Did Jesus take on the sins of the whole world?

Saved from what?
Re: Well, God says everyone has enough light so as they are without excuse (Rom. 1). Not everyone has enough light to be saved. The additional light is knowledge and trust in Christ. Without this additional light John 3:18 says they're "toast" (going to hell).

Answer: saved from hell's fire

So to you everyone in the world became dead in spirit at Jesus's coming? Rather I would reason God left their sin's unpunished for the most part beforehand and when they received the light of the gospel then they were held accountable in regard to the spirit.

Answer: saved from hell's fire
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things

One can be saved from their present circumstances.
One can be perishing until they believe

But looking at the full text...I would not for myself say I fully understand because right now I see it as partly of their experience.

Do you make money from this site I don't?
Another words those we listen to here ....we don't know if they are making money and part of the owners of this site. And even if they did make money that does not mean they are misleading you. I was just sharing- I just won't be dogmatic about whose going to heaven and whose not. Look at the thief on the cross he could be the prime example of the little girl in the video.

So to you everyone in the world became dead in spirit at Jesus's coming?
Everyone from Adam's offspring onward is spiritually dead. This the term "born again".
  • John 3:3 Jesus replied, “I tell you the solemn truth, unless a person is born from above
  • John 3:5 Jesus answered, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, unless a man is born of water and [even] the Spirit, he cannot [ever] enter the kingdom of God
  • Ephesians 2:1 And you hath he quickened [made alive those whom were spiritually dead … no one can resurrect himself physically or spiritually], who were dead in trespasses and sins;
  • Colossians 2:13 “And you, being [spiritually] dead in your trespasses
I would reason God left their sin's unpunished for the most part beforehand and when they received the light of the gospel then they were held accountable in regard to the spirit.
Leaving sin unpunished contradicts the concept of God being just. I grant that there is degrees of sin and God punishes some more than others .... but the penalty for sin is hell.
Romans 11:32 For God has imprisoned all in disobedience so that He may show mercy to all [Jew and Gentile alike].
Aside: If you could give a verse to validate you contention that God does not punish sinners that are not IN CHRIST ... present them.

Is Jesus unjust? Is with light comes accountability to hard for you to see?
If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.

Is God unjust ?
Romans 3:25
God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished—

Question
what is the difference between

regenerated

Born from above
quickened by the Spirit
Made alive in Christ
born again

God defines justice, not you or I. I see the light. Romans 1 say all are without excuse, they have seen the light.

If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.
Good verse, I will give you that. If you interpretation is correct it would be a terrible idea to tell people of Christ.

Let's test your interpretation.
Premise1: Joe never heard of Christ and died. During his lifetime he raped women, murdered, drunkard, idol worshiped, etc.
Premise 2: 1 Cor. 6:9-11 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.
Premise 3: If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin;
Conclusion:
We have a contradiction here. On one hand a verse says Joe should go to hell and your interpretation of a verse which you say "Joe did not sin". :chin I wonder what will happen to Joe :chin

Is God unjust ? God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith.
God is just. By grace He overlooks our sin based on our FAITH in Christ. The guy who died and never heard of Christ does not have saving faith so justice is served by punishment in hell.

Well ... we're going in circles. I'll give you the last word if you want/

regenerated

None in my mind.
I also believe "baptized in the Spirit" could be added to the list.
  • Mark 1:8 I have baptized you with water, but he will [future tense] baptize you with the Holy Spirit.”
  • Luke 3:16 John answered them all, saying, “I baptize you with water, but he who is mightier than I is coming, the strap of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will [future tense] baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
  • Acts 1:5 for John baptized with water, but you will be [future tense] baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.” [Jesus’ post-resurrection seminar on the Kingdom of God]
  • John 1:33; Acts 11:16

First of all I don't believe any in this day and age has not heard of Jesus and we preach to the living not the dead. Any preaching on the other side is of the Lord Himself.
In regard to wicked Joe he would come before Jesus and He will make a judgment concerning Him. What about Alice who never heard of Jesus neither directly or from others and she was a sweet and kind always helping the less fortunate. Does Alice deserve eternal judgment?

Yes God is just. Jesus went and preached to the spirits in prison so that though judged according to the flesh as judgement for wickedness they might live according to the spirit.

There are billions who have died in the last 2000 years who never heard of Christ and therefore are in Hell. Is God "merciful and gracious" to those people? If He died for those people, why does He not see to it that they hear of Him and then could appropriate saving faith?
If there heart is right they will notbgo to hell. Back in the bible days before Jesus the old testament states all the time to look forward to the coming messiah. He reminds them if the covenant God made with Abraham and then David. Now a days people who have never heard will have dreams and visions. I know this to be true. The bible says that if you seek him you will find him. He gives everyone am opportunity.

Google "how many people have never heard of jesus" ... one site says 3 billion. You should do research instead of blind assumptions.
I said I wouldn't comment further ... so I reneged by replying... sorry
