I say we know that we have passed from death into life is because we are loving the brothers, not hating the brothers.
Here is my question, based on what John teaches us -
Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. 1 John 3:15
Do you (based on your doctrine) believe a brother who hates his brother has eternal life remaining in him?

I guess you are answering no to my question, but the rest of the answer seems to indicate “no” could mean something else.
I hope we can at least agree that we are called to love, and if we find ourselves in a situation where we are growing resentful or bitter against our brother, we should take it to the Lord, to help us forgive so we don’t end up hating our brother, because...
