God's Great Free Gift of Salvation for Everyone

God so loved the world, John 3:16, That he saved the world, John 3:17. So that whosoever that calls upon his name shall be saved, Romans 10:13.

Robert, the idea is backwards...
One must be regenerated FIRST,
IOW, born again.

To be able to call on Jesus' name for salvation,
And to become born again.

A person must be born again,
To become born again.

Those verses talking about the Elect. Also a person must be saved in order to hear the word of God. Jesus said Jn 8:47

47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

You are saying that you must already be saved before you can hear the Gospel. Not so. The 8,000 that heard Peter's Gospel were not saved. They were saved by hearing and believing Peter's Gospel, Acts 2:41, also Acts 4:4.

Before someone can believe, they must be able hear, and to be able to hear, one must be of God thats what Jesus said Jn 8:47

47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

They were saved by hearing and believing the Gospel.

Many of them which heard the word (Peter's Gospel) believed; and the number of the men was about 5,000, Acts 4:4.

They were born again before Peter preached to them. Jesus tells us who it is that hears Gods words Jn 8:47

47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

In John 8:47 Jesus was speaking to the lost Pharisees. The Pharisees were lost because they were trusting in the law to save them. Paul said, "Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight" Romans 3:20. This is why they were not of God.

I know who Jesus was talking to, nevertheless He made a factual statement, He tells us who it is that hears Gods words, what does He say Jn 8:47

47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

Once again, they were not of God because they were ALREADY lost. They were trying to be justified by the law. It is not wise to say that this scripture pertains to everyone. If you have embraced a false doctrine and you refuse to repent, you are not of God. John 8:47 does not support Calvinism, it actually supports free will. "So then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God (which is the Gospel) Romans 10:17.

Yes, everyone is related to Adam. Everyone has inherited Adam's sinful nature and need to be born again by the Gospel, "Being born again, not of corruptible seed (Adam) but of incorruptible (Christ) by the word of God, which lives and abides forever" 1 Peter 1:23.

Okay so a person who is born lost isnt of God. Yet in order to hear Gods word we must be of God Jesus said, Look Jn 8:47
47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

Those jews and everyone else is born lost and not of God friend.

You want to believe that God is a cruel, mean tyrant that delights in sending people to hell.

Everyone is born with a void in their heart that can only be filled with Jesus Christ. People try to fill this void with the things of this world including religion.

Your Calvinist God will not let you believe that God is just, merciful, kind and is not willing that any should perish, 2 Peter 3:9. By your words you will be condemned.

So you see, until a person is of God, they have no Spiritual hearing therefore no spiritual faith

I was the chief of all sinners, until I heard that Jesus shed his blood for me. When I heard that, the Holy Spirit fell on me like a ton of bricks, and I was converted to Christ.

You fighting against Christ my friend, a fight you will ultimaetly lose. He tells us who it is that Hears the word of God Jn 8:47

You believe that God is a heartless, mean, cruel, tyrant that predestinates people to hell before they are born.
