I'M OLD!!!

Remember ratted hair? The bigger the better... :biggrin2

1964? 1965? 1966? :)

Blessings.

There are three things people loose when they get older - their sight, their hearing and... I can't remember the third one.

The TOG

Many men used to get their hair permed to cover male patterned baldness, while others just comb over the four remaining hairs near one of their ears. Vanity is a terrible sign of age. :rolleyes

Vanity does not get in the way of my aging.I do not color my hair.I do not wear makeup and I do not dress like I think I am 20 years old.

Or maybe get a short haircut anyway so no one will notice...
Yes for a man I think it looks nice to just get your hair cut short. Some men shave their head and that does not work for everyone. It takes alot of maintenace as well to keep it that way.I do not like toupees and weaves for men.It is just too obvious. For women cutting your hair short and parting it on the side and combing it over often looks nice.

Hair... :) ?

Two friends, both of them getting old, were talking. One of them still had a full head of hair and was making fun of the fact that the other was bald. The bald man replied "Something always happens to people's heads when they get old. What's happening to mine is on the outside."

I think that the book of Ecclesiastes is an ideal thought base when considering issues of ageing, etc. Kind of puts things into perspective.

Blessings.

farouk, plenty of the aged women have that hair style here. of course they also have had surgeries to make themselves look younger.

The sort of thing you like, then, especially for those of more mature years (even though the person in the picture isn't)...

Blessings.
I might be old but that picture pretty much nails it farouk. That is very close to the way I wear my hair.I do not like hair.If I could get away with shaving it and maybe wearing a pink ribbon on my head I would do it. :)
