What Is Shown By Christendom's Utter Lack of a Unified Theology?

"Go to the Church of your Choice"; truth doesn't matter!

Truth does matter. Which is why we study the Scriptures.

You believe JW's are the only ones with the Truth. That itself is not true. You are somewhere on the cartoon wheel that you created.

"Go to the Church of your Choice"; truth doesn't matter!

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14:6

Jesus Christ is the truth. Every word that proceeds out of His mouth is the truth.

His Gospel is the truth.
His Commandments are the truth.
His Doctrine is the truth.

We as followers of Jesus Christ, must obey the truth rather than unrighteousness. I have yet to see you post any of His teachings for us to examine. All I have seen you do is post what you think we believe, because you have been indoctrinated by an organization that began in 1914, and has changed their “beliefs” over the years.

I don’t claim to know what everyone who follows the teachings of Jesus Christ believes. I know that we have many things in common, but also disagree of some things as well. In my opinion I wish this were not true. I believe personally we should follow what Jesus Christ taught us through His Apostles. Not manmade doctrine.

  • Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son.
    2 John 9

Maybe we could begin to share what beliefs we have in common, and build from there. Let’s stick to biblical words and terms.

For instance, I really don’t use the word “Trinity”, rather I use the word Godhead.

For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;
Colossians 2:9

I believe Jesus Christ is Lord.

And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:8-11

  • that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Do you believe Jesus Christ is Lord?

People without God's assurance think in terms of uncertainty, and in terms of "apparently"

Have you submitted to His Grace? You can if you wish.

Well, you can clear it up pretty quickly by answering my question....which you didn't. So, who holds the one truth? You?

It is moderately well done for you to ask me who it is that holds Truth.

Jesus stated about Himself, "I am the way, the truth, the life." Hope this helps the uncertainty. God Bless.

That's funny because those various camps within Christianity hold to the same.

So, you're not the only one seeking and holding to the Truth.

Pilate therefore said to Him, “Are You a king then?”
Jesus answered, “You say rightly that I am a king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.” John 18:37

  • Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.

All of Scripture demonstrates amongst its writers and Prophets a singular agreement upon Theology and Faith. There is never any argument or disunity, other than the minor example between Peter and Paul about Gentile observance of the Law, which was quickly resolved.

Each writer and segment of Scripture builds and confirms what had already been written. Church denominations did not exist. Tares in the Church, ignorance of God, overt sin, weaknesses, and failures did exist, but a central core of comprehension and faith was identifiable.

After the Early Church, there has come into place nothing but a trend for divergent faith and practice upon every aspect of Theology and Doctrine. Where is the unity commanded by Christ in John 17:21, "That they also may be one in us"?

Do not waste our time restating what I have already said, here. Do not chat and share like an intuitive woman. Do not give lame explanations. Do not give shallow speculation. Do not start talking about me. Just give an answer.
Do not waste my time restating what you have already said above. Do not give lame explanations. Do not give shallow speculation.

Just answer this: why are you so combative and insulting?

How have I insulted and been combative? I really am curious about such a question.

Perhaps your question is an example of looking at "how people seem to be."

If this isn't insulting and combative to you, therein lies the problem.

A perfect time of the year to unpack this question .
There is really nothing new under the sun.
Remember that many of the " Christians " welcoming Jesus into Jerusalem, laying palm branches and their clothes before him as he rode in on a donkey, were also present a short time later screaming for his blood before Piolet.
And so it remains to this day that if Jesus were to arrive on the scene tomorrow to proclaim judgment many churches currently calling themselves " faithful " to him would be calling for him to be quickly silenced .
The Bible doesn't say that "many of the " Christians " welcoming Jesus into Jerusalem, laying palm branches and their clothes before him as he rode in on a donkey, were also present a short time later screaming for his blood before Piolet".

Firstly, there were no "Christians" welcoming Jesus into Jerusalem, as there were not yet any Christians.

Secondly, there is no evidence that they were the same people "screaming for his blood before Piolet" (Pilate?)

Thirdly, your statement "And so it remains to this day that if Jesus were to arrive on the scene tomorrow to proclaim judgment many churches currently calling themselves " faithful " to him would be calling for him to be quickly silenced " is pure speculative nonsense.

I would suggest that you stop fantasizing about who Christians were at the time of Christ and who they are today, as you're simply wrong. Are the people you describe a reflection of your own attitude: condemning and judgmental?

Should people who post in here do those things? Yes? No?

Do people who post those kind of things
show mindlessness?
