Christ the King .... That is the first time I have ever used one... I had no idea what they were... but I guess they are basically emoji's that move... LOL

Are you staying out of trouble?? LOL

Good morning, Networkers...it is 6:51, 2C, and cloudy in SW Ontario.
This is the day that the Lord has made...I will rejoice and be glad in it, as He made it with you and I in mind...He's like that, you know. He thinks of everything! Morning, P7, Devin. come visit, if you'd like, sometime.

it's 6:55 am... It's a balmy minus 3 degrees... and how the heck can you tell if it's cloudy Norman ??? Good grief!!!!!!!!! It's still dark out... Do you have some kind of special NIGHT vision thingy going on??
I miss Devin...

Minus 3... Tsss u guys are insane...
How cold does it get there at night time mid winter???
Well... Norman lives south of me... so he gets off EASY.... I on the other hand live NORTH... and on the lake... so it's nothing to have to deal with between minus 20 to minus 40. Usually it's in the middle range of both those numbers.

I'm editing this... as I don't want to give mis-information... My answer was how I have experienced winter... I think my numbers might have been a bit high... WE don't often get the frigid minus 40 temps... It's usually on average in the minus 20's... Being on the lake... we get what's called the lake effect and our temps on the waterfront can range about 10 degrees colder due to the wind.

Thats crazy... We are complaining here if it gets to zero overnight and we have frost on our car windows...

And what happens if i wake up and i can't get my car out cos its under snow???
Im dreading the answer

Christ the King ... Don't listen to Norman when it comes to the NORTH... He has a bit of a bug phobia thingy going on... and he thinks bugs outnumber the humans here... I have tried all summer to calm his fears... but NOPE... He has it stuck in that little head of his that I live in BUG CENTRAL.

The city where I live spends a lot of money on snow maintenance... That means snow removal and relocation... YEP.. .they take the snow when the banks get too high and transport it some where... That does not happen EVERY year... but it does happen... Pretty funny when you think about it.

But your warm season is here at this time right???

If i had to dig out my car out of snow to get to work, i would call in sick...

We're coming into summer. Down here its not warm enough to go for a swim at the beach, 25 degrees would be average from what people tell me... On the mainland its warmer so i will be enjoying the beach this summer

I find this geography and weather stuff so amazing... I can't imagine celebrating a Christmas that was HOT... I just can't wrap my brain around that.

I absolutely love that we have 4 distinct seasons... Fall is my favorite because of all the vibrant colours of the leaves. It's also cooler... I don't much enjoy winter as an older person ( with no vehicle.)... but I do like the season of snow.

What about your heater?
Is it gas, wood, electric?
Is it on all night?
I can't even imagine what minus 40 feels like
Would my urine freeze?

Most personal residences have snow blowers... BIG powerful machines that blow the snow out... Shovelling so that you can get the car out of your driveway is all part of the experience... the city maintains the streets.
