Divine Healing; Why some don’t get healed

It‘s about healing, any kind of healing that prevents us from living the abundant life Jesus paid the price for us to live.

Physical healing is certainly intended.

Peter was quoting Isaiah.

The curse and cause of sin was sickness and disease.

Physical healing from sickness or disease is the evidence sin has been forgiven and removed.

Example:

Then they came to Him, bringing a paralytic who was carried by four men. And when they could not come near Him because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where He was. So when they had broken through, they let down the bed on which the paralytic was lying.
When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.”
And some of the scribes were sitting there and reasoning in their hearts, “Why does this Man speak blasphemies like this? Who can forgive sins but God alone?”
But immediately, when Jesus perceived in His spirit that they reasoned thus within themselves, He said to them, “Why do you reason about these things in your hearts? Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Arise, take up your bed and walk’? But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”—He said to the paralytic, “I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.” Immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went out in the presence of them all, so that all were amazed and glorified God, saying, “We never saw anything like this!”
Mark 2:3-11

  • But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”—He said to the paralytic, “I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.

The proof that the man’s sins were forgiven was his physical healing.

Read Deuteronomy 28:15-68 for a more detailed explanation of the curse of the law being sickness.

Jesus paid the price for our healing. It’s always God’s will to heal us, because Jesus paid the price by His stripes for us to be healed.

Jesus went everywhere proving this by healing all who were oppressed of the devil; physical healing.

I understand that the Pentecostals/charimaniacs teach that. Its big money for them. Jesus also want you rich.

This is your opinion and the Bible as well as Pastors, theologians and scholars do not agree.

You don’t need to bother what “Pastor” and “theologians” and false teachers believe, like John MacArthur, who has whole denominations carried away with their cessationism doctrine of unbelief.

Not only that, but their false doctrine of Calvinism and OSAS, of Reformed Theology is nothing more than doctrines of demons.

Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,
1 Timothy 4:1

Read the book of Acts, that’s how the Church is supposed to function, in the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit, with signs and wonders and casting out devils.

You would be surprised to know that many don’t believe in casting out devils or healing or miracles.

Cessationism.

Thanks to false teachers like John McArthur.

Show proof he is a false teacher, you cannot.

Show proof that the gifts are still in use today, you cannot.

He has blasphemed the Holy Spirit several times.

Calling the Spirit by which people operate in healings and the gifts of the Spirit, the devil.

Show proof what he teaches on cessationism is false.

Satan comes as an angel of light.

I mean you think Kathryn Kuhlman actually healed people.

Hey believe as you will.

No.
The oldest arminist Methodist church that is older then any modern pentecostal church in America .the wesleyans taught that and it isn't in their doctrine and hasnt been since the late 1800s.

The Wesleyan movement was underway just before Lexington and Concord .

The azure street revival fell apart and out of that came a.b. Simpsons Christian and missionary alliance who teach that one can be baptized by the Holy ghost and not speak In an unknown language and a.b. Simpson felt that the others were out there .

Many a local black churches here are pentacostals .
I pass three of them going to my church and I can walk to those three from my church .

Two share a lot .God called that ?

Then there's the seven mountain apostolic apostasy where well we have modern day apostles .these also will have apostles as women .

JLB
JLB, you show no proof.

John Macarthur preaches against the very doctrines you believe in, so of course, in your eyes, he is a false teacher.

What you believe is simply not true.

Isaiah 53:5 But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our peace fell upon Him, And by His wounds we are healed.

No where in this verse, or in chapter 53, does it imply anything about physical healing.

People have built a false doctrine on physical healing out of this verse.

Just wrong

You would have to proof what spirit is using these people for false healings.

Power of suggestion.

I mean you think Kathryn Kuhlman actually healed people.

Millions of documented healings by many doctors. She would insist that people go to their doctor and bring back certified proof from them before she counted it as an authentic healing.

Please show proof that all the doctors, hospitals and specialists that documented and certified the healings that the Holy Spirit did through her were not authentic.

I don't know any denomination that doesn't believe in demonic oppression.
Catholics have exorcists. They believe not only in demonic oppression, but possession.
The Catholics are not a good example. But we could do a survey here and ask how many attend churches that cast out demons. How many pastors know demonization when they encounter it?
If you mean that all healing comes from God, then I'd agree.
"The Beatiful Side of Evil" is a book about a christian who was involved in the occult before and wrote of healing does by the Enemy although they did not think that who was behind it.
But it does sound like you're making the sick person responsible for the fact that they are sick.
Bible believing Christians die every day.
If we were always healed, we'd never die.
Something has to cause death.
Since JLB knows something about healing, I doubt he believes this. This is thinking how it must be to work in praying for the sick and this does not reflect the reality.

Lot of people on were on her pay role getting rich.

God heals who He wants and in His time, if He so chooses to. I pray for healing for many people all the time. I work in a facility of mental health patients. I believe many of them are demon-possessed. I pray for these people and try show them love and kindness. I pray for their spiritual healing over their physical.

If you want to believe all that nonsense then you will. The Pentecostals/charismatics with their so-called healings, miracles and raising people from the dead are just leading people astray. The should be teaching Godly living, doctrine, sanctification and dealing with sin in ones life, not that Jesus wants you healthy and wealthy.

Its unbiblical and not productive for the Lord.

The charismatic movements have largely lost their way. A person I volunteer with is in one of many off shoots of that movement. Big danger? Sounds good. Seriously. Like some higher wisdom or something. Problem? Not based on scripture tradition or even sound reasoning. File this one under increasingly dangerous pseudo Christianity.

I don't see them as some here but they have problems

I have been around more then I would care to admit. They come off as very arrogant and having something other Christians do not (baptism of the Holy Spirit), they truly believe they are on a different level, you know, anointed and all that. They truly live by feelings and emotions and believe that is the work of the Holy Spirit.

I dunno 🤷‍♂️

It was just odd…ordained and in some sort of ministry…no sound scriptural basis for these apparently fresh insights. Thankful for my own discernment obviously. The bigger issue is rampant ministries with dangerous ideas. I was concerned about this individuals work with an especially vulnerable group of people.

There is a pursuit of exciting experiences, including spiritual ones. God is a means to an end, their pleasure.

These exciting experiences teach false doctrines. Example: when you feel the spirit come over you, and start speaking gibberish or go into a trance and rolling around on the floor, some bark like dogs. Kind of like slain in the spirit stuff.

A problem I have is that these sorts of movements feed into authoritarian and even fascist political movements. True story. International phenomenon not just a USA problem.
