Woman on the Beast

Why are you so hung up now on Rev 12. You asked about names blasphemes.

Is it blaspheme to worship for God the IMAGE of a MAN? Yes or No?
Still waiting for your answer. Where does it mention the names of blasphemy and the ten horns in Rev 12:1-6? until you answer my question we can not move on.

Rev 12:1-6 the woman and the dragon
Rev 12:7-17 Satan thrown down to earth

John is shown a great sign in heaven as he sees a vision of a woman clothed with the sun and the moon under her feet. The sun is representative of the glory and brilliance of Gods righteousness that surrounds her and protects her. Under her feet the moon which is illustrative of eternity, light, Gods faithfulness in His Son Jesus who is the greater light of the gospel age as Jesus being the light of the world that shines in darkness, but the darkness can not comprehend the light, Psalms 72:5-7; Isaiah 2:3-5; Jeremiah 31:35-37; Isaiah 30:26-33; John 1:1-5.

The woman is symbolic of Israel and the congregation of Gods people as she wears a crown of twelve stars which represents the twelve tribes of Israel that have repented of their arrogance as they felt they deserved Gods favor, but yet kept killing the prophets God sent to them, including the very Messiah they were waiting for. This is when the times of the Gentiles began as God went to them to take Himself a people that were humbled enough to receive salvation as God had mercy on them, Matthew 23:37-39; Acts 15:14; Romans 11:25-27.

Paul also warned the Gentiles against being lifted up in pride because they had been favored by God with salvation as he explained the blindness of Israel would not last forever as when they see the Gentiles now having favor in the Lord and being grafted into the branch of Israel they repent of their sin and turn back to God being once again found in His favor, Romans Chapter 11.

The true congregation of God can be symbolized here as a mother that has all here children gathered in one place for safety which in this case is under the wings of the almighty God, Psalms 91. She cries out like a woman in labor as the pain of her persecutions has become too great to bear as she waits to be delivered from her persecutors, 2 Timothy 4:18; 2 Peter 2:9; Colossians 1:13.

The other sign John saw was a great red dragon meaning Satan. Remember, this is a vision and a sign as Satan has not yet been thrown out of heaven yet. The description of the dragon being great and red depicts its nature and character as being fierce and murderous, John 8:44. This red dragon is depicted as having seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. The seven heads and ten horns refer to the original ten kingdoms of which three were subdued by the little horn of Daniel 7:8. The last kingdom which stands greater than all the others is that of a revived Roman Empire that takes control over all the ten nations who then implements a deceiving peace treaty to a world that is in great distress.

The woman....

Revelation 18:7
How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously,
so much torment and sorrow give her:
for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen,
and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.

Isaiah 47:8-9
And thou saidst, I shall be a lady for ever:
so that thou didst not lay these things to thy heart,
neither didst remember the latter end of it.
Therefore hear now this, thou that art given to pleasures, that dwellest carelessly,
that sayest in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me;
I shall not sit as a widow, neither shall I know the loss of children:

for_his_glory, do happen to see a similarity there?

Revelation 18:8
Therefore shall her plagues come in one day,
death, and mourning, and famine;
and she shall be utterly burned with fire:
for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.

Isaiah 47:9-11
But these two things shall come to thee in a moment in one day,
the loss of children, and widowhood:
they shall come upon thee in their perfection
for the multitude of thy sorceries, and for the great abundance of thine enchantments.
For thou hast trusted in thy wickedness: thou hast said, None seeth me.
Thy wisdom and thy knowledge, it hath perverted thee;
and thou hast said in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me.
Therefore shall evil come upon thee; thou shalt not know from whence it riseth:
and mischief shall fall upon thee; thou shalt not be able to put it off:
and desolation shall come upon thee suddenly, which thou shalt not know.
Isaiah Chapter 47 is about the humiliation of Babylon as Rev 17 explains who she is and in Rev 18 writes of her destruction by the hand of God in the end of days.

Rev Chapter 18 is about the fall of this Babylonian political and false religious system that has spanned from the Babylonian Empire and still exist today within the revived Roman Empire.

Babylon in the OT rewarded the Israelites with much persecution, even to death as they tried to ware out the saints of God in order to make them bow down to Babylon's dependency and their gods. The revived Roman Empire whose deadly wound came in 1798 and was healed in 1929 carries on the same destruction as her predecessor Babylon unto the end of days before the great and terrible day of the Lords return. She will receive a double portion for her wrath against the saints of God as God destroys her like He did with Sodom and Gomorrah, Daniel 7:24-26, Genesis 19:1-29, Isaiah 14:12-23.

