Y'know, no one can accuse me of being hard headed, just of wearing a hard hat.
I changed my mind about something and no one noticed.
I said I am now post trib and instead of people discussing it with me sensibly, instead I was pounded on my head until everyone thought I was dead, and then they all just moved on.
I have recovered.
Now, I read 1 Thessalonians 4 and then continue into 1 Thessalonians 5.
It talks about what everyone says is a pre trib rapture and then continues to talk about the day of the Lord.
So is this pre trib rapture the day of the Lord or are they different days?
And if you say they are different days, then how and why do you separate Chapters 4 and 5?
I find that believing post trib makes more and more sense all the time.

I would say no trib our future as well context of Matthew 24

False doctrines are running wild, all designed to attack our faith.. Had a friend that quit speaking to me 6 years ago because i told him the rapture doctrine was a doctrine of demons..

I thought you wore your helmet, because you was seeing aliens, like on the movie, "Signs", lol.
You know some always say, that 1Thess.4 Proves the rapture, but no where does it say, before the tribulation.
My belief, when Jesus comes back, the good bad and the ugly will all be changed, the ones that are dead in Christ, shall come with Him, He will gather His Elect, to the Temple in Jerusalem, and reign with Him during the Millenium.
The day of the Lord, is the millennium.
2Peter 3: 8-12
One day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

The Great Tribulation is written of, intimately, in Matt. 25, and in many other places. In essence, it is the "dividing" of the world of mankind from Satan and his messengers, which are the only two parties involved, that will be divided.

So "who" that Great Tribulation will be disturbing for should be clearly in sight. It is also known as the 'time of Jacob's trouble.' Again, this picture is highly symbolic of the separation of mankind from the overlords of the flesh, Satan and his messengers. This is the heart of the matters of present tribulations and The Great Tribulation.

We all enter God's Kingdom through tribulations. These are required. But the final or Great Tribulation is much different, as it is the last one, and deals with the root of the problems of mankind, which are not accounts of "just mankind." It is or at least should not be "scary" for believers. BUT, that is not the "whole" story. There is a part of all of us, in the " evil infringements and influences" upon our own flesh, that do fear and tremble, greatly, over this matter.

When the demons spoke, they spoke of that time to come:

Matthew 8:29
And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?

The Great Tribulation speaks of their permanent dividing away from mankind, and them being sent to the fires of hell, exactly as Jesus depicted in Matt. 25, in the separation of sheep, from goat. Mankind are the sheep, they are the goat.

What about evil people? It sounds like you're saying every human being is saved at the end and the only ones who are separated out as evil and destroyed are the demons.

In the "order" of agreement, I'd like to think that most believers could come to see that the 'end time' matters are at a minimum, about the end of Satan and his messengers.

Is there really any believer who can't see this much? I suppose that there still is, unfortunately. Knowing this much to be a fact, that is where I direct my attentions.

I see the Great Tribulation as quite a glorious point in "time," knowing what the outcome is meant to be.

2 Corinthians 7:4
Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying of you: I am filled with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation.

I am, likewise, thrilled to no end over this matter.

Yeah, but back to the question I asked: Is the end Judgment about destroying evil people, too, and not just demons?

How you and I see people are quite different. I think we've already plumbed those sights sufficiently. I see people "and myself" exactly as Paul saw himself:

Romans 7:21
I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.

In this light I understand that the "final destruction" of evil will transpire quite close to home. Closer than most are willing to move to.

Romans 16:20
And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

I believe the devil and his messengers will be universally in the LoF forever. On that count I'd suspect we agree, as would most believers.
You leave me no choice but to conclude that you are a Universalist, meaning you believe all people will be saved.

You can conclude anything you want. Nobody put either of us in the "eternal damnation judgment" chair for other people, period. And many major "christian orthodox" sects recognize this position. And I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't goad me on the subject, as we can't discuss loving our neighbors as ourselves here anyway.
