I think there have been a total of two baby murderers murdered by firearm in the USA over the past 44 years since Roe v Wade as compared to the million plus infants murdered by abortionists every year in the USA.

The difference is that murder of infants by abortion is legal in the USA but not the murder of the infant murderers just like murder of Jews was legal in Nazi Germany. And, like the Nazis who targeted specific ethnic groups for murder,(Jews, Gypsies) Planned Parenthood targets ethnic minorities.

The main difference is that we have murdered many times the number of unwanted infants an the Nazis murdered unwanted Jews.

It allows me to feel justified in arresting, charging, trying and convicting the shooter for murder.
Does your paganism allow you to feel justified in the slaughter of millions of minority infants?

Yes, this is right. King David facing Goliath was an impossible situation and yet he took his little ol' time period AK and went out there and killed that big punk who was talking smack about our God. None of those other professional military men of the day could face him, because they knew better.

In today's world...us against the gub'mint is just as hopeless of a situation...and yet, we will prevail in the end because God be with us.

I'll be honest, Allen. I feel like you're either purposely baiting the participants into reacting, or you're being way too sensitive. To dirtfarmer's point, I see respectful disagreement. Are people spewing hate if they don't agree with you?
 
Back in post 4 I said bad guys broke in to our home.
Their shotgun blew a hole in the ceiling .. When John knocked him over chair.. i have always been happy John did not kill the guy... A short while later those thugs busted down the door of a old couple killed him raped her .. Had john killed that guy he may have saved that old couple..
We protect ourselves with many things.. coats . medicines .. heat and air conditioners .... door locks ... personal experience dead bolts break door casings .. common sense, healthy food... even looking over your shoulder .. Go for a walk in the park .. virus protection for the computer . any type of insurance ..
Any one who says to me .. I am not trusting in God, because i would use a gun for defense, yet that person uses any of the sort of things listed above has a double standard..

I suspect that someone who would say you are not trusting God has never been in a situation in which having a gun would have prevented violence.
If guns were unnecessary for protection then police wouldn't carry them.

OOOOH! The classes I took on how to make a bomb with household items. The military, some times, goes overboard with training. I'll bet you didn't know that you can make a concussion device using Flour for the explosive.
The Army had and has some neat stuff to know.

i dunno. clearly, im not a gun person. never have been, never will be. i have been attacked before and...i dunno. in that case, i dont know if a gun (or other weapon) would have been a good or bad thing, honestly. people get attacked, afterall. sometimes, a gun helps. other times, the situation ends up escalating beyond what might have happened otherwise.

i just see that nations w/ more stringent gun control laws have fewer people dying from gun-related violence. then again, the us is currently flooded with guns. a story hit a local paper somewhat recently about a place in part of the state where a dude was busted for stockpiling all kinds of guns, from all over the country, and selling them to shady people. guns he'd sold people had been involved in crimes all over the us. my best guess is that there's so many guns in the us right now, even if we put some kind of hardcore ban on guns, there'd be enough floating around for criminals and deviants to use for their purposes for decades to come.

what's interesting to me, just as a side note, is that violent crime rates are down overall in the us. i mean, even where i live, the crime rates have fallen enough for some much-needed sentencing reform. more probation for less serious crimes, they adjusted prison sentences for more serious crimes, in line with available data. good stuff. and yet...it seems like we have gun related --mass-- shootings on a fairly regular basis. that's frightening. its also frightening that its become so (relatively) common that its almost as if its becoming part of the culture now. what's that about?

In 1929, the Soviet Union established gun control. From 1929 to 1953, about 20 million dissidents, who were unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Germany established gun control beginning in 1919. In 1938 gun restrictions laws were changed to apply only to handguns. Also in 1938 Jews were barred from manufacturing and selling firearms, as well as from possessing any weapons, including knives. Then from 1939 to 1945, a total of 13 million Jews and others who were unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated.

Guns in the hands of honest citizens save lives and property and, yes, gun-control laws adversely affect only the law-abiding citizens.

During WW II the Japanese decided not to invade America because they knew most Americans were ARMED! (“There is an American with a gun behind every bade of grass!”)

Every able-bodied male in Switzerland is officially in the army reserve between the ages of 20 and 50. To insure that they are perform their duties if called on to do so:

- SWITZERLAND ISSUES EVERY RESERVIST A FULL-AUTOMATIC “ASSAULT WEAPON” WHICH HE KEEP N HIS HOME WITH HIS BASIC LOAD OF AMMUNITION!

- SWITZERLAND'S GOVERNMENT TRAINS EVERY ADULT, TO WHOM THEY ISSUE A WEAPON, ON HOW TO USE THAT WEAPON.

And yet: SWITZERLAND HAS THE LOWEST GUN RELATED CRIME RATE OF ANY CIVILIZED COUNTRY IN THE WORLD!!!

Maybe it’s the chocolate.
