Yes if it’s not positive it not a requirement but if they recover they cannot refuse it
Infants are not condemned cos they have no personal sin, but they also need baptism to go to heaven

The church was not founded yet, yes the apostles received revelation from God and for three years christ walked with them teaching them all truth eph 4:5 Jude 1:3

The verse says the Spirit leads. Not the Apostle leads.
Nope... I don't see that in the New Testament.
If you want your argument to hold water maybe use texts that actually address the point.
When did Peter pass any keys?
And still Peter was just a man full of faults and failings.
So if he passed anything on it would be his human nature.

Peter and the eleven make twelve
Judas was dead and Paul was not one of them

It is Jesus Christ who identifies peter with himself! Matt 17:27
Jesus Christ gives the keys of the kingdom to peter matt 16:18-19 making him prime minister applying Isa 22:21-22 to peter
Peter exercises his authority over the apostles in the church!

Most people would say Paul was the 12th. Ordained by God not the hand of man.

And what do YOU mean by "church"?
Maybe you need to re-read John 17. Lots more than just Peter getting prayed for.
If you read the text you provide it does not give the flock to Peter... but gives Peter a job to "feed the sheep".
It is not telling the sheep to follow Peter but ordering Peter to get to work.
Where is that in the Bible?
And what about Gal 2:11? Peter gets corrected.
And you and I are also children of the King... If you asked Christ if the tribute is due... He would say the same to you or I.
Just because Peter asked the question does not indicate special position.
Funny, I don't see any mention in Matt that Peter was elevated to Prime Minister.
And he also gets taken down a notch by Paul in Gal 2:11.
Not so perfect was he?
Nuts! I have been praying to Jesus as far back as my memory goes. He answers. I highly suggest you seek that personnel relationship. So He doesn't state to you, "I don't know you"
Jesus=>Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
He means one wife
Elder means priest
Where would infants go then? Don't you believe Jesus, the one who judges, has any say so in their outcome?
It was Paul but that's going to require an entire thread on the validity of Apostolic succession. God help us.
Paul was set aside at birth, so God already knew His choice beforehand. The apostles would have known to had they waited on an answer to their prayer. But even so they only sought to replace the one who abandoned his office not set a trend. An office that is beyond the life of the body sitting on 12 thrones judging the tribes of Israel.
Then they prayed, “Lord, you know everyone’s heart. Show us which of these two you have chosen
All people have personal sin ever since the garden of Eden. And sprinkling them with water does not mean that they go to heaven. That is Catholic doctrine, but neither is in the Bible.
Ephesians 2:8-9: "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God— not the result of works, so that no one may boast."
Read this carefully. A person is saved by faith; it is a gift from God. It cannot be earned by any kind of works or ritual.
If the Christian sacrament of baptism is the Initiation into the new covenant -- it isn't -- and must be ministered to you by the apostles, then nobody can enter the new covenant because all the apostles are dead.
Not forgetting, of course, that Jesus called Peter "Satan" and a stumbling block to Him. And he denied knowing Jesus three times. Hopefully, Peter didn't pass anything of his human nature on to anyone!

And this: "Peter exercises his authority over the apostles in the church!".. Peter had no authority over the (Jewish) apostles. James was the leader of the church in Jerusalem and Paul was the chief apostle to the Gentiles.
You might want to read what Paul wrote about Peter's behavior in Galatia to see what kind of person he actually was.
