We Are Made Out Of Light...

I will not try to explain that which I do not comprehend but they did turn the light but it was not stored. the cubes were less than a tenth of a milometer, they were just not touching and who knows, when you jack around with the properties of light, it might be that it will arc the same as electricity. This provides nothing fof substance to demonstrate that we are composed of light. This just scientists wasting money, hoping to discover something useful.
Sounds like a fiber optic storing data on a sodium crystal .

Nerve messages cross the synapse of nothing to arrive at another location with the message.

Which is the same as an angel crossing nothing to deliver the message of God to man.

I think I found another scripture which supports that Adam & Eve were not naked in the garden before the fall because they were clothed in light.

2 Corinthians 5: 1-3
5 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:

3 If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.../

Before the fall, we were walking in glory. In light.
And now that Jesus has come, we are restored and this flesh garment can be overcome and dominated by the light of God.

No, it does not in any way support your idea. It is simply speaking of our "heavenly dwelling" (ESV). There is absolutely nothing to connect back to Adam and Eve before the Fall. You are proof-texting and reading things back into the creation account. This is not how good, proper biblical interpretation is done.

I thought we are new creations in Christ Jesus.

To dust off the flesh and deny the fall seems to crucify Christ again.

Adam ate of the garden. We eat His flesh and drink His blood. A hard saying? Yes, but eternal life comes through Jesus and not Adam.

This flesh garment we now have will not inherit eternal life.

What we will be is not yet manifested.

Who's denying the fall? I'm not. We fell. We fell hard.

...and I agree, the flesh will not inherit eternal life. What we will be, is not yet manifested, however, it is finished. The victory is won. on earth, as it is in Heaven...is God's desire. We have only to receive what is already ours. Matthew 10:8, John 14: 12-14...:woot2 :sohappy :woot2

Matthew 10:8 came with the gifts of the Holy Spirit and not through Adam.

John 14:12-14 came through the name of Jesus

If I confess my sins He does the work. He works in us. Yet not i but Christ that works the in me. We have not because we ask not or ask to spend it on our own passions.

Greater works.

First Adam or second Adam?

With the flesh what do we serve?
With the spirit of the mind what do we serve?

I am for good. I once supported the dancing man too. Now I support the wretched man. LOL

:confused Idk Brother, either I'm misunderstanding you, or you misunderstood me. I'm not saying it camr through Adam. We lost it through Adam, lol. We got it back through Jesus. The flesh can only serve the flesh. The spirit serves God. But our spirit should be could be will be serving God from the preeminent position within us.What Jesus did on the mount of transfiguration, we should be able to do now.

We don't have our spiritual bodies yet and wont get them until the day of the Lord comes. But we do have our spirit already. Little wonder that the last thing that satan wants to run into...is a spirit filled Christian. He can't touch us. Unless we let him.

We may finally get where we should go.

Adam never had what Jesus provided.

You have to look at first Adam - second Adam.
I Corinthians 15:35 KJV
And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

The dust first Adam soul:
mind, will, emotions
Temporal life as long as he ate from the tree of life.
Then
The second Adam (Jesus) became A spiritual man:
Son of God, Spiritual gifts, eternal
..............

Our spirit tends to be secure.
But our flesh is not totally changed till the last trump. Do we have benefits now? Yes.
....,,,...

Which us can Satan not touch?
The body of death us?
The us seated with Christ Jesus?
...........

Ok Edward, your discussion be done did it now.

Adam:
The God (plural) discussion about imagery:
God (us) discusses design of man and his job.
Takes dust makes natural man and breathes soul life into him. Communicates daily with His creation and provides continual physical life with the tree of life.

The image of a possible problem is left in the form of the tree of good and evil.
The senses may be used for good or evil (tree Ike structure of nerve networks). Man is tempted to use senses (sight and taste for decisions. The nature of man is: (tempted to be like God).

The fall of man takes him from the garden (continual physical life and fellowship with God).

The promise of word in heart and mind is given by prophets. Eternal life is discussed.

The word is born of woman (Jesus comes in flesh and fulfills prophecy).

Here is the thought this thread demands:
The Word made flesh must become a quickening spirit to enter man in heart and mind.
Revelation 3:20 becomes possible.
I Corinthians 15:35 happens as Jesus is raised from dead, ascends to right hand of God, and sends this quacking spirit to man.

Given our fallen nature, we are tempted to want to take credit for the work Jesus actually accomplished.

It is about the second Adam coming into us while remaining on the Right hand of the Father. Holy Spirit that was with man coming into man.
John 14:16 KJV
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

The temptation to trust senses still exists (seeing and knowing on carnal level).

Adam #2 makes / becomes this living quickening spirit reality possible.

Ok Edward and others refine the statements:

Make it God's work, and not our wanting the credit.

About now rednecks need help.

I must admit, you got my head spinning with that one, Brother. Umm, Who said anything about wanting the credit for anything? I surely don't, and my apologies if I said something that made you think so. We can't do anything without Him, and once it's done (anything), the only thing that the man did was to (obey) yield to the Spirit or walk in the Spirit.

