Say what? That was perfectly good humorous reference to the Matrix. Where Morpheous did much specking about the construct, so I don't see where you are offended by it? I like Morpheous, don't you? Don't be so thin skinned Brother.
And the end time events which come to pass are not printed into the construct of the chapters in the same exact order of when they will happen. Some is, some isn't.
The Hebrews may have had tribulations in life, but they were not a part of the great tribulation, like Jesus spoke of in Matthew 24.
Believe as you wish, but if you think the Rapture is a long long way off then you wont be ready for it if it happens next saturday. All people on earth and all of His Bride have tribulations in life and problems great and small every day. But that is not the great tribulation, where things get so bad that it says, a time on earth of evil and great trouble such as never before been seen on earth, nor ever will be again.
So there is a huge difference between tribulation such as is common to man...and the great tribulation, (the time of Jacobs trouble). And if you think that Jesus would let His Bride to go through that, then you don't know Him very well. Not her. Not the Bride. Our Lord Jesus is much nicer than to do something like that! I know Him that much.

We are eternal beings. We are not finished or perfected yet, but it's coming soon.
Then we get to learn how to live like spirit beings! So we have lots of time, because this generation will see Jesus.
So being a spiritual eternal being and learning the spirit protocols is not hard overall...they say the first 100 years are the hardest!

What is the Matrix? So you haven't seen the movie, so you don't get it what I said and now think I am insulting you. That's a mistake! Dig up the movie and watch it. (The Matrix 1999) Keanu Reeves, Carrie Ann Moss, Lawrnece Fishburne...and then you will see that it was more of a compliment than an insult.
I miss the days when men could talk to each other like men. When you didn't have to worry about hurting some poor mans feelings. Me and my friends used to play the dozens with each other and we were tight friends. We could even have a scrap in the morning and we were best friends again in the afternoon.
How in the world can don't be too thin skinned be an insult? That's how women think. Tell you what, if I offened you so much, go ahead and take a dig at me. Then we'llall laugh and get back on topic? Ok?
Sure I know that. I was merely making the distinction between trials & tribulations, and the Great Tribulation spoken of in scripture. Everyone has trials and tribulations. We are promised tears and suffering on this earth. But that doesn't mean that Jesus will let His Bride go through the Great Tribulation. They are different.
Just a difference of degree, that is a world of difference!

Isn't that interesting? She made herself ready. This is not to say that the Lord does not do refining and so forth on His own. But I can look around me and I see some Christians who are pressing in, and I see others who are not pressing in. So some are making themselves ready and some are not. The 5 wise virgins have prepared for her part in making ready and the 5 foolish virgins have not.

Yes there are several places in the Bible that don't refer to refining... but it is in there.
5 wise virgins who had to wait through the dark(tribulation) for the bridegroom.
Thanks for providing a reference that argues against the imminent rapture.
Prepare for tribulation and be ready to wait for your redemption in the middle of the night.... not at dusk, or the beginning of troubles.

Morpheous is one of the heros of the story, and he talks about the construct in the movie. You actually sounded just like him there for a minute. So when you mentioned the construct it made me think of Morpheous.

I also agree with the She makes herself ready scripture. I just thought you were making it sound too much like a gift from heaven thing and not something that the Bride has to work for herself. The Bride has plenty of responsibility!

Where are the 5 wise virgins in the Bible? Same place you found it.
Some people love to play games. Ezekiel chapter 13, God hates the fly away doctrine. False brethren are not written in the Israel memorial book. Their going to Hell. Jesus hates false teachings and false doctrine. Psalm chapter 50. God means business. Those who promote false doctrine and fairytales. Weak minded people rely on the rapture theory. Dont have the brass horns to stand up to satan. Mark chapter 13 and revelation 9:5. .Jesus shortened the time to 5 month period for the elect sakes. Second thessalonians chapter 2, the son of perdition is satan. Hes coming 6th trump to Jerusalem, 5 month period. Anyone teaching people false doctrine will have nice walk onto the lake of fire. Psalm chapter 37, the wicked are blotted out. Hebrews chapter 12, our God is a consuming fire. Chaff is useless. Wheat you store in barn. Chaff is only good for fuel for fire. Denominations like Catholicism or jehovah witnesses or mormons, better repent and conform to God's standard. Jesus will hold shepherds accountable for misleading and lying to people. Anyone in position to plant seeds or leaders of churches, they're accountable to God. Fake shepherds will follow satan into lake of fire. This isn't game. Jesus will pass the death sentence on judgement day to fake preachers.

There is no Rapture in scripture so I can’t show it to you. There is the Resurrection followed by Judgement. The Rapture theory doesn’t include the Judgement.

Jesus comes two more times. Once in the air to gather His Bride. Once to the earth to take over and institute the Millenial reign. All the scriptures are there if you read them right.
One trip the Lord will ahow up like a thief n the night, by surprise. His 2nd trip you can almost set your watch to His coming by watching current events.