The kings (governing powers) of the earth that have been appointed by the Jesuit militant priesthood that govern over the ten nations will tremble with fear when they see the seat of Vatican City that will move from Rome to its new headquarters in Jerusalem as they sit on the very temple mount of God, Isaiah 14:13; Matthew 24:15, being destroyed with fire as Gods judgment is pronounced on them, Ezekiel 26:16; Jeremiah 50:46; Revelation 19:3.

YES or NO

Is it blaspheme to worship for God the IMAGE of a MAN?
Won't answer your question till you answer mine. You do not get to play that game with me anymore of asking questions, but not answering mine or other's questions they ask you. If you do not know the answer then just say so as there is no shame in that.

Still waiting for your answer. Where does it mention the names of blasphemy and the ten horns in Rev 12:1-6? until you answer my question we can not move on.

All I said is it was the same women. You are the one looking for names of blaspheme there. You are create a false roadblock to the conversation so you won't answer my very simple questions to you. Your OP is about the Woman in Rev 17. Please stop with all your long explanations of things that are not related to the question at hand. When we are discussing a woman of harlotry, and I ask you a question about the faithful city, I expect an answer to it. Until you can answer these simple questions based upon the scriptures, why should I bother reading about any of your Luciferian ideas?

Who is the Faithful City that became a harlot?

Your question was about the names of Blaspheme. I gave you a name of Blaspheme. But you won't accept that. The names of blaspheme are mentioned in Revelation 17. The word blaspheme does not appear in Revelation 12, so please stop with your games insisting I have put it there. NO. REV 12 :1-6 say ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about Blaspheme.

Now I've answered your question again. So now please answer mine.

Is it Blaspheme to worship for God the IMAGE of a MAN?

I already answered that back in #66.

Now show me the list of names of blasphemy written in Rev 12 and what the ten horns are you say that is written there.

I did not say there were name of blaspheme written in Rev 12. So stop asking me for a list. I have no list.

Can you elaborate a little more on this?

It reads like you are saying the image of the beast wants us to worship Christ hanging on a cross, but He no longer hangs there as He is risen.

You wanted me to elaborate. You ASKED me to elaborate. And so I did.

I asked you a question. YES or NO.

How could you have answered me in post #66 when post #66 is one of my posts?

Is it that difficult to answer again? Who was the Faithful City that became a harlot?

It was you that said all of that was found in Rev 12 and now you are changing your mind saying it's found in Rev 17. Did you mean Rev 17 all along, but mistakenly saying Rev 12?

Your answer is that no one is to bow down and worship any graven images as this is the breaking of God's commandment.

BTW, I am not a one verse kind of gal when it comes to teaching the word of God as I use the full context that is contained in the chapter plus the history that goes with it.

I said: It reads like you are saying the image of the beast wants us to worship Christ hanging on a cross, but He no longer hangs there as He is risen.

What I wanted was clarity on you saying the image of the beast wants us to worship Christ hanging on a cross. Why would that be so hard for you to do as it was a simple request for clarity. But let's move past that as you have made such an issue out of it.

You're right, Christ is not on the cross anymore. He is Spirit.

But the beast and the false prophet use the IMAGE, and cause you to worship this IMAGE. To help you understand, I asked, do you have a picture of Jesus hanging in your house? You may not get down on your knees before it and pray, but you still hold a mental IMAGE of a MAN as God. In all your prophecy, you keep looking for a MAN of Sin as you wait upon the return of the Son of MAN. If I go inside of a Catholic church, would I not find the image of a man upon a cross?

Well, I gave you many parallel scripture between Rev 18 and ISA 47.

Isaiah Chapter 47 is about the humiliation of Babylon as Rev 17 explains who she is and in Rev 18 writes of her destruction by the hand of God in the end of days.

No, Isa 47 is about the daughters of that faithful city.

Oh, look, after all is said and done, you just can't help but bring yourself back to Jerusalem. Mystery Babylon, the Mother of Harlots.

In all your prophecy, you keep looking for a MAN of Sin as you wait upon the return of the Son of MAN.
A faithful watchman will look for the man of sin to come who is the son of perdition found in 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12 as we have been taught by Christ to be not deceived by his lying signs and wonders.

We do wait upon the Son of man being that of the return of Christ who is also called the Son of man and Son of God in scripture.

Of course our focus has to be on Jerusalem being the Holy city of God, but Jerusalem is not mystery Babylon as the revived Roman Empire will once again overtake Jerusalem for the last time as the beast out of the earth, Rev 13, will take his literal seat there causing all to take his mark or die a martyr's death for not renouncing Christ.

And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book,
and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity, and out of darkness.
The meek also shall increase their joy in the Lord,
and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.
For the terrible one is brought to nought, and the scorner is consumed,
and all that watch for iniquity are cut off:

Why do you watch for iniquity, O Ariel?