To hear God's Spirit, that still small voice, who sometimes doesn't even speak but may just give unctions...but then the Believer must act in faith to release the flow of God's power. Of course we have to be led of the Spirit, but I believe that we have such a capacity in God...He has given us authority and dominion over the earth! It's incredible...(almost, lol). As He is, so are we in this world. (No wonder all satan has to use against us is deception). God's light is our life within us. Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.../
Wow. Praise the Lord.

Isaiah 60:1 KJV
Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.
2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.
.....
Let us look at two possible answers:

Acts 8:34 KJV
And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man?
35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.

So
We can put ourselves in as the subject or stress Jesus.

Thus when we read (we preach not ourselves but Jesus Christ and Him crucified) it winds up as yet not i but Christ working in me.

II Peter 2:19 KJV
We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

Yes it sounds like us on a level, but ultimately He works in us to will and to do of his good pleasure. We are blown up in the flesh and alive in the mind of Christ.

Redneck overload

I think our soul is the connection between our spirit and our flesh. Similarly, our spirit is our connection to God.

Remember in the NT, whenever Jesus would walk into the temple or synagogue, demons & evil spirits would begin manifesting...what have we to do with thee, and so forth? Darkness can not stand in the presence of light.

Remember when Moses went up the mountain for 40 days, and when he came back...he was glowing and had to cover his face with a veil because it scared the people?

But of course, being in the presence of God would do that to a man. The light of God is the life within us. We are first and foremost, spirit-beings made out of light. I like this idea. It's very encouraging to me. Though I can do nothing of myself apart from my Lord and savior, Jesus the Christ...in Him, nothing is impossible!

Ephesians 1:16 KJV
Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

II Corinthians 4:7 KJV
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

The real difference in our thinking seems to be the New Testament description of the container, or the balance / differentiation of soul and spirit. I finally see Romans 7:25 as a way to see the differing areas of us. Very little error allowed in OC, but the New Jerusalem is coming down and not totally arrived: has the tree of life on either side of the river. We should be able to believe Romans 1:19-20 and figure out the cerebellum is the organ of balance and is between the mind and heart. I will not see with absolute clairaty till judgement, but the enlightment is coming down now. You tend (IMHO) to see it as totally arrived now. Prophetically it is a done deal (Lambs book of life), but the body of death still clings till the last trump.

At any rate you are forcing me to study more.

Yep, that's the thing. I think it did arrive on the morning when Christ arose. Or maybe pentecost when the Comforter came. I believe that we all should be living under an open Heaven. There's so many clues...we have been given all authority in Christ, approach the throne with boldness, on earth as it is in Heaven, All that I do, you shall do and more, heal the sick raise the dead cast out demons, Arise, shine let your light be seen before men, and it goes on and on. When you put all of that together and look at the big picture it paints...it's very simple and plainly speaking to us.

Then it all gets simplified in the verse that says, seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and all these things will be added unto you. Of course we don't all get all of the gifts of of Holy Spirit, some be prophets, some teachers, some tongues, some healers. Seems like it's all very compartmentalized. Which is a good thing because now there's room for me (Praise the Lord!). I would think that we as individuals, need to look at our heart and life, to see wherein the Lord has called us specifically, into the Kingdom. Then step out in faith in that direction.

Maybe you like working with kids, maybe you have received premonitions of things since you were young, perhaps you have a healers heart? Whatever's in our heart already probably is our calling I think. All wew have to do is to step into the promises to receive them. Seek ye the Kingdom of God...not, sit down and wait on God. Seek Him. Interesting.

I seen one video testimony where the man had a visitation, and was instructed to practice shedding the garment of flesh and allowing our spirit to emerge and come out. Just like Jesus did on the mount of transfiguration. I try it sometimes, but have not been successful yet. I guess that I have not been made perfect in love yet? I pray for a sanctified imagination, because I know that's where pictures are formed in our mind, and the Lord uses pictures and visions quite often. If you see it you can own it (believe in it). Jesus said He only does what He sees the father do, too.

If the Lord will be returning for an unblemished Bride, then that means that He's about to do a mighty work in the Church. Watch and see, Brother. Righteousness, Holyness, and the fear of God will be returning to the Church very shortly now.

But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
17 And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;
18 Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.
19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

If the resurrection is past we are changed. Till the resurrection is past we are still teaching:
1.Repentance
2. Belief in Jesus's work
3. Baptism in Holy Spirit (convinces of sin, righteousness, judgement). Got to be a witness to lost folks etc.

We are but a shell of what we will be.

I John 3:2 KJV
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

I am a chandelier swinger in my mind but I realize the timbers of my human frame are not to be trusted as being wonderful. The words of Romans 7:25 ring out.

I Can not define yet what I will be. What is the perfect coming? Tongues interpreted. Prophecy fulfilled, return of Jesus, judgement (good and bad for all), time ceases, eternity starts.

The symbolism of the New Jerusalem is great
But
It is coming down and not totally arrived.
