Paul was a great man, but he wasn’t meant to be deified, I don’t think.

I'd like to point back to what Josh said:

If Paul's letters are corrupted then that means he was corrupted, if he was corrupted then that means those with him were corrupted, so Luke has lost the ability to be the infallible Word of God.

Now you are left with 3 Gospels

One thing he didn't realize was that by casting aspersions on the integrity of Paul he also called into question the integrity of the whole New Testament. Because if Paul was not right then Luke may have recorded incorrect or even evil teachings or deeds of Paul in Acts, and if he recorded errant material in Acts then he may have recorded errant material in his Gospel of Luke, in which case many of the things that we thought we knew about Jesus are also called into doubt. Accusations of God's Apostles are not to be taken lightly.

A great man who was called by Christ to contradict Him? Is our God "unintelligent" that He would choose a man to come and contradict Him? Your reflections of Paul are reflected onto the Man who hired Him, Jesus Christ the Lord.

The teachings of Jesus continue into all the other books as well, including the Old Testament. They are all infallible.

No, since Luke who walked with Paul wrote Luke, you only have 3 "pure" Gospels. Jason explained why John is no longer a "pure" Gospel.

Now you only have the Books of Matthew and Mark.
 
We don’t have to wait till we die to be happy and secure. We can be happy and secure now if we obey the teachings of Jesus.

but they were written 30 to 50 yrs after the fact!

paul was converted not long after the lord's death on the cross. maybe a year or two.

so think about it.

No one I know deifies him. He was brilliant, but he was godly and a great example to emulate. I thank God for his life, and for how he was mightily used by God. Don't you?

Obedience come with a blessing, to say we will find happiness forever is unScriptural and defies the Gospels of Christ. The Christ who stated we will have pain, suffering, and persecution in this world because of Him.
 
Therefore, people, my advice to you is read the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, and do what Jesus told you to do.

Christians are! However, you'd think all believers would share the same joy in having the anointed epistles and Revelation, not to mention the Old Testament, pointing to JESUS AS LORD!

What is wrong with these people? There is definitely some hindrance there.

If we obey the entire word, including what Jesus teaches us through the epistles also, then we will not only have peace and contentment, but we will develop spiritual strength and wisdom as well. Kindergarten is for kids. We are encouraged to bite into the meat of the word. There is much meat in the sum total of scripture. Ignoring what God gives for spiritual food is WRONG, and in effect, makes one spiritually undernourished.
