What about your heater?
Is it gas, wood, electric?
Is it on all night?
I can't even imagine what minus 40 feels like
Would my urine freeze?
You are thinking ARCTIC weather I think... Not sure what the temp has to be for hot water to be thrown in the air and instantly turn into snow... It has to be at least minus 50's for that ( I think )... I watched a documentary on Siberia once and they did that experiment of throwing a pot of water in the air... and it came down as snow.

I have an electric heater that is professionally installed into my wall... It's not just one you can buy at the store.
I live in a converted garage... and so my protection is not the greatest.. plus I have three large windows in my living space... ANYWAYS... this little heater is AMAZING... they invested in a good one... Not sure what the main house has... for heat... as my suite is a separate unit.

it's 6:55 am... It's a balmy minus 3 degrees... and how the heck can you tell if it's cloudy Norman ??? Good grief!!!!!!!!! It's still dark out... Do you have some kind of special NIGHT vision thingy going on??
I miss Devin...
It's on my computer...

Most personal residences have snow blowers... BIG powerful machines that blow the snow out... Shovelling so that you can get the car out of your driveway is all part of the experience... the city maintains the streets.

Blowers... Its still too cold to go to work but... LoL... I would stay in bed.
You guys must have the thickest blankets... And your heating bill must be expensive

I don't pay any utilities... so I don't know but I imagine it is expensive... I try to hold out as long as I can before turning on my heater... Once it gets turned on... It stays on till Spring... I just turned it on about a week ago.

Anyway i better get into bed...
Its almost 11.30pm here and my feet are cold now after talking about Canadian winters... LoL

God bless

Where she lives, I believe the heating fuel of choice is whale blubber...it doesn't take much to heat an igloo. Lol

Since I'm the tenant... I don't have to shovel... I have but my wrists can't take it ... that is where my arthritis is.. I have no strength in my wrists. Shovelling is very hard work.

Well that was quite nice... having a visit from Christ the King... The topic was a bit "cold" LOL ( I crack myself up )
However... warm hearted conversation...

Anyways... Norman Dear... or Dear Norman... which ever you prefer...
I am going to change the subject here and repost my puzzle steps... just to refresh you memory...
I am on Step 5. It's coming along nicely... LOL

Step 1. Pick a puzzle.
Step 2. Stare at the puzzle box for 24 hours. This is very important as it helps me to BOND with it.
Step 3. Touch the puzzle box... sometimes I pet the box... but that is just me... LOL
Step 4. Open the puzzle box.
Step 5. Stare at the puzzle pieces in the bag that comes inside the puzzle box.
Step 6. Empty the puzzle pieces from the bag onto a large surface.
Step 7. Sort and separate the border pieces.
Step 8. Sort the pieces according to colour.
Step 9. Stare at the laid out puzzle pieces.
Step 10. Begin the SLEWING process.

Don't bend your wrists...put your back into it...I shoveled last winter...once! I felt alive. And I didn't even hurt myself! I'm gonna do winter this year. I'll approach it like a puzzle. I tell ya, I'm really not old...just physically on in years. This is how I see myself...
