It’s not biblical!

I suspect you thought Jesus was quoting something extra-Biblical that showed 'scripture alone' was wrong.
Scripture alone is wrong because the Scriptures do not teach it. To believe in Scripture alone would mean you are violating the very you are claiming to adhere to. Furthermore, Scripture itself explicitly says the word of God is not confined to the pages of Scripture. For example...

1 Thessalonians 2:23 ---> And we also thank God constantly for this, that when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men but as what it really is, the word of God, which is at work in you believers.

2 Thessalonians 2:15 ---> So then, brethren, stand firm and hold to the traditions which you were taught, whether by word of mouth or by letter from us.

Luke 10:16 ---> Whoever listens to you listens to me, and whoever rejects you rejects me, and whoever rejects me rejects the one who sent me.

Hebrews 13:7 ---> Remember your leaders, those who spoke the word of God to you...

As a side note, St. Paul when beyond the Scriptures and used pagan philosophy to make theological distinctions about the Person of Christ and actually quotes from several pagan philosophers. He even has our Blessed Lord himself quoting a Greek pagan poet when recounting his conversion story!

God bless.

I never saw this...

Is the Bishop to be obeyed.
Priests and Deacons are required to obey him.
Me...
In what way would I need to obey?
I don't have a spiritual advisor.
I meant as the local teacher of the people having care for our souls, they closed the other thread where you asked do I teach rica, no not a teacher only do forums thanks

The Protestant Bible is all I need as far as official scripture goes. Preaching and teaching is fine and accepted as long as it does not contradict official scripture. The misguided teachings of Mary worship is a fine example of what happens when people decide extra-Biblical 'information' is to be on par with official scripture.

I suspect you thought Jesus was quoting something extra-Biblical that showed 'scripture alone' was wrong.
No Christ and the apostles were quoting scripture the word of God
Example:

Jn 20:22 When he had said this, he breathed on them; and he said to them: Receive ye the Holy Ghost.

Wisdom 15:11 Forasmuch as he knew not his maker and him that inspired into him the soul that worketh, and that breathed into him a living spirit.

And I think the original KJV and Protestant bibles had these books and chapters like the faith story of Susana in Dan 13 until the English Bible society deleted them by the tradition of men. Thanks

The Protestant Wycliffe Bible has them, no we oppose the 16th century new doctrine (novelty) of the “Bible alone” 1st cos Luther never had authority to make doctrine, 2nd cos the scripture and Christ establish the authority of the apostles in the church.

Jesus Christ continues HIS ministry in His new covenant church thru Peter, the apostles, and their successors with the same mission, power, and authority!

Church / apostles are the means of transmission of the truths revealed by God in Christ. Matt 5:14 Matt 16:18-19 Matt 18:18 Matt 18:17 Matt 28:19 Jn 20:21-23 acts 1:8 acts 8:31 Lk 1:4

Jn 14:6 refers to Christ and not us, we are not and cannot be the only arbiter of truth, nor can we through private judgment (spiritual pride) give meaning and interpret scripture or decide doctrine, let humble ourselves and obey Christ and His church and be taught. Lk 1:4 Matt 11:29

The prophet speaks for God, to believe the prophet is to believe God, to reject the prophet is to reject God who sent Him. Isa 53:1 who hath believed our report.

To believe the apostles is to believe Christ who sent them to teach and sanctify all men, Matt 28:19 to reject the apostles is to reject Christ.
To accept the church and her teaching is to accept Christ, to reject the church is to reject Christ who established the church.

The person of an apostle is endowed with power and authority, not only their writings.

2 John 1:12
Having many things to write unto you, I would not write with paper and ink: but I trust to come unto you, andspeak face to face, that our joy may be full.

The Catholic church has to resist scripture alone in order to defend it's un-Biblical beliefs and practices.

You can't deny my use of the word 'un-Biblical' because you are the one defending the Catholic church's authority to have un-Biblical beliefs and practices.

What does this mean? Care for souls?
Spiritual Fathers have care for our souls!

Acts 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

Jn 21:17 feed my sheep:

Heb 13:7 Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.

Heb 13:17 Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they care for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.

1 Tim 1:2 Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.

Gal 4:19 My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you

1 John 2
My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not.

That makes Paul and John spiritual fathers, pastors of our souls!

I know what it says, what does it mean? How do they "care" for souls?

Not that protestants don't .I submit with the Roman traditions it's more then just that .

You know a lot.
90% of my catholic friends don't know much about their faith. It's unfortunate I think.
Not sure why.

One at a time please

Christ established the one true church to teach and sanctify all men unto salvation Matt 28:19
The church existed before the New Testament, the church exercised Christ authority before the New Testament the church wrote the New Testament by the inspiration of the HS thanks

You're straying from the original point. I will look again but it seemed you were trying to make the case that Jesus was suggesting that the word of God is not limited to scripture.
Matt 16:17 Lk 1:3 and where God called abram, Noah, Moses and the prophets was not thru scripture
But public revelation is closed Thanks

Can you point me to a verse which states the Protestant Bible is all you need as far as official Scripture goes?

Can you point me to a verse which states what is official Scripture?

If you cannot, then you violate your own rule of adhering to the Scripture alone. You cannot arrive at the Scriptura, without violating the sola.
The misguided teachings of Mary worship is a fine example of what happens when people decide extra-Biblical 'information' is to be on par with official scripture.
The only group of people I know in history who worshipped Mary were the Collyridians back in the mid fourth century. The Catholic Church opposed this group, led by bishop Epiphanius, and this heresy died out. Are you aware of another sect who you are referencing?

Could you post something from official Catholic teaching supporting your claim that Mary is worshipped.
This really does become tiring to hear.
