The Ramble On thread

Ramble on thread? (Why didn't I notice this thread before?) I suppose some of you think I ramble on. Well, I don't. Okay, so maybe sometimes I do get a little carried away, but after a hard day's work, I suppose you could all have a little indulgence. Well, maybe indulgence isn't the right word, but the other day a fellow asked me how I was. I was okay, though I was suffering from this pain in my back. Have you ever had a pain in your back? Unpleasant, huh? I'll tell you what's unpleasant - it's unpleasant when your modem keeps dropping you from the internet, not that I had that problem until recently. It makes you wonder how they can put a defective product out on the market like that. I went out to the mall to have the modem's filter replaced, but that didn't solve the problem. Of course, the coin store is near the modem store. They buy and sell silver, though I have no interest in buying or selling silver.

They say its helps circulate the warm air, but it doesn't. It just makes the air colder and me cold :)

Probably people of the same thought pattern as Thais who turn off the fans or air con then sit there with a magazine fanning themselves while saying
"ooh lon lon lon" (oh hot,hot hot)
These are the same people who in the middle of Hot season put on Gloves a scarf and a jacket to go out side to stop their skin from browning! (Dark skin is frowned on here because it means you re poor and work in the rice fields. It's an us against them thing from rich Bangkokians who eat rice without a thought of how it get's to their plate!!!!)
After donning said attire, they once again say "lon lon lon maak" (hot hot hot very) (Yes Thais have that horrible habit of stating the extremely obvious about the weather as we westerners do)
In winter,the reverse. Wear next to nothing and say now now now (cold cold cold) sometimes with maak maak(very very) added for extra effect!
It does my head in some days.

I want to post a video I found on Youtube about how atheists view christians...and how christians view atheists I suppose. At least according to this one guy. But where on the forum is an appropriate place to post it?
 
One of the more interesting places we put one of our radio cabinets this week.... inside a substation.
The little poles to the right carry 13,200 volts. The BIG line on the left carries 138,000 volts.

I wish I could have been there when they stacked the tower... one wrong move and sssssnnnnnooooooorrrrrrrrrtttttt.
