years???????
And what is the point? I said I don't understand you and then your statements become even more cryptic?years
No.an avreage life 100 years you have to wait to get to heaven.
So what is with the insults?
Who said that chapters are in chronological order?
So the Hebrews in Egypt didn't go through the plagues?
So did Noah and his family not have to go through the flood?
So did Lot not have to endure the ravages of the fire and brimstone?
So did the disciples have to endure the storm while Jesus slept?
Yes they went through it all... but were kept safe through the storm.
Jesus keeps His bride safe THROUGH times of trouble.
Yet your grammar was not clear. Also what 100 years?
avreage 100 life `?
Still an insult... and another with the thin skinned comment.Say what? That was perfectly good humorous reference to the Matrix. Where Morpheous did much specking about the construct, so I don't see where you are offended by it? I like Morpheous, don't you? Don't be so thin skinned Brother.
And the end time events which come to pass are not printed into the construct of the chapters in the same exact order of when they will happen. Some is, some isn't.
Not what I was saying. And I think you know that. The Hebrews may have had tribulations in life, but they were not a part of the great tribulation, like Jesus spoke of in Matthew 24.
Just a difference of degree.Believe as you wish, but if you think the Rapture is a long long way off then you wont be ready for it if it happens next saturday. All people on earth and all of His Bride have tribulations in life and problems great and small every day. But that is not the great tribulation, where things get so bad that it says, a time on earth of evil and great trouble such as never before been seen on earth, nor ever will be again.
Not really a big difference. Ask a Jew about Auschwitz. So there is a huge difference between tribulation such as is common to man...and the great tribulation, (the time of Jacobs trouble). And if you think that Jesus would let His Bride to go through that, then you don't know Him very well. Not her. Not the Bride. Our Lord Jesus is much nicer than to do something like that! I know Him that much.
What sort of theology is this that you are talking about? We are eternal beings. We are not finished or perfected yet, but it's coming soon.
Then we get to learn how to live like spirit beings! So we have lots of time, because this generation will see Jesus.
So being a spiritual eternal being and learning the spirit protocols is not hard overall...they say the first 100 years are the hardest!
Still an insult... and another with the thin skinned comment.
What is the "Matrix"?
Not what I was saying. And I think you know that.
Just a difference of degree.
Jesus will refine His bride... is that not biblical?
What sort of theology is this that you are talking about?
Please try to form a thought that others can follow.
If you think you are being clever... I don't see it.
Oh... you are making jokes... Maybe that would be better if you said so.Whoa, tough audience tonight. When the don't get your humor then it's time to shift gears.
Sorry man, I didn't mean to offend you.
Oh... a movie reference. So you didn't read the about me section on this website... I am a Mennonite. We don't go in much for shows at movie houses. Morpheus sounds like a person who changes them selves... a two faced person. Not my kind of thing. What is the Matrix? So you haven't seen the movie, so you don't get it what I said and now think I am insulting you. That's a mistake! Dig up the movie and watch it. (The Matrix 1999) Keanu Reeves, Carrie Ann Moss, Lawrnece Fishburne...and then you will see that it was more of a compliment than an insult.
"play the dozens"? I have no idea what kind of games you played as a kid... but count me out.I miss the days when men could talk to each other like men. When you didn't have to worry about hurting some poor mans feelings. Me and my friends used to play the dozens with each other and we were tight friends. We could even have a scrap in the morning and we were best friends again in the afternoon.
Sexist comment. How in the world can don't be too thin skinned be an insult? That's how women think.
I've been threatened to be removed from these forums too many times to fall for that one. That would be entrapment.Tell you what, if I offened you so much, go ahead and take a dig at me. Then we'llall laugh and get back on topic? Ok?
So if you know that isn't what I meant then you are being intentionally disingenuous?Sure I know that. I was merely making the distinction between trials & tribulations, and the Great Tribulation spoken of in scripture. Everyone has trials and tribulations. We are promised tears and suffering on this earth. But that doesn't mean that Jesus will let His Bride go through the Great Tribulation. They are different.
Just of degree.Just a difference of degree, that is a world of difference!
Sounds biblical to me.I don't think it is biblical.
Yes there are several places in the Bible that don't refer to refining... but it is in there.Revelation 19:7
Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.../
Isn't that interesting? She made herself ready. This is not to say that the Lord does not do refining and so forth on His own. But I can look around me and I see some Christians who are pressing in, and I see others who are not pressing in. So some are making themselves ready and some are not. The 5 wise virgins have prepared for her part in making ready and the 5 foolish virgins have not.

Sounds biblical to me.
Zech 13:9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.
5 wise virgins who had to wait through the dark(tribulation) for the bridegroom.
Where are the 5 wise virgins in the Bible? Same place you found it.Morpheous is one of the heros of the story, and he talks about the construct in the movie. You actually sounded just like him there for a minute. So when you mentioned the construct it made me think of Morpheous.
You missed my point.
Yes, I agree with this.
I also agree with the She makes herself ready scripture. I just thought you were making it sound too much like a gift from heaven thing and not something that the Bride has to work for herself. The Bride has plenty of responsibility!
Where is that at in scripture?
That’s the Resurrection and Judgement.According to Revelation... that is what it says.
And Rapture. That’s the Resurrection and Judgement.
There is no Rapture in scripture so I can’t show it to you. There is the Resurrection followed by Judgement. The Rapture theory doesn’t include the Judgement. And Rapture.
If not... show the passage in Revelation that is, please.
