How about Jesus? I know that Jesus is disregarded which makes him an afterthought.
God says in Psalms how he would make weapons against the wicked.
And he comes in after the 7th trumpet.

So my answer is Jesus.
 
No, not Jesus. Perhaps I've been to oblique with my clues. So here's another one ...

3. I'm an afterthought.

4. I got one verse in the whole Bible ... for using a cattle prod.
