Why don't you just go buy one?
Even if I had the money, I asked God for one long ago. When it comes to things that are not real practical, it's best to ask God for it, and use your faith to get it, instead of just spending your money on it. I am not against us having nice and expensive things, but nice and expensive things can take the Word's place and become unfruitful. I think we should involve God in everything we have, and not just get it because the money is there. That is hard to live by, but I have finally managed to get the revelation to do it, and will just do without if the Lord does not seem all that excited about me having something.
We use to have Cable TV, and just got it because we can afford it. Wife and kids spent hours watching animal shows. We never even asked God if that is what we should be spending money on and wasting time with. Not having Cable for the last 10 years has not hurt one of us, we don't watch TV, but find other things. Right now the wife is Listening to Keith Moore on her computer.
I learned some of this way back wanting a stupid video game. it was 54.00 at walmart, and I had the money, wanted it, but walked out without it. I said, "Lord, I am not spending this kind of money on a game, and it will just eat in to my time."
Well, a week or so passed, and I was at home when the Lord said, "Go to Sam's club."
I was thinking someone there at Sam's club needed witnessed to. So I go, and the Lord tells me to walk down this isle in front, and then tells me to stop. Right there was the Game I wanted, with expansion for only 19.99. He said then, "There you are Son, you asked me, and I give it to you." The game is 54.00 everywhere else, and without the expansion.
Just then I knew, it's not the things, it's not how much they cost, it's your heart about it. If I am saving money for a Lamborghini, and chomping at the bit to have one, then I certainly don't need one.
Blessings
Mike.
