Paul reveals the MYSTERY doctrine to us. It was a mystery until the Lord Jesus revealed it to Paul. Mystery doctrine is for the Church(anyone who has made a Non meritorious decision for Christ.) If we exclude Paul and what He teaches about the mystery, the 4 Gospels will, for the most part, remain a mystery to us.Sometimes I have resisted temptation and sometimes I haven't. I have learned that life is far better when I DO resist temptation. Do you consider that a prideful statement? gr8grace3 seems to be implying that he is a mature Christian, and that I am not.
Col 1:26~~that is, the mystery which has been hidden from the past ages and generations, but has now been manifested to His saints,
Eph 6:19~~and pray on my behalf, that utterance may be given to me in the opening of my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel,
Eph 3:3~~that by revelation there was made known to me the mystery, as I wrote before in brief.
Paul and the other epistles teach us how to apply, discern and order what Jesus taught in the 4 Gospels.
