. The problem is elsewhere.
Setting aside "Coeternal" -Jesus as He testified is not the Father before He was known as Jesus and now in heaven.
He is at God's righthand.
The Lord says
to my lord
“Sit at my right hand
until I make your enemies
a footstool for your feet.
The God of our ancestors raised Jesus from the dead—whom you killed by hanging him on a cross. 31God exalted him to
his own right hand as Prince and Savior that he might bring Israel to repentance and forgive their sins.
Jesus - And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory
I had with you before the world began.
Then what if you see the Son of Man ascend
to where he was before!
So you see the Jesus who was and is couldn't be the Father.
In fact Jesus in heaven and earth states the one on the throne is His God and Father.
To state Jesus, the Father and the Holy Spirit are 3 distinct persons but share the nature and essence is a mystery. Its also not how Jesus taught and defined His oneness with the Father. That He and the Father are one as we and Jesus are one. That Jesus gave that same glory to us that the Father gave to Him. Not what was given but "oneness"
From my understanding I reject Jesus had a human spirit that began in the womb of Mary and state the Son who was, (His spirit), was in the body prepared for Him and as we read the FATHER was living IN Him. (oneness)
"Father into your hands I commit My spirit"
I do not see this as coeternal but from gifted from the will of another at a point in history before the world began. A other who defined Jesus's being as one who would be His God.
Col 1:19
Because IN Him it did PLEASE also the FULLNESS to DWELL.
