If those who think it has already come what happened to the seals,bowls and trumpets?Or are those just something that is allegory or spiritualized?

That is true.Except Jesus into your life and give your life to Him and live your life as a good servant to the Lord.So when you go to the judgment Jesus will say this to you:
Matthew 25:23
23 His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’
From these words it tells me the more faithful you have been to Him the more responsibility you will be given to help Christ rule the world.

Aren't some of us going to be in for a rude awakening if it turns out someone like.... oh, say... Joel Osteen, is found to have been more faithful than us?

For some they think there is a separate event they call 'the rapture' that they need to be ready for.
For me I think there will be an event where the dead in Christ rise and those alive will be caught up, and I need to be ready for that event.
We just see that happening at different times in the future.

I don't know if any of that will be a "rude awakening" because we will have different emotions in heaven than we did on earth and we may not remember our life on earth.If we do it would be a very,very faint memory of it.

Hi Brother Willie T. There are different rewards pertaining to our walk in Christ.

Therein lies another "rub". Many people (and not just Catholics) honestly think this means they have to check every thought, action, and even dreams on a constant basis... moment-by-moment... in order to have made and/or kept ourselves in a state of readiness.................. OR ELSE !!!!

So, are you working in a competition to "get yours"? Of course I know you aren't, but that kind of thinking leads to that sort of thing.... you see it in some people's posts all the time.
